Birthday gift for @hawktalonflame. I wanted to upload it on the same day as her birthday and not late, but I wanted her to see it, first. ...as of this date, she hasn't seen it yet, whoops. xD I drew her PMD team, Overgrow, in a classic toon style... though come to think of it, I think only my patrons have ever seen toon styles from me to this point... whoops again? xD

I feel like doing a PMD: Omega Ruby game lately - with Faye returned as a human, and Kiptide and maybe some others coming to find her, same as ASaph. 

Obviously that’s no Nuzlocke, but adding some challenges or quirks wouldn’t hurt. I wonder how I could tweak gameplay to reflect a PMD story or decide who to catch... got a few ideas, but input is helpful!

Deidra @ Kiptide : You have quite an interesting name! Did you pick it all by yourself? If you did, why did you choose that one out of all the other names out there?

"I did pick my name, but it was immediate and I didn't even think about it. I didn't remember my name when I woke up here, so when someone asked, I chose the first thing I saw, and changed the "rip", in riptide, to "kip", to make it sound more like a normal mudkip name... it's kind of stupid, if you think about it." The mudkip rubbed the back of his neck, sheepishly.

PMD:Omega Ruby Part 8

Wow. Beating Maxie with a little Mudkip was super satisfying. Kiptide knows what he’s doing - even large evolved Poke’mon don’t daunt him.

Team Magma is probably a bit of a shock for the rescue team, what with actual deliberate attempts to cause disasters. That wasn’t generally the case in PMD1. Doubtless the team wasn’t cool with that ‘I will bury you by my own hand’ comment either. In the end someone did end up in a Rock Tomb... (cough Maxie’s Golbat).

Oh yeah! Caught a male Surskit (Skeeter), female Zangoose (Valiant), female Skarmory (Harshly), and female Spoink (Erin). It took a long time to encounter a Skarmory that could outspeed Kiptide. Doubt the first 3 will be team members, so... NPCs it is.

Last Nuzlocke it sucked that my Grumpig died quickly. Maybe we could raise this Spoink? Death-free and all that. It may soon be time to part ways with Zudo for a little bit. If so, he’ll go to the daycare, maybe along with another Poke’mon for company.
