“Oh? You think you can make her fall for you rather than me?”

“I don’t think so. I know so.”

Rin and Kirari were in the same room with Ririka and Ibara, the latter duo watching them talk as if it was a tennis match. Rin and Kirari were currently in disagreement about their crush, Y/N. Kirari had said that she had been courting Y/N since before Rin came into the school. He had responded, “By courting, do you mean inviting her to gamble with you constantly? I bet I could court her better than you could.”

And now they were in the position where neither of them would let down. Rin figured out his crush on Y/N after she had defeated him easily, but instead of taking his votes, she grinned at him and said, “You’ll pay me in whatever shopping spree I have upcoming.” With a pat to his shoulders and her fingers barely letting go as she walked away, Rin felt his heart fall out of his chest right then and there, causing him to fall for her.

Kirari was stating that she had fallen for Y/N first, therefore it wasn’t fair that Rin tried to come and sweep her off of her feet. However, she wanted to also discreetly shove it into Rin’s face that Y/N loved her and not him. “Fine. May the best Bami win her love.”

“Oh, I plan to.”

For the next few days, everyone could see that Y/N had someone trailing after her, whether it was the president herself or Rin Obami. Sayaka had grown worried because Kirari was constantly mumbling to herself in her office. Ibara blinked in shock when Rin grabbed all of his romance manga and skimmed through them to get an idea as to how to court Y/N.

Meanwhile, Y/N had no idea what was going on. All she knew was that she was getting extravagant gifts from both of them. Monday, Rin had come up to her and given her a giant bear. Rin had said, “It reminded me of you! You should take it!” He could see Kirari at the end of the hallway and he had a smug smile at seeing her eyes harden at the sight of them.

The next day, Kirari decided to take Y/N out shopping at that new place that she wanted to go to. She said, “You deserve to be taken out shopping every time you want.” No matter how much it cost, Kirari made sure to buy what Y/N wanted, even if Y/N tried to deny that she wanted it. Kirari could see that she really did, and she didn’t mind either. Anything for her. 

As they walked out of another store, Kirari saw Ibara and Rin on the other side of the mall, walking past stores. Ibara saw Kirari and nudged Rin, pointing with his chin. Rin looked up and his face was contorted in outrage at seeing Kirari here, and with Y/N much less. He was here to buy her yet another present and he was going to go on a shopping spree with her as she requested, how could Kirari do something like this? 

When Kirari saw Rin, she had a smile on her face that said everything. She even had the audacity to take Y/N’s hand and lead her to another store. Rin was seething and he had to make another plan. 

A week later, everyone could see that Kirari and Rin were running circles around Y/N, trying to chase each other with her in the middle. It got to the point where Kirari asked her to be in her office because they needed to talk. Y/N stepped in and sat across from Kirari. “What did you need me for?”

Kirari’s face was actually turning slightly pink out of nerves. “Well, actually--”

“NOT SO FAST, YOU CHEATER!” The door slammed open and in came Rin Obami himself, with a bouquet of flowers and panting as though he ran a 10 mile marathon.

Kirari rolled her eyes to the ceiling. “Can’t you see that we’re talking here?”

“Whatever she said to you, don’t do it, Y/N!” Rin declared, pointing at Kirari. 

Y/N blinked in confusion. “I just got called in to talk--”

“And you, Rin Obami, are ruining it!” Kirari stood up, her hands on the desk as she leaned forward, her eyes now squinting at the intruder. “You can give me the bouquet, I’ll give it to Y/N.”

“No, I will! I had an entire thing planned!”

“Well, that’s too bad, I got to her first!”

“And guess who’s got grander gestures than you?!”

“Definitely not you, I literally saw you at the mall the other day, you are not subtle at all.”

Rin glared at her and stalked over to get closer to the desk to point directly at the president of the academy. “But you’re the one that can’t even court someone properly! At least I can court people in a way that makes them aware that I do like them, unlike you, who can’t do anything without bringing gambling into this.”

Kirari’s eyes widened as she gasped the slightest bit. “How dare you assume I can do anything without gambling? I’m not Jabami Yumeko and I can prove it. Now if you’ll leave so I can prove it--”

Rin slammed the bouquet down on the desk and they were glowering at each other. He said, “I am not leaving because I do not trust you. You know what? Let’s ask her ourselves!” 

They both turned to Y/N and crashed their hands on the table, asking the same question, “Which of us do you like more?”

Meanwhile, Y/N was on her phone, clicking away. It seemed as though while they were fighting the whole time, she got bored and instead was playing a game. “Damn it, I lost my combo. It’s my favorite greeting me!” She finally looked up when she saw Rin and Kirari staring at her. “What did you need?” However, she didn’t let them talk because she looked at her watch and said, “Oh man, look at the time, I’m late for a date!”

“Date?!” They both shrilly cried out. 

“Well, yeah, Terano asked me to tea. I would rather be punctual than not because she is super punctual. I’ll answer whatever question you asked me later, bye!” Y/N stood up quickly and ran to the door, opening it and it slammed shut, leaving behind the two dumbfounded individuals who were pining after her. 

Kirari broke the silence first. “Terano...asked her to tea?”

“I didn’t know she liked Y/N.”

Then their eyes widened as they looked at each other. “Terano’s going after Y/N too!”

She raised her hand towards me and I looked down to the ground, hesitant. "I am worried." I spoke, it was evident in my voice and she let out a chuckle. "I was another worry but you still loved me, after all you have decided to dedicate your life to me, so what is stopping you now?" She asked twirling my hair. I was tensed, if being honest. "We might fall from the helicopter." She frowned, "We might." She said back, that did not ease my nerves. "But, I'd be happy to die with you, you are my everything." It was true, we were each other's worlds. I took her hand and hopped in to the helicopter, caressing her cheek and her giving me a soft kiss, I whispered, "Till death do us apart." she repeated, "Till death do us apart, my love."

I held her hand and boarded the helicopter, knowing that when I am with her the safest, and she will always keep me safe.

This is the first time i write something with the whole powerful darling, I hope I made it right

I was on the middle of writing it when I remember Majo Taisen and the whole greed things, and I thought that is could be a pretty interesting crossover

Yumeko Jabami

Yumeko always acts really innocent and affectionate, clinging to those she likes and once she get even the smallest interest on you she will make her way into your life, but once she fall in love with you with that intensity she will pry every little detail she can of you as well as try to monopolize you

Even if you weren't into gambling Yumeko herself will make sure to make you enter in that world, so you already gambling a lot make her things easier. At first she thinks that is just for the school spirit or because you like it but it doesn't take her much time to realice that you have a second intention, even if you try to hide it she will know

Yumeko will find out how smart you are and that excited her, that means that the games with you could be even more exciting, and about the ambitious part she will notice it without much troubles, you are the love of her life so is normal to know those things, isn't it? And truth be told, she finds really exciting and interesting that part of you too

She doesn't want to ask you right away what is what you wish because she want to find it herself, it is riches? power over others? maybe is being above everyone? or maybe you just want to defeat others to mocke them? It doesn't matter what you want, what matter is that you are looking high and Yumeko wants to see you reach that peak or fall and lose everything

When Yumeko fell in love she was planning on drag you to everything and everywhere she will go, but knowing that you already have a plan she decides that is better to follow, she practically becomes your own shadow, making difficult to people to tell where end one and start the other, as well following you close and watching every step you do closely and excitedly, she wants to be there when you win and when you lose, when you take risks, when you get closer to your goal, she wants to see it everything and live it with you

But just watching you isn't funny so, you wanting it or not, Yumeko become part of your plan and help you find a way to reach your goal, gambling with you and even giving you the resources to do so if you need it, and now that she is part of the plan she make you see even higher and will make you take more and more risks

Yumeko become like a puppet master with this whole plan, she wants to convice you to take more risks, and even risking more and more, the whole plan if is need it, if she has to manipulate you to change your mind into one more appealing to her she will, still there is a risk of losing your trust or you wanting to throw her away for messing your plan, but isn't risking her relasionship with you, the person she loves the most and the one who she promised to follow blindly, the biggest risk she can take? And even that is exciting!

But at the same time she will be your puppet to use, you can use all the recurses she has and even put her life at risk as long as you feed her with the excitement of the gambles and your beautiful ambition

Even if you actually throw her away she will make her way into your life once again, she wants to watch every single one of your moves, she will hate to lose anytime you take a risk, and she waits excited to see the results of your plan, it doesn't matter if you achieved your goal or lose everything, either result will be satisfiting for her as long as you get it by risking everything

Even if you end up losing everything she will be there to your side to feed your ambition, helping you fill yourself with determination to stand up once again and make a new plan, to wish more and more once again

Kirari Momobami

Kirari is a kind of controlling person but not in the totality, she likes to create the perfect scenario for her to enjoy the view of how it behaves and develops, making the whole school in her little aquarium for her amusment

She never really thought that she will find herself amused for just a little fish, you were truly something else, something to catch her completely attention and something she wants for herself, at first she was just interested in how much you gamble but soon she start to notice a patron in your games, always challenging those who can give you something useful, with that winning more of her interest

The more she watch you the more amused she is, her little and innocent darling is actually a predator, her curiousity lead her to pry every little detail of you, either for her amusment or to be able to use it later, and without noticing it her curiousity quickly becomes a completely obsession and soon Kirari finds herself unable to stop herself from wondering what will be your next step, waiting expectantly

She is really smart so it won't take her long time to find out what you goal is, what you want, but it doesn't matter if is big or small she will try to put an end to it, Kirari just can't have her precious little darling going here and there doing whatever they want, as much as Kirari loves your ambition and wild spirit she want you to herself, and she has her own plans and goals to reach and yours just becomes a problem in her way

Even when she is a controlling person she always enjoys a good match and knowing how smart you are she knows you can become a really good rival so once day, when she is completely ready for what she is going to do, Kirari herself stands before you and with elegant and beautiful words she admit her interest on you just before declaring war on you

Kirari always fights for what she wants and right now you are the object of her desire, however she is giving you the oportunity to win the freedom to continue with whatever is your plan, you can accept and fight with her or just give up and be hers already, although if you accepted you better be ready because she isn't going to easy on you and she is willing to cheat if you become a true problem

It doesn't matter if you want to put it in just one game or make it a long war, Kirari is willing to fight until she finally defeat you (because in her mind there is no other option), she loves your ambitious personality but he is eager to see how will react the moment she breaks your pride and ambition, the moment you fail and become completely hers

This quickly becomes a truly war, a fight where it put to the test your desire, to see the ambition and determination of the one who is greater and more powerful, although no matter how the fights goes Kirari isn't really planning to leave you go, every second it pass make her more desperate to have you and if she has to make you lose and become a housepet to have you all to herself she will do it without a doubt

You're a pretty well known girl at Hyakkaou academy, mainly because you've never gambled with anyone. Many people ask, but you always turn them down. This however, does not go unnoticed by the schools president, Kirari Momobami. One day you had received a message that kirari had invited you to the council room for a meeting. You were obviously nervous, she's the most powerful person in the school. She could do any and everything to destroy you. So your nervousness was very justified. You made you way to the student council room, a bunch of different scenarios running through your head. Before you know it you're standing right outside the door. You gently knock once or twice before hearing her calm voice, "Enter". You open the door and step inside. She looks at you and motions for you to come further in and sit down. You, still obviously nervous, sit down on the couch and wait for her to speak. After what felt like eternity to you, she speaks, in a curious yet disappointed kind of tone "So y/n, I've noticed that you haven't really been involved in some of the gambling happening here". After a short pause she continues, "Care to explain to me why?". You stay silent for a second, thinking of your reasoning. You explain to her why you don't participate in any gambles (I'm to lazy to come up with one). She listens to every word, never interrupting once. When you get done talking, she just nods and dismisses you from the room. You say goodbye and exit the room. When you're gone she thinks about what you told her, normally she wouldn't let it slide, but you're different. There's something about you that she can't figure out. Needless to say, she's very intrigued by you.

Your fingers clenched on your numbing knees as you looked over the game table where Midari and Kirari were. Sure, it started as a simple student council gamble. Trying to earn you as a price for the thrill of it. Kirari even put a nice, heavy collar on your neck to prove her point.

Full house, straight flush, and royal flush landed on the table, each side relentless to beat the other. Midari might have taken reckless gambles but won't let Kirari get too ahead of her, even if the game draws out forever.

"So damn boring," Midari huffed, placing her revolver down, knocking a few chips in the process. "You always bet too low, President."

Kirari shot her a firm look, lips forming a sinister smile. "Well, I'm not the one running out of chips now, am I?"

Midari snorted, shrugging that indirect insult. She might be bothered with her stack of chips running short because of her impulsive bets but worrying was never fun so why bother?

Midari looked in your direction, seeing your head bowed down and knees quivering.

"Hey sweetie, come here," Midari ushered you over with a finger to which you slowly obeyed, almost keeling over from your sore knees as you walked towards her.

With an almost triumphant look in her eyes, she circled an arm on your waist and pulled you to her lap. The small sound of surprise coming from you just made the situation even more amusing to her.

Midari tilted her head to Kirari, a smug smile on her face as she said, "Why the sour face now, Prez? Wish you thought about this earlier, huh?"

Midari playfully patted your thigh, squeezing it a bit just to show Kirari how much she have a grip on you.

"Fondling with the prize because you cannot have her by the time this is over looks more pathetic when you do it, Midari," Kirari smiled, putting down a straight royal flush.

"Huh, you think so," Midari chuckled, putting down the same value of cards. Even before the dealer came to settle the situation due to equal value, Midari signaled her to stop and back away.

"I don't want to bet with these damn chips anymore." Midari shoved the rest of her chips out of the way, others toppling and rolling over the floor. She slid down her revolver in the poker table to Kirari's direction, the barrel stopping right at the president's hand.

"Do it," Midari urged, a firm arm remained on your waist as she set her head down on her other hand, waiting for Kirari to make the shot.

You heard the sound of the cylinder turning, a fast resolute aim from Kirari before a gunshot echoed in the room. You trembled in Midari's lap, your hands shaking when you covered your face in shock. Midari patted your head, pulling you close to her body when she saw you trembling.

She wiped the blood from the small cut on her ear, the open wound bleeding out into the collar of her shirt.

"Terrible fucking aim, Prez," she only laughed, holding a handkerchief to her ear to staunch the blood. "I bet you can do worse."

Kirari put the revolver down and said, "I just don't want this game to end sooner than I'd like."

"If you say so," Midari just shrugged, standing up with you in their arms. "Maybe you can aim better at some time soon, eh?"

After you exit the game room, Midari notices the way your hand shakes against hers. She pulled you aside and raised your face to look at her.

"Hey, sugar, sorry to scare you like that," she mumbled, her single eye had a trace of concern. The blood began to dry on the side of her face. It was almost fascinating how the red had smudged on her neck. It suits her in a way.

"I'm okay. Don't worry. Does your ear still hurt?" you asked.

She just chuckled and shook her head, "Nah, I've had worse than this." Midari quickly offered you a hand which you took.

"Let's get out of here, alright?" she winked before pulling you out of that hallway.

"Why the hell do you always wear this collar? It's fucking annoying. And you get rashes from it," Midari hissed, before swiftly unlocking your collar and tossing it on the other side of her room, making the thing thump and rattle against the floor. One hand gently pushed you back to bed as her lips ran along your neck, kissing the reddening rashes trailing to where the collar had been earlier.

"The President made me wear it," you mumbled, a hand tangled in her short hair as her kisses turned into bruising ones, even nipping at your skin.

"To hell with what she wants. I don't want you wearing it around me. Got it?" she ordered, popping your uniform open to have your breasts in her mouth. "Let me treat you like a princess when I have you here."

You just nodded and smiled appreciatively at her, wondering how this thing of trying to win you over would end for both her and Midari. What would come after this? Freedom, a life plan, or an even more inescapable prison? Your fork toyed with the rest of the cream, your throat aching for water to wash all the sweetness down.

"Mind if I take you somewhere?" Kirari offered, urging you to follow her outside.

A week with her felt rather... amusing. She loves it when you tail her around while wearing that nice collar with gems matching her eyes. When you kneel or sit by during her games, or how fascinated you were at the Tower of Doors whenever she tours you around. When you hear her laugh or smile, you forget that she's remorseless enough to treat the whole academy as her aquarium to stir and play around with.

"Midari..." The sound of her name in your mouth nudged the gentleness in her heart. She longed to have you in her arms after a week of not having you. Midari never wanted to share you with anyone in the future even if it killed her.

Midari brushed the hair out of your face, saying, "I missed you, my sweet girl."

Her hand found the nape of your neck, maybe finding a way to get rid of that collar from you, but found it impossible to do so. Midari only cupped your face in her hands, pulling you into a sweet, sloppy kiss you always loved. Every move of her mouth spoke of how she missed you, her grape lipstick left a faint and sweet taste on your mouth as she pulled away slightly to catch her breath.

"Hey," she breathed, looking at your eyes. "Today will be my final gamble with Kirari. Watch me closely, okay?"

You nodded, letting her pat your head once more as you sank into her warm embrace. She reminded you once again of the warm earth after a sunny morning, the stalks of grass brushing your legs in a grass field. Midari's presence grounded you into reality once again,  battling with Kirari's celestial promises for a place in your mind.

You were torn and placed in a situation where choosing wouldn't be the best option.

A cough resounded from your back, making you and Midari turn in that direction just to see the president eyeing your intimate moment cross-armed.

"I suggest for us not to touch the pet until the gamble is over. For the sake of fairness. How does that sound?" Kirari said, her cold voice cutting the warmth off that room.

Midari slowly withdrew from you, squeezing you gently before saying, "Sounds like a load of bullshit to me, but fine. I'll have her as long as I like after, anyway."

Kirari was a fatalist. She believed that everything that happened at her school was because it was planned beforehand. That is, until she met Y/N. Y/N, who was consistently going against the path that Kirari made for everyone. She was the one sacrificing herself but not for good intentions. She sacrificed herself because she wanted to feel the thrill of having her life being in danger. She was like Midari in that sense, but unlike her, she found pain to be unnecessary. The risk was enough.

The first time that Kirari had actually met her in person and seen what she was like was when Y/N was in a gamble against a housepet. Y/N had had the housepet beg to go against her. Kirari distinctly remembered hearing all of this from Runa. She could remember the feeling of seeing this housepet want to go against the "wallflower" of the school. This was all before Kirari knew who Y/N really was.

During the gamble, Kirari saw how Y/N got bored from gambling with her opponent easily. She won faster than she thought and had no pity for the housepet. All she had said was, "Man, and here I thought you would give me some sort of thrill. How boring. Don't ever speak to me again."

Kirari could swear that that was the moment she fell for Y/N. She didn't know it then but she would in the future. As she tracked Y/N's games, she saw more and more about her. By psychoanalyzing her, Kirari could see who Y/N truly was. She couldn't be called a compulsive gambler. She didn't gamble for the money. It seemed like she had plenty of money to get herself out of tough situations. No, she didn't gamble for value. She gambled for the thrill. She gambled to tempt fate.

"The fated temptress..." Kirari mumbled to herself as she graze her blue lips with her nail. A slow smile appeared across her face. "The things she could do to this school..."

Over time, Kirari fabricated a plan that would get Y/N and her together, making them the most dangerous couple in school. The president, with her slightly sadistic tendencies and Y/N, tempting fate consistently. It got to the point where they were inseparable, thus giving others the challenge to take one away from the other. But they not only were inseparable, no one had ever beaten them. The risks made others shrink back, whereas they welcomed it.

"The games are so dull these days, Kirari." Y/N groaned as she sat sideways on her armchair, her legs tossed over an armrest. She was staring at the ceiling, trying to think of something.

Kirari was sitting at her desk and she looked up at her lover with a smile. "Did you not just play a game to purposefully risk your life as a housepet?"

"I know you would've given me a good Life Plan, but that's not the point. The point is that I want a good game that's going to fill me of adrenaline."

Opening a notebook, Kirari flipped to a red-bookmarked page. Then she glanced over at Y/N with a smile that said everything. "I have a plan."

Kirari knew someone else who had a crush on you and consistently did their best to try and take you away. This person constantly sent her invitations to gamble with them, but she always threw the invitations in the trash. This time, though, would be different. She'd write something down so that the person would arrive in the gambling den of her preference.

On the day of, the white haired president and her lover stood in front of the door. Y/N raised an eyebrow. "This is it? What's going on?"

"You said you were bored, my love. I can't have you being bored. I made a game that will definitely leave you breathless."

Walking in, the person was unrecognizable with a full faced mask, similar to the vice president's. However, Y/N knew that it was not her. This was someone else completely. "Hm? Who are you?"

"I will not discuss that with you now. You may call me Q in the meantime." The voice seemed mechanical, but the person was too fluid with their movements as they showed Kirari the table set up for them. It was a simple table, lit up by a single overhead light, creating an eerie atmosphere.

Kirari grabbed both of Y/N's hands. "Are you willing to do whatever with this game?"

Y/N's eyes shone as she kissed Kirari's knuckles. "Anything for you. I trust you and know you'll make me have a good time."

Stepping forward, Kirari took a seat across Q. She placed her hands delicately under her chin. "Tell me, Q, what is the purpose of you sending me multiple invitations to gamble with you? Surely, you have a good game prepared for me."

Q laughed, an unnatural sound that could have chilled Y/N's bones if it wasn't for her being more excited about the stakes in this game. Q responded, "We shall be playing Guillotine. I will explain the rules after we put forward our bets. It will be a five round game and our bets shall be large enough now to best each other at the end of this."

"To clarify, we make our bets now and then you'll tell me the rules?"

"Precisely. I trust that you won't let down from this game? I know you are not a coward, President."

Kirari barely spared a glance towards Y/N, acknowledging that she was impatient to see why she was here and what the stakes were. "I am not."

"Good. Here's the twist of the bets: we choose what will ruin the other. In other words, we are choosing the others' bets. Your bet?"

"Your life, of course."

"As expected. I want Y/N. I want to have her for myself without you interrupting any moments of ours."

Y/N clapped her hands together, her smile genuine for the first time since coming here. "You want to ruin our lives and relationship? Oh, what fun! Kirari, say yes, please say yes. I trust you more than anyone but the adrenaline of losing each other...this is more than fate! This is what was set out for us in the first place!"

Kirari found herself nodding. The game started with that movement. With every round came a new pulse of anticipation. Kirari won the first round and Q won the second round. It happened once again and each time that Q won, Y/N hummed in surprise and excitement. Kirari wouldn't let it be shown on her face or in her gameplay, but she refused to let this nobody try to take the love of her life away. She did all of this for Y/N's happiness and she wouldn't be the one to lose her.

It was funny though. This game of Guillotine was brand new and she had never heard of it. There was something off about it, however. Her piercing blue eyes slightly squinted at Q, as if trying to decipher the meaning of the game with a stare at her opponent. She wouldn't do anything just yet. She needed to know more than she needed to win. Maybe that was why she and Y/N were a perfect match. Y/N wanted to risk herself and Kirari would risk everything to know about something.

"Tell me this, Q, how long have you been wanting to play this game?" Kirari tapped her fingers on the table. "I can see that you have been impatient about finally playing this and saving it for someone special. It's almost as if..." Her eyes slightly widened. She understood now, it was so obvious.

Love had a funny way of getting in the way of destiny. Some people could argue that love was destiny whereas others would say that you create love with destiny. Kirari now knew that Q was specifically trying not to lose because they thought that trying not to lose meant winning. Instead of trying to win, it was the opposite. They were so focused on Y/N that they accidentally manipulated themselves at the end of the day. Y/N was supposed to be their motivation. She was their downfall. This was it. Kirari could win.

"Why should that matter to you?"

"Because this is an impressive game. How long have you been trying to get Y/N to fall for you?"

Q stayed quiet. "That has nothing to do with you."

"Tell me. Is it because of how compulsive she is? Is it because she's easily made everyone lose? Do you crave losing to her?"

"I said it has nothing to do with you."

"I can see your pattern." Kirari laughed softly. "You were deliberately trying to lose to me so that you could have the spotlight on you if you won this round. Love has quite a way of messing with people's minds. You were too obsessed with Y/N to realize something: there is a reason why we are untouchable."

Y/N raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "Come on, Kirari, I want to see who lost and who won!"

"Patience, my love. Oh?" Kirari pressed a hand to her lips. "It makes you jealous how I treat her, right? That's why you want to steal her from me so badly. It will hurt her and me, most especially me. You want me to hurt while you simultaneously show that you could treat her better."

"Stop it. Show what you have." Q demanded.

"I still have the love of my life." She showed her cards to Q with a grin. "Y/N trusts me. I am never going to let her down."

Y/N went over to hug Kirari tightly. "You won. Do you have a Life Plan with you?"

"Mm, I'll do that later. Let's go to the one place you wanted to go to. Oh, and Q?" She stood up and looked at Q with the deadliest eyes she had ever used on someone. "Do not ever try to steal her again. You may gamble with her, as long as you make her time worth it. I would like my lover to enjoy every single second of every day."

They left and Y/N let out a sigh of relief as they walked to the restaurant she wanted to go to. She was holding Kirari's hand tightly. "I think that was the best rush of adrenaline I've felt in a long time. I will admit, I was on the edge of my seat at the end. Of course, I trust you. I knew you'd never let me go."

Kirari turned her head slightly to look at her from the corner of her eye. "Oh? Was the fated temptress scared?"

"Of course not!"

"You can tell me. I will only be slightly offended."

"Kirari!"

They were teasing each other lightly, but the grip on each other's hands said everything. The gamble scared both of them more than they let on but now that Kirari had won, they held each other in higher esteem than they had before. Y/N was a magnet to danger and Kirari was attracted to everything she had to offer. They were untouchable and they would continue to be as long as they had each other.

A/N: There is something special about a character who seems nice but can actually be pretty scary. I like it. Anyway, here you go, I hope you like it! Word Count: 2,513

The student population was abuzz after the student council president, Momobami Kirari, gracefully slid out of the glossy black car she arrived in every morning, but this time, with a catch. She held her hand back out to the open car door, and to the surprise of those who cared enough to pay attention, a hand emerged to grasp it.

Another girl slid out of the leather car seat behind Kirari and even after the chauffeur closed the door and returned to his seat to drive away, the girl’s hand remained with Kirari’s as they walked towards the school gates. Though she was wearing the school’s uniform, no one recognized the girl at all. A new student perhaps? And already in the claws of the president, poor thing.

“Good morning, President!” Sayaka greeted her at the front gate as she did every morning, then with less enthusiasm and a smidge of bitterness, she greeted the other girl as well, “Good morning, (Y/n). Welcome to Hyakkaou.”

“Thank you, Sayaka. Good to see you again.” (Y/n) smiled earnestly.

Of course Sayaka seemed to know what was going on. Though Kirari had a vexing mysteriousness about her, no one was more suited, nor dedicated enough to chip her way through than Sayaka. Though even she would say she only knew the tip of the iceberg when it came to Kirari. Although she did know a lot more than the average person, including the fact that Kirari had been betrothed to (Y/n) before either of them had even been born, something about dangerous business deals and complicated Bami Clan traditions for the family head.

Until recently, it was forbidden for the arranged couple to even be seen together in public until the Honebami family had disposed of all the threats. This would be the joining of two very important and influential families after all. Many contracts and a stupid amount of money was hedging on this union.

Now with all possible usurpers and hired guns sinking to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the couple was given more freedom to do as they pleased which Kirari promptly took advantage of by helping (Y/n) transfer to Hyakkaou.

“President, I have tea warming in the student council room should you like a cup before the morning meeting begins.”

Kirari hummed thoughtfully, tilting her head towards (Y/n), “Would you care to come for tea, my dear? At the very least it would be a good way to meet the rest of the council.”

“Sounds good to me!” Came the chipper response.

Most of the student council was already loitering about the room doing their own thing, but seeing a new face joining the President had piqued the interest of a few members.

“Ooo, who’s this, Kirari?” Runa asked around a mouthful of cherry hard candies. She had only barely glanced up before returning her eyes to the colorful screen in front of her.

“This is my fiancée, (Y/n). She will be joining us for the remainder of our last year. It would have been preferable if we could have shared more of our school days together, but such is life.”

“Better than nothing.” (Y/n) smiled, giving Kirari’s hand a quick squeeze.

“No way, fiancée?” Yumemi gasped. “When did this happen? I’ve been so out of the loop!”

“This union was predetermined by fate and the stars before we even existed.” Kirari colorfully explained, taking her seat at the front of the table, almost dragging (Y/n) down with her, but she declined to sit in Kirari’s lap. Kirari gave a low hum of disappointment.

“It was a high stakes arranged marriage.” (Y/n) corrected. “It wasn’t safe for us to be in public together until recently. For a time, the less people who knew about it, the better.”

“Oh, okay. I know a thing or two about paparazzi myself,” Yumemi flipped her hair over her shoulder, “They just gobble relationship gossip up.”

It was a little more involved than paparazzi, but neither Kirari nor (Y/n) cared enough to get into it.

“Well, it’s good to be meeting you now.” Yuriko chimed in, fidgeting a bit nervously in her seat, “Will you be joining the council?”

“Wouldn’t that be interesting.” Kirari spoke first, “Although… there aren’t any seats open, are there? Not now that I let Sumeragi in due to her father’s generous contributions. Would you give up your spot, Yuriko?”

Yuriko flinched. Why had she opened her mouth at all?! She couldn’t lose her place on the council! Her lip wobbled and she tried to speak, but fortunately, (Y/n) saved her.

“Don’t be mean, Kirari,” she gave Yuriko a reassuring look, “Don’t worry, student government isn’t my thing.”

“Oh…” Yuriko visibly relaxed in her seat, making Runa and Midari laughed.

“I’ll just come by to hang out. You guys can just pretend I’m not even here.”

“Already on it.” Kaede grumbled, clacking away at his laptop.

“Then perhaps keep your mouth closed, Manyuda. If that is truly your intent.” Kirari warned, eyeing the treasurer over the rim of her tea cup.

“Spooky, Prez!” Midari grinned, “I’ve never seen your puffy sleeves get ruffled so easily before.”

“Let’s all just simmer down.” (Y/n) took the seat between Kirari and Ririka, resting a hand on Kirari’s thigh. Kirari’s demeanor returned to normal with a single lazy blink. (Y/n) turned her attention to Ririka next.

Though Kirari had explained to her that Ririka was supposed to be the mysterious vice president until the proper time, whatever that meant, she still wanted acknowledge her soon to be sister-in-law anyway.

“Good morning.” She greeted with a quick wink.

Ririka smiled beneath her mask and gave a nod in return. Shortly after, Itsuki came running in just before the meeting was set to start. Frazzled, the girl looked for an extra chair. (Y/n) offered hers up.

“I should look around the school and find my classroom anyway.” She told Kirari, “Good luck with your schemes!”

“Schemes,” Kirari smiled, amused, “Really now?”

“Yes, schemes.” (Y/n) affirmed. She wasn’t blind to this whole house pet racket Kirari had going on, but growing up in the families that they did, she hardly batted an eye. “See you in class.”

Because of course Kirari made sure they would be in the same third year Hana class. Though Kirari would have rather her stay to help ease the boredom the meeting would surely bring, she let (Y/n) go explore.

“Are you sure you should let her just wander around? She is new…” Yuriko tentatively spoke up against her better judgment.

“Yeah, wouldn’t that be something if your girlfriend became a house pet while your back was turned?” Midari cackled and leaned back in her chair. “A nice girl like that will be sniffed out and ripped apart in no time.”

Kirari giggled resting her knuckles beneath her chin. Looking at her in just the right light, one would see a wild glint in those arctic ice eyes.

“Do you think so?” She asked.

“Yumeko, it was just a stupid rumor. You look like an idiot!” Mary hissed, pulling Yumeko away from the stairwell wall she was bent over, looking down for a sign of the president and her mysterious guest.

“Oh, it’s no rumor, Mary. It is one hundred percent factual that Kirari and her betrothed were recently given the green light to be in public together. It was such a big secret, that many of the family branches didn’t even know about it! Knowing Kirari, I would bet that with the restrictions lifted, she enrolled her fiancée to our school.”

“And what of it? Why do you care?” Mary crossed her arms, back stiff, annoyed that she had to follow Yumeko around all morning.

“It’s simple,” Mary swore she saw a glint of red in Yumeko’s eyes, “I want to gamble with her!”

“That’s so dumb,” Mary scoffed, but then, she reconsidered.

Actually, this could be good… If they could win a high stakes gamble against Kirari’s fiancée and make a house pet of her… that would surely get a rise out of the aloof tyrant masquerading as a student council president, right?

“You know what, count me in.”

“Yay, Mary!”

“Don’t touch me!”

“I could have sworn it was supposed to be on this floor… oh dear.”

Mary and Yumeko paused their little scuffle to stare at the girl who just passed them by. The way she checked every room placard as she walked cemented the fact that she just had to be new.

“Excuse me,” Yumeko wasted no time slipping in beside the girl, “are you lost?”

“Yes,” the girl sighed, relieved at the prospect of a helping hand, “I’m looking for the third year Hana classroom. Could you help me?”

“That’ll be easy enough,” Mary chimed in, “We’ll take you there.”

“Thank you guys so much. I’m (Y/n) by the way.”

“I’m Yumeko and this is Mary, nice to meet you!”

They shared a bit of small talk as they climbed the stairs to the third floor. When they reached the correct classroom, (Y/n) thanked them both.

“Thank you both for the escort. I’d love to give you a favor in return sometime.”

“You may be able to fill that favor in right now, actually,” Yumeko circled, finally stopping behind (Y/n) to drape her arms over her shoulders in a loose hug, “You are Kirari’s fiancée, right?”

“Yup, that’s me,” she chuckled, slipping out of Yumeko’s arms, “feels weird to get to tell people that now. Anyway, what’s the favor?”

“Mary and I want to gamble with you!”

“A gamble, with me?”

“Yes,” Mary came to stand beside Yumeko, trapping (Y/n) between them and the wall, “gambling is a big part of how this school functions. But you probably know that given whose circles you run in.” Mary tried to keep the bitterness out of her voice. Though (Y/n) seemed nice on the surface, she was still betrothed to Kirari who was by far the worst person Mary knew. (Y/n) could be just as deranged.

“Wow,” (Y/n) audibly exhaled, “an invitation already. Well, when in Rome, as the saying goes. Game of choice and stakes?”

“You’ll really do it?” Yumeko was practically foaming at the mouth, but (Y/n) didn’t bat an eye.

“Well, I have a favor to repay, don’t I?”

“Why don’t we take this to the library then.” Mary suggested.

(Y/n) soon found herself being ushered away from the classroom she had been searching for and into a library study room turned gambling den. Yumeko gave her an excited smile.

“Why don’t you pick the game, (Y/n). Then we may discuss the stakes…”

Sayaka had only left the student council room for a moment and already she had heard the most disturbing rumor. Jabami Yumeko, demon, Antichrist, what have you, had slithered up to (Y/n) like the snake she was and proposed a gamble!

Now, Sayaka’s feelings on (Y/n) had been… not so good in the past when she had first discovered the arrangement, but the girl had wormed her way into her heart, giving her the more direct praise and validation that Kirari was so stingy with. It also probably helped that she introduced Sayaka to her current therapist who in turn hooked Sayaka up with some really top tier medication.

Needless to say, the moment she heard (Y/n) and Yumeko’s name in the same sentence, she was bursting back into the student council room and falling over herself to tell Kirari.

“Really now?” Kirari rose from her chair, an easy smile spread across her blue stained lips. “This meeting can be picked up at a later date. I hope they haven’t started yet.”

“Are you going to stop them, President?” Sayaka asked hopefully.

“Oh Sayaka, of course not. I wish to observe.”

“Nyahahaha!” Runa laughed, “Alright, my interest is piqued too. Let’s see how the new girl holds against Yumeko.”

“Yumekooo!” Midari wailed, “I gotta see too!”

A majority of the council was curious and chose to follow Kirari and Sayaka through the halls, students parting like the Red Sea when they saw them coming. A frightening sight to behold. They sauntered into the library, found the correct study room, and crowded inside. Seating around the table, Yumeko had a crazed excitement about her, Mary was looking pale, and (Y/n) had her back to the new arrivals.

“Saotome is involved too? Oh, what a treat.” Kirari observed, “You couldn’t have found a better pair to test your gambling mettle against. Having fun, darling?”

(Y/n) slowly turned in her seat to look back at the invading council members and all but Kirari shuddered under her gaze and chilling smile. Apparently, (Y/n) was a pretty good match for Kirari after all. Though she seemed like a normal, easy-going girl on the surface, she could actually be quite vicious.

“Oh yeah, I’m having a great time. Yumeko and Mary put up quite a fight, but I think they are at the end of their rope.”

And sure enough, when the cards were cast to the table, (Y/n)’s were the highest possible combination, knocking both Mary and Yumeko’s out of the game.

“No…” Mary whispered, clenching her fists.

“We lost!” Yumeko’s heart was pounding, excited to hear exactly what it was she would be losing.

Before the game began, each girl had written down what they would make the others wager. Now was the moment of truth, what had (Y/n) forced Mary and Yumeko to wager.

“What have we lost, (Y/n), show us! I can’t wait another second!” Yumeko begged.

“Okayyyy,” (Y/n) peeled up a corner of the paper agonizingly slow and flipped it over. Mary and Yumeko leaned in to read, finding that they both owed… absolutely nothing. “There it is. You’re welcome. Try to mess with me like that again however, and I may not be so forgiving.”

Mary fell back against her chair, to emotionally exhausted to even feel relieved, while Yumeko slumped into her chair in disappointment.

“Well, it’s been nice meeting you, but I should to get ready for class. Kirari,” (Y/n) turned to face her, looking much more unassuming than she had a few moments ago, “walk with me?”

“Always, but let’s go somewhere more exciting.”

The couple exited the study room together, leaving everyone behind in various states of shock.

“This is where we differ most. You could have taken them for all they had and more. I don’t know exactly what Yumeko was hoping for beyond a gamble, but Mary surely wanted to take everything from you.” Kirari pondered as they walked.

“I just don’t see the appeal. I’d feel bad taking from people who didn’t know what they were getting themselves into.”

“Ah, but they should have known. You are my fiancée after all.”

“I guess you have a point.“ (Y/n) shrugged.

The couple made their way to the roof of the school and took off in Kirari’s private helicopter while rumors that the student council president and her fiancée were not as different as they initially seemed, spread. Not when it came to their gambling prowess anyway.

"Life Plan..." He whispered and you nodded. He took that to open it and start to read it, he can't help but to feel disgusted to what he is reading. So this is what Kirari do to those you can't pay their debts? It's sickening. "Marriage? Birth? This is disgusting, what a sick plan." he throw them back to you.

"I know right?! Like I already said that I would only make myself troublesome so the man on the list can finally let me go but Runa-chan said to me that they would force me!" I pout and right now you still have 130M¥ remaining debt. "Since I am limited to who I should gamble with. It's hard to make money in games and that is my only source of income. I can't trouble my mom!" you put them back in your chest.

You already reject his swindlous offer, but he still kept pestering you every break, lunch and after school hours!! You suppose to be gambling, make your way to survive your housepet status!

"It's not like I don't, I just don't see the goods for it." You honestly told him. He smiled, you are so honest with him and you are always frank, you're good with reasonings and never lie about your reasons, however, you are hard to swindle despite being so honest

"My father left us with some random chick, it's just only me and My Mother. Mother owns a ramen stall near school. You probably won't like it since you're rich. Ugh rich people." You stick out your tongue and pretended to be disgusted.

Good laugh, since your father left your Mom after he met that rich ass bitch.

"It's fine. It's not like it will do something if I get sad over it." You assured him. You don't know if he's lying about being so sorry about it. You hope that he won't lie anything about this, but who knows? You definetely can't trusts a swindler like him. Oh yeah, he always laugh at your stories whenever you tell him about your pranks and mocking people here. He always find it amusing on how you manage to survive this school. "Yeah, Obami is lazying out instead of helping you. Your boss is lazy as fudge." I roasted and Rin pout.

"Hehe~ I don't really mind, L/n-san."

Rin is gamblimg with the Vice President and you feel relief because you now have a time to gamble. Rin is very clingy. He even convinced you to call him in his first name and introduced you to the other branch of the family.

You get along with Yumi a lot more since everyone is a lot more tought and serious when they started to discuss the reason why are they here. So whenever the discuss something that is really serious, both you and Yumi would try make it atleast to ease them all up. You get along with Rei too and share your ramen recipe to him.

Yumi always question you about your relationship with Rin and you just smiled and never gave her a definitive answer since you, yourself is also confuse why Rin keeps you around. Even the President asks you often whenever you come at her for updates regarding the life plan.

"I see so you also pranked him and he tried to persuade you into these scumcoins." You nodded and Kirari giggled. Kirari always think that you are very confusing... Despite being devoured you continue to swim around and hang on tight. You survived her aquarium far more than she anticipated.

The sun will shortly set. And you saw Rin walking down the hallway, talking with Ibara shortly he saw you and asks Ibara if he can give the two of you a private time alone, Ibara agreed, they seem alright, did they won? He looks in your eyes and you giggled.

"Well... I lost the 200 votes." And you giggled. You saw his frown. "And I got de-facto out of the election." he told you what happened and how his pride was crushed in oblivion by Ririka. But even after that huge lost...

You can sense that, he's alright with it. You chuckled.

"You sound like you're fine staying in hell..."

"Absolutely." He said and you smiled. "I did the best I could, and to think that Ibara have forgiven me and accepted me and my illegal ways, that put me into rest."

"You know what, let's get you something to eat. Do you wanna eat at my Mother's ramen stall? I swear it's good. It's probably not as good as what you usually eat-"

"I have something to confess, Y/n..." Your eyes blink and you look at him. Your heart is beating so fast but he smiled cockily. "I asks Rei to make it for me when I found out you shared the ramen recipe."

"That's not even a big issue, Rin." You rolled your eyes and he laugh.

Your heart feel like it will expload so suddenly. He said that to your face and he genuinely wanted to try them, you can't see a hint of lie or pretentiousness in his voice and expression. He... Genuinely excited about eating your family's signiture dish. And it made you smile, happy.

"At this hour the stall is now close but... We can go straight ahead to our Apartment." you informed him and he smiled while nodding in a fast way. The excitement on his eyes never cease and the way he walks to the way he speaks.

"is this your boyfriend Y/n?!" The moment Rin introduce himself to your mother, this is the immediate question she did asks you. Your mother smiled warmly at him while asking him to take a seat on your small living room.

You try to control your expression but the heat on your face rose up and immediately decline.

"Hahahue, It's not my boyfriend. He's a..." You hesitate to said who he is since it's the first time you introduce someone as your Friend. "He's a friend of mine."

"Oh? You've been studying there for quite sometime. You just got a friend?" I knew she would question you immediately.

"Y/n prank me on my first day of school and we became friends." You blushed even more when Rin told your mother how the two of you interacted.

"So she still haven't let go her few old habits." Your mother rose a brow at you.

"Mom we didn't came in here for that..."

Your mother scold you and threatened you to spank your butt when Rin leaves the house, you pout while Rin is just trying to control his laugh. You glared at him. Then your mom asks Rin if he already ate dinner and he shook his head. So your mom prepared a meal for the both of you.

Surprisingly, your mom get alomg with him... Perfectly. You just watch the two of them while Mom told him how hard-headed you are while she started to cut some vegetables for the Ramen. You start to do the noodles yourself. While Rin just watch you and listen to your Mother.

"Now I know where you got your talkative traits." Rin whispered and held your waist! You flinch and shake your shoulder.

"Rin, space." you whispered back... Because you can feel his hot air that he's releasing as he whisper in your ear! It's making you flustered and it's ticklish! He watch how you knead the noodle dough.

While your mother make the broth. He didn't put his hand away from your waist. He comfortably wrapped his arms around it as he watch your hand. He keep laughing at your mother's story.

You were very glad your mother is cutting vegetables, you're facing her bareback while you knead the dough in the table. So you're mother is turning her back on both of you.

Rin is very flingy indeed. You thought, while flattening the dough until it's thin enough. But this is the first time he hugged me like this. He just usually held your hand in the hallway, have tea with you during breaks. Always fetch you after class.

Always looking forward with your stories, and keep you away from trouble. Or needless to say... He only wants you to prank him. You tried to push him away by pranking him more but it didn't work. Always attempt to devour you with his lies but it didn't also work well.

You may not say this often but, you do want him to make it feel how to have a peace of mind, how to be happy despite being in a hardship situation, because frankly, that's how poor people survive. He works hard like anyone else from his family and that's good already, he doesn't need to exert too much effort to be the best all the time. You saw that with your own eyes.

"I'll keep that one in mind." He whispered and then you saw the car came and the window went down to see Ibara. Rin smiled at you and nodded. "The ramen is so delicious. I'll come by again for sure."

After that, he felt great, although he's hiding from his costumers specially to whoever wanna cash out their scumcoin. A real swindler indeed. "YOU CRUEL BASTARD! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO MY MOM! MOTHER DID EVERYTHING SHE COULD TO SAVE THAT MONEY! GIVE IT BACK! GIVE THE MONEY BACK!!!" Your tears starts to flow and in the first time, Rin felt furious. Those angry tears, never belong in your expression. And yet your own father swindle and scam you.

"THAT MONEY BELONG TO MY MOTHER! She needs it..." your voice is dying out as you went on your knees. "P-please... Hahaue is dying... She needs that money..." Rin tried to grabbed you and glared at the man infront of you.

At the end you were kicked out of the building, and you haven't stopped crying. Rin tried to comfort you but you keep on looking at the huge building infront of you...

"Y-y/n-" he hugged you. He never felt bad for anything. But you... You work hard and yet... How could some other people just go and ruin and step on you. He felt furious... Suddenly he remember this company. He kept on rubbing your back as you cry on his shoulder, he carried you to the car.

"T-that money... H-how could he d-do that..." soon you stopped talking and Ibara kept on looking at Rin from the rear mirror simce his face is so dark from madness. Although his gentle touch on your skin made you doze off.

"Ibara, contact my father." Rin has a wicked smiled on his face. He'll make sure that these people will suffer for the rest of their lives.

"Y/n..." You woke up and he helps you sat up, but the joy on your face wasn't there. He know to himself that he swindle a lot of people, but not like what your Father did to you and your Mom. "A-about your father-"

"There's no point into getting dramatic, Igarashi is still buying votes right now. I'll sell these five." You stand up and tried to prepare but Rin stopped you. You just got up, you didn't even eat anything.

"Calm down, please." Rin tried to persuade you and you stop to look at him. "Try to get yourself something, first. I also heard from someone Igarashi has no funds left, and trying to gamble to earn votes instead."

"Calm down first. Terano and the rest of the family talked and... We decided to come up for our last card." Rin told you about his plan to use the Scumcoin again to gain votes, just transfering the entire rate to Kirari's vote count.

"I have more plans." Rin whispered. Ibara look at Terano who sigh. "Y/n won't accept any help from me, because to her, it will only hold me back. However, I can help her in other way where she can accept. I'll use our current plan to raise the price of the votes. I can bet that Sayaka Igarashi would borrow money from the Academy's treasury."

"But what if we ended up winning." Terano asks and Rin sigh. He knows very well what kind of risk he's going to deal with but this his work to begin with. And Rin's priority is Y/n and only her.

"I'll pay out to her."

Terano sigh. There is no point stopping Rin once he focused on something.

"I wanna make everyone suffer for stepping on her. I want her to be my wife and queen, And i'll punish everyone who will act hostile towards her." Ibara gulp and Rin smirked. The Obami family is really something, they are considered as the secomd devious family in the entire clan. And they are never called devious for nothing. "So first, I'll scam their company. And I will make sure that they will never be able to stand again."

"Then second, while your father do his thing outside the Academy, you and Terano would work together, use the Scumcoin to swindle the entire Student Body again. Except Y/n." Ibara said and Rin nodded. The thing here is, they are not only trying to defeat Sayaka Igarashi, it's also Kirari. But there is no guaranteed that the other side won't win too.

"I know this Academy probably have 250 Billion to 300 Billion in their treasury. It already came into my mind before... And since this Vote Buying War started, I kinda want to stirr things up. "I-itsuki!! Tone your voice down!!"

"But that's true!" she shouted quietly. "Besides, Rin will mever help you like this, if he doesn't love you.." She said and you blushed even more. It suddenly feels extremely hot even though the whole cafeteria is air conditioned.

But it did make sense. You held your hand in your chest.

"B-but I am afraid to approach him. And I feel anxious." You whispered and you look at Sumeragi. "He probably avoiding me now since he will leave the Academy." She looks at you weirdly.

Itsuki sigh and she was about to say something but the bell rang, perfect timing since you were about to cry in any seconds. You suddenly miss him. You stand up and ran in the bathroom. And decided to skip class to go somewhere in the Academy, hoping for Ikishima not to caught you but you suddenly remembered about the Life Plan.

You gulp and look at the floor.

"Ah... L/n-san. What brings you here?" You look at Sayaka and you quickly went to her. You ignored Rin and the rest who did the same however, Ibara's face is distorted. Like he's guilty or something.

"We are busy to settle matters, The election just ended, so we are not accepting payments about the debt, we will announce when we will be collecting them." She response calmly and she proceed. "About the life plan, maybe there will be some changes." but why your pet tag was also withdrawn and you're the only one who doesn't have a pet tag among all the House Pets.

Your name was also removed from top list.

"Please proceed to your class." She said but you smirked.

"Oh no. I'll skip. Bleh." You stick up your tongue and ran in the hallway.

In the end, your debt was paid and your pet tag was retreived. But your life plan was bought by him.

"You can't get her out of this school. Y/n just barely started highschool. That's our agreement." Then Kirari get the lifeplan from Sayaka and open it.

"If Y/n asks you about it, keep it a secret." So That's why Sayaka told you a very good lie.

"After all the strings you pulled? You're going to back out now?!" Terano shouted at Rin. Terano can't believe how this idiot is acting upon Y/n. After all the stun he pulled all for the sake of that lady.

"I am not backing out! I just feel nervous!!"

"You..." Her face scrunched in annoyance. "I don't even wanna say it." It just feels ridiculous how this person is feeling nervous about saying his true feelings for her. Or maybe because he is born a liar so admiting something true is not in his character. That's why Terano shut up. "Don't waste your time, you are upsetting her." That is all she just said and nodded at Yumi.

Rin knows that she's very upset for avoiding her but it just feels like his heart is going to get out from his chest just by thinking what he did behind her back.

Terano is just mad right now because he's chickening out after he spend money all for her sake. Her debt is paid all because of him. He feel like she won't agree to this. But he... He likes her so much. Because no matter what kind of tempting situation he gives, she never bite. For the first time, he failed his duty as a Swindler.

You are walking down the hallway when you but as soon as you turn your left, you bump into someone and it hit your wonded forehead. You yelped in pain as you tried to fix your patch.

You look up to see a pair of purple eyes that you quickly stand up as you pretended that nothing happened however he grabbed your arm to stop you.

"What happened to your face?" He said and look at you. You kept your mouth shut. You've been hiding on him, ever since that talk you had with your Itsuki and the others, you just stay somewhere else, to the place that he barely visit or staying in.

However he didn't like your silence. "Y/n.." as always, he would found out about it wether you tell him or not, you asks Itsuki to never spill a word about your condition. But he manage to find out about it anyways.

"It... Shouldn't concern you." You whispered, well you felt very very embarrassed about saying that word, after everything he'd done for you. You missed him so much but what's the point of getting him involve in your life if he's avoiding you?

But those expression. His madness is visible in his eyes, you can totally see that.

"Even if you tell me or not, I have ways to find out." He said to you. Almost like threatening you. You look away, however he kept on touching your swollen cheeks. Your mother would be put in to prison, she doesn't even have an ounce of idea what kind of mess she was put into. Rin hugged you, putting his hand on your head and the other hand is in your back, rubbing it tenderly

"Haha. I was just avoiding you for days, and yet you were in another trouble... Seriously, Y/n..." You didn't listen as you continue to sobbed in his chest. "There's no one controlling you... Hmm?" Everybody do have weakness... And he already assumed that your Mother is involve to it. He knew you, you loved your Mom dearly, and that is the only reason why are you crying right now.

"I don't know. I was accused of defrauding the Company that my Father work into." When you said that he was stunned to the point and bit his lips. "Nobody from the Lawfirm in the City wanted to take my Case, My Father probably pulled some strings-"

"I'll take care of your Lawyer. Let's burn his cash, assets and properties. And let's see how far they would go." Your eyes widened. He's going to help you again and you won't let him this time!

"Why are you always doing things for me?!" You shouted and he look at you. You mever shouted at him like this. "I always asks you why! Is this fun to you? I hate it, that I have to be so curious what have I done. And you know what, Rin? I am only like this to you!"

All you want is an answer from him, an answer why! So you would stop hoping too that he loves you as well. That if only you're rich as him, you would help him to achieve his goal and rule over his family... But all you could give is, his comfort and peace that is even a bare minimum, compare to what he do for you and your mother.

You hate this... You hate this so much that you can't even do something useful for him.

"I miss you so much! And I want answers from you! I want a closure between us! Because this, this is ridiculous! Because I kept on hoping! Hoping that you love me too!" You've been hoping all this time... hoping that everything would fall into right places at the right time. That everything would be alright, in this school, everything is decided in gambling. He felt... mixxed feelings, he felt sorry for all your frustrations, that he's making you upset and bothered.

Those broken sobs turn intl silent breath, those force coming from your hands that trying to push him away turn meek and slowly giving up in to putting distance between the two of you. He took the opportunity to comfort you as he completely wrapped his arms around your frail body.

"I'm sorry." He would let you hit him until you felt enough if that would earn him your forgiveness, losing you is not in his option. "I don't want to keep you stalling." He doesn't know how to start admiting his own revelations either.

You didn't spoke. So he continue.

"I don't wanna upset you, gods knows how much I missed you, Y/n-" He suddenly stopped talking when he felt your entire weight in his arms. And yelp as he tried to catch you in his arms. You passed out suddenly out of weakness. "SHIT."

"Thank you, Miss." Ibara was the one who thanked the nurse, Rin didn't even spare her a glance however his ears were all up. Y/n's health is going downhill. He doesn't know what to think or who to blame. He just want your normal self back in his arms. He held your hand and kiss your knuckles. The door closed.

"I heard she's all stressed because she can't find a lawyer who wanted to accept her case. Given the situation, that she got 500 Million Yen so suddenly became a huge evidence to press charges." Ibara said and Terano is just listening. "She's underage, so they press charge to a disabled person instead."

Y/n slowly have her own conciousness, she can feel her limbs, her control at the tips of her fingers. She slowly open her eyes. Where am I? What happened? Where's Hahaue?

She felt a hand that holds her firmly. She looks at her right side to see the sight that made her heart beat so much. She blink her eyes to see if she is still hallucinating or dreaming but it was indeed him.

Tears build up in her eyes. "R-rin." She said in a meek voice. He was there, exhausted, and looks so worn out.

How many days has it been? The last time she remember is that, he said sorry.

Those two words rang in her head as if it is what her heart desire the most. As if her entire body system has been waiting for his words of apology.

"Obami..." she called him. His body was so tired and stress, from so much work and worries to her mom, to her father's ruthless behavior, to Rin's unusual avoidance towards her after he helped her.

Her tears won't stop. Why is he here? What is he doing? Those question lingers in her head as she pour all her tears out.

She felt so many emotions that driven her to cry more. She felt happy and sad, she felt relief yet frustrated. Even herself does not know how can one feel so messed up.

But a hand cupped her face to wipe her tears, her irises met the blue ones, there is only one thing that matters.

"I'm here..." he is there with her no matter what. "Use me, take me, anything, Y/n... Nothing matters anymore."

"R-rin..." She felt conflicted, she does not want to risk on being associated with Rin. For someone like her, for someone who did nothing in her life but to be fair and truthful... She feels conflicted to be with someone who did nothing but injustice and lies for a living.

"Do not fret, everyone will pay for the damage they have caused you." He said and smiled warmly at her. He does not look down at her for being vulnerable, he does not mind seeing her being a human. "Even I, will pay for what happen to you." He whispered and all she could do I cry.

Ship It! for Kakegurui?

I think the way this is supposed to work is that you send me a ship then I give my thoughts on it, but fuck it this works too.

The ship I will be detailing my thoughts on is Kirasaya, as in Momobami Kirari x Igarashi Sayaka!

(Disclaimer, I've only watched the anime so take my opinion with a grain of salt)

What made you ship it?

Throughout the entirety of season 1 I kept fucking hoping that Kirari would get her shit together and actually knowledge her feelings for Sayaka (if she actually had them) and stop letting the poor girl live in doubt. Then came season 2, and the Tower of Doors, and let me tell you I literally fucking cheered and fist-bumped the air at the end. That was the turning point from "Ehhhhh" to "Full speed ahead, next stop yuri town".

What are your favorite things about the ship?

The fact that Kirari is basically an absolutely fucking insane chaos gremlin who couldn't even confess to her crush without pulling a massively elaborate stunt that must have cost her millions to arrange and construct. And Sayaka, smitten angel that she is, is 100% there for it. She loves this fucking lunatic. Yeah, she probably should sit Kirari down and explain to her that fucking with her head like that IS NOT OKAY, but I believe in these messy bitches. They can make it work.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

It's much more boring when it's interpreted as a toxic relationship. Like, you're stripping away the layers that make them interesting when you just turn it into "manipulative psychopath takes advantage of naive lovestruck fool". Like, in my completely subjective opinion, that shit just doesn't work. EDIT: Clarified some wording.

Physical Appreciation: A(nother) fan comic

You can't tell me that Kirari doesn't skip class to admire Sayaka from afar. This weirdo can't even ask for a hug properly, but she sure does love her secretary.

You can't tell me Ririka (post election) isn't playful and a funny older sister to Kirari. Or that she doesn't also get where Kirari is coming from after seeing Mary in her track uniform.

Mostly wanted to draw Sayaka showing off her martial arts skills and a Midari x Sayaka broship that I adore but it snowballed like many of my projects into something larger.
