Deshi wasn’t sure how in the hell he ended up in this situation. Well, that’s a lie. He knew. He had to get close to a target that was in witness protection which meant he had to be in it as well just so he could figure things out. Pulling some strings under the governments nose, he was easily put into the program and now was living less than a few minutes away from his target.

What he wasn’t expecting was to be put in Witness Protection and get stuck with the cover of being married. It put a kink in his plans but he wasn’t going to let it stop him. He huffed softly and couldn’t help but grin at the male’s excitement about the prospect. “So I guess you’re at least bi? Because having to pretend to be married to another guy would be a little awkward if you didn’t even swing toward the other team sometimes.”

Deshi was, to say the least, surprised that Annabelle happened to be at the airport the same time as him. Not only that but her flight was one of the many that were cancelled and rescheduled. Of course, he was a little glad about having his feet on solid ground for a little longer but all the hotels in the area were filling up quickly. Somehow that meant that he and Anna had to share a room.

Huffing out a laugh as he tossed his bag onto the queen mattress, he turned around to look her over skeptically. “You keep showing up at places like this and I’m going to start thinking you’re following me around, Anna. You miss me?”

Deshi hated flying in general but somehow Derek had convinced him to take a flight to meet this pack to create a treaty instead of just driving. The Kitsune could have driven there within the night but of course the Alpha thought it was a better idea to fly. Maybe it was bad luck or good luck that their flight was canceled. Unfortunately, it meant that the two of them had to share a hotel room and a bed.

Groaning at seeing the small queen bed that they got, he tossed his bag on the chair in the corner of the room. "Alright. So how are we going to do this, Derbear? We cuddling or sleeping feet to head? I could try and call for a bunk to be brought up and I'll sleep there. I just want to figure this out so I can go get a drink and smoke."

Character Development: Hardmode meme

1. Deshi doesn't have anyone in a similar age group. Kira is his only sibling and they are 8 years apart. Now that's who he's close to and would do anything for her.

2. Let's start with what "was" his relationship like with Noshiko then go from there. Since he was the firstborn, Noshiko gave him the attention and love that anyone would give their first child along with being strict. Even after Kira was born, Deshi loved his mother and he knew that his mother loved him even if sometimes she could be harsh.

Presently, there is no relationship between them. After Noshiko had dropped him off with Yua after the incident with Kira, there was little to no contact. When she finally told and threatened him not to find his family again any leftover love for his mother was lost. Now he just has resentment towards how she had handled her children coming into their powers and how horrible she raised Kira (or just kept her locked up if you prefer.)

FOX HEADCANON;

Upon first look, you can tell that Deshi takes care of his body. He works out every day, sometimes multiple times of the day, without fail. What he tells people is that he keeps up with the training for his job but there are other reasons.

When Deshi lived with Yua, she had instilled the idea of routine in his life for years. He didn't start putting real effort in it until after things happened with his ex. Yes, staying in shape helps with his job but it also pulls attention away from his scars. He learned that if he stayed in shape that his physique would be the first thing someone looks at instead of the one thing he can't change or hide completely, his scar.

Despite how he relies on his physical attractiveness to take away attention from his scar, he never is without a shirt around people he doesn't know due to the burn taking over the majority of his back. He will allow people to touch beneath the shirt as long as they stay away from his back and neck but he is never completely exposed.

Unless he truly feels comfortable and cares for someone then he will be willing to be completely naked since he doesn't fear judgement. If Deshi is ever shirtless in your presence then that's his way of saying that he trusts you and no one should take that for granted.
