Their physical weak spots

Penelope is a character who is very agile rather than phsyically strong. She will fight with a jar of jam, and struggle with heavy items. But this is why you have magic, to make your life easier. You can only spend so much time with such small things.

Kitty is also agile, but a bit more physically strong as well. It is probably due to her continious involvement in sport and that she actually works out on a regular basis. Though Kitty’s big physical weak-spot would perhaps be that she is very concerned about her appearance? She always wants to look good, and strives to achieve this.

Their emotional/moral weak spots

Penelope is a very strong, effervescent, delightful and loud person. But in turn this leaves her very emotionally voulnerable. If she puts her heart in the hands of the wrong person, or if she puts her trust with someone who didn’t really deserve it. In the aftermath she is very devestated and has a hard time forgiving them. She does carry grudges, for ages and ages, and it takes time for her to heal again.

Kitty’s big emotional/moral weakspot, is the moral greyzone. The world is more than black and white and Kitty knows this. People aren’t just good and bad. They are far much more. She is far better than Penelope at traversing in the social rules and aspects of life, and although harrying herself with class and confidence, she is generally cunning, and a bit distrustful. Her biggest weakness would perhaps be that she has some real difficulties letting people in. It makes it hard to keep true friendships, and leaves her feeling lonely sometimes.

Scars or painful spots 

Penelope has a few scars from childhood playtime, much like Kitty. They were rowdy children and only had brothers so it could get pretty messy and rhough. Mudslinging, quidditch, magic…. Though Penelope’s most memorable scar for her, was one she got during the first wizard war. When attempting to save a group of wizard from death-eaters. They lived, she got a bad cut on her leg. Luckily is quite pale and after years of healing and some creams and magic, it is barely visisble.

Kitty has a few sore spots. One being a somewhat wonky elbow. After years of sports it is only natural get a few sports-related injuries. Wear and tear really. Though with godo care and training she does alright. She also has a scar from the first war as well. Where she fought off a couple of werewolves, whilst assisting children to safety. The scar,luckily was not from the werewolf, but instead cause she tripped over a rather large boulder and ended up hitting her hand pretty hard.

Guilty pleasures 

I think the sisters share a lot of guilty pleasures. Reading smut-books. Wine. Occasionall sauce gossip. Even as grown ups it is fun. Both know it is jus that, gossip. They are also investagatory by nature. So they should probably both have been detectives or aurors.  Kitty likes a night out on town more, while Penny prefers a more quiet dinner with friends and alcohol type of solution.

Things they’ll never admit

Penelope has big issues admitting when she is very fond of someone (see: being in love) she doesn’t know how to handle being in love very well. Doesn’t know what to say. Feels like a ripe idiot when she tries and has sort of just thrown in the towel on dealing with dating-life.

Kitty: Kitty is a more complex woman in many ways. SHe , since she is who she is, and works with what she works with, and has the ocnnection she does. There are plenty of things she has done, or others have done, that she may never speak of. It can be due to their private nature to others, or that they have been mildly criminal. She is however a good woman and a good person and will never hold back anything that’s hurtful or terrible towards others.

People who’ve influenced them greatly 

This one I think has several layers. I picture both the girls heavily influenced by their female role-models. Strong women. Survivors. Not all magical. They taught them well and they given them good perspectives on life and other people.

Penelope is also more inspired by the subtle, under the radar tactics. A bit more passive,a  bit more quiet, despite her loud persona. It throws people off and most people don’t know what happened until it is far too late.

Kitty is more ‘all business’ about such things, but also subtle. Know how to play the field and the rules. Bend them, twist them, pull them. And she does it well. She is a helluva person to stand across if you challenge her.

Regress ( Penny ) from Kitty

Loud children’s laughter could be heard throughout the area. Two girls laughing and giggling. One taller than the other. Both with red curly locks of hair. As fiery as the sun itself. The garden was lush in summer. Flowers in all sorts of colours and kinds were blossoming in the face of the sun. Sky above was blue. It truly was summer.

And what did children do in summer. Magical children? Witches to be? They were flying brooms. Zooming by the window, upside down was brightest, most curly carrot top. Her arms out to the sides, as she shrieked out to her younger sister.

“-Look!!! LOOK what I can do!!” 

Kitty elegantly swooped by the window, and a shocked mother suddenly gasped. Her jaw dropped when she saw her second daughter follow by. With a tight grip on her broom, but she wasn’t sitting on it as much as dangling from it by her hands, and simply squeaking as she sped by!

“-KATHERINE PERSEPHONE PLUNKETT AND PENELOPE HORTENCIA PLUNKETT WHAT BY MERLIN’S BEARD ARE YOU DOING!?”

Both girls grew wide eyed as their mother stood there outside the backdoor with her arms planted firmly at her sides, before she raised a finger to wag at them. Quickly followed by a wand wave which got them both back down onto the ground. Kitty landed with both feet first like a cat, Penny dropped and plopped onto her butt.

“…..practicing quidditch?” was the answer that came from them in unison.

Clearly her sister had lost her mind. Sure, they were past 20 and both of them were ...single’ish. Kitty always had some poor chap wrapped around her pinky like the beautiful intelligent woman she was. Penny’s dating habits were a bit more random at best. 

This however came a bit out of the blue.

“....Eh what?”

She had never thought about her sister as a mother-figure. But she was certain she could do anything she put her mind to.

“Well I’d love to become an aunt you know.” she made a pouty face “ just imagine the small hands and tiny toes...!”

Kitty stormed into Penny's house like a fiery tornado. " I am staying with you!" - she exclaimed, throwing her stuff on the couch and going to look over the kitchen cabinets, - " Where is the wine? "

Penny had barely made it to the door. Not even that, she was a couple of meters away when someone with a carroty shade of red sprung in the door in such a rush that Penny believed something terrible had happened.

Clinging to her cup of tea, she stared at her sister who was heading for her cabinet in dire search of wine.

“The bombay cabinet, top shelf, to the left. Did you end up nearly marrying someone again when you were drunk?” brows furrowed in curiosity , but she remained a little confused.

“......I’ll just, go make the guestroom ready.” she had crammed so much random shit into that room it couldn’t really hold a person unless she hauled it all back outside. And found a place for it.

“Happy to see me again?” - Of course, Kitty had shown up at of the blue and was now standing there with arms wide open and beaming at her sister. It had been under un hour since she got back to the country.

Penny was standing int he doorway in her lazy pants and baggy sweater. Expecting to spend a night in. Red hair up in a ponytail. Her sister popping up out of the blue was not on the list of things she had seen coming. It was however really cool to see her again.

A loud girlish squeal broke the else quiet neighborhood calm, and she hurled herself at her sister to hug her.

“Kitty!!!! You crazy dolt! When did you get here?”

“Invite him out for a drink and then, after about twenty minutes, casually drop into the conversation the fact that you’d like to marry him and have lots of sex and babies.” - laughed Kitty before taking another sip from her glass.

Choked on her drink. She and her sister had gone out for a drink. just to catch up. kitty traveled a lot, and between work and insanity, they didn’t spend nearly enough time together as sisters. Not since the school days anyways.

“...What no!! I actually sort of like this guy, I don’t want to scare him. I’d prefer if he didn’t run away ya’kno!” 

Penny grabbed a napkin and started to dab her chest, trying to dry off the wet spots. Great, now she looked like a fool and clutz.

“Has that trick ever worked for you? really?” Then she laughed. There was no one quite like Kitty. That was the unique charm about her sister!
