Mina’s drinking habits have become reason for concern to her friends, her late night binges raising alarm to those close to her. She doesn’t listen to what they have to say though, only pushes them further away because right now, alcohol is her only crutch; and after another night of drowning her sorrows in a bottle of tequila, she’s stumbling home, her tiny body swaying around as she crossed the street, feet dragging along. She freezes with her legs straddling the painted traffic lines, whipping her head around in panicked confusion.
