i had an idea for a crossover fic of yuuji (jjk) and anya (spy x family) and i can’t get it out of my head. i see it playing out like this: yuuji and anya's parents die. their grandpa (yuuji’s grandpa) gets sick and sent into hospice care and can no longer take them so the two end up separated and sent to separate foster homes. anya (age 3) gets adopted in a heartbeat (cause yunno, people prefer adopting younger kids, unfortunately).

however, unbeknownst to yuuji, anya’s first set of adoptive parents get a divorce or something and the mother surrenders her rights—effectively putting anya back into the system. for two years he’s in and out of juvy over fighting and becomes a dual-status youth (basically foster kids who’ve also been in juvy before which disqualifies them for a lot of foster care home placements).

then, in comes his new agency’s top parent for troubled youth, nanami kento, who takes him in and after a lot of hurdles (yuuji runs away twice, his juvy past comes back to bite him, his grandpa dies) nanami and yuuji gain trust and grow a bond.

eventually, yuuji would open up about why he’s so angry and everything he’s lost (including, and most importantly, anya). so nanami, being who he is, finds out where anya is located intending to foster her and work on unification between the two siblings.

in the process, he finds out that anya has been adopted recently (her fourth home) by a couple in europe—yor and loid forger. so the rest of the fic would be the process of the siblings being reunited, the parents getting to know each other, etc. of course loid is initially wary of unification because of how much trouble yuuji has gotten into, but he’d simmer eventually, especially knowing that anya is ultimately their daughter and legally safe in their care regardless of how the unification goes (but ofc he comes to love yuuji exactly the same as anya and wants to see him succeed and be happy).

yuuji would go to school where nanami works as a part-time faculty advisor (but business is his main gig) and yuuji would graduate, albeit a year late. anya would start school at eden academy and excel after she has time to settle in. i think it’d be cool to explore yuuji not really liking loid at first (he sees the similarities between him and nanami but he thinks the guy is boujee and thinks that he wants anya to forget about him). yeah, this would be so fun to write.

i often think about how gojo and geto are both adoptive dads. in an alternate timeline they could've been happy and raised all four kids together and taught at the school and grew their family to extend out to the jujutsu tech students as well. but no... canon.

man... i need someone to write a haikyuu aran fic where he's under-appreciated in japan. like, criminally underrated and not loved how he should be by the team's fans (just like irl heehee *pain*). but, anyway... aran doesn't do social media, at all, so he has no idea that he's the fangirls' favorite internationally. so when the team goes off for their first big boy match against a non-japanese school he's insanely (pleasantly, unbelievably) surprised when they make it to their first international stop and he's showered with love and praises (and panties) everywhere they go throughout the trip. they get to the airport and he sees the fangirls lined up and doesn't even process that they're wearing HIS jersey number and staring him down (he assumes they're looking at Tsumu, as usual), but when all the fans start excitedly cheering for him, saying his name, and trying to get his attention... he has no idea what to do with himself. the team is just as surprised but so happy they can't stop teasing aran for all the attention he's getting just to hide how much they wish he got this in his own home. but yeah, they're all really excited that he's getting the appreciation he deserves and aran just... soaks it all in and has a blast on their away games.

i have the deepest desire to write a reality tv themed jjk fic based on something like the real world, jersey shore, or season one-three of love island (when the show was still raunchy and scandalous and fun). that sounds like the most fun concept ever but fuuuuuuck i have too many wips and too many ideas for that concept to write it rn + i’d get frustrated trying to write it now cause my vision for it isn’t fully developed. *sigh* when will my brain shut up about new complex fic concepts that will take a lot of time jfc
