he grabbed himself a glass of water as well and let out a sigh as she apologized. she didn't have anything to apologize for, they were both at fault. it killed him that she was right, they were far better together than they were apart, but he didn't know if he could handle another heartbreak. "how many blips are we supposed to have?" he muttered as he looked over at her. "stop... i'm sorry too, but saying sorry isn't going to do much, lena." he muttered as he pushed his hair out of his face.

"... i don't want anyone else there but you, you know that." he said as he leaned against his counter. "if we give this another chance, i don't think we can just hop back where we left off." they had been attached at the hip, practically living together and this time around he knew he had to take baby steps. they had to build up to that again. "what do you think?"
