love love love all the txt discourse in the ask box. Im munching on popcorn at the front row seat.

My only theory is the next cb might be the next full album and it would be another Chaos Chapter.

As for sonic direction i sadly dont think we will get bright concept (i call it MATH concept) back. when txt debuted there was still scope for soft-er things but now its basically saturated with dark and hybe will consider it a loss. I really hope it does happen, though. a lot of the member fit that concept better, they’ve said it themselves.

I dont mind the Dark Concept though.Chaos was very unique and i loved the Pop Punk Emo Rock inspiration. That was their most iconic era yet, i think if you ask anyone about txt they’ll probably think 0x1. Minisode 2 really gave “just some boy group” which honestly broke my heart. But it made up for it by being That Fucking Good in terms of quality.

So its still TXT and its still their unique sound and honestly it sounds better than ever. But in the back of mind i worry about if hybe will sacrifice that quality and that identity for more generic content bc 💸. We are obviously not there yet, so far hybe has done an excellent job with txt especially creatively. But you know how the industry works…

I really don’t think The Chaos Chapter is going to continue now that there has been a Minisode tbh- like it wouldn’t make sense at all for them to add another part to TCC atp considering the way TDC and Minisode 1 happened in succession right before TCC.

Although I’m aware of the fact that all of them are adults now and once bgs become adults the bright concepts tend to stop- I still like to hope sbbdjfjg

Bc truly they’re good at it all, but they just had so much more uniqueness when they were doing TDC- not that TCC wasn’t unique in its own way,, but like even the album packaging for Minisode 2 just screamed average bg to me and the photobook literally falls apart at the binding so easy it’s disappointing. I liked TCC a lot bc TXT is my ult and ofc I love their music. But I’d be lying if I said I thought it was their best.

There’s songs in that chapter that really give me a sense of nostalgia, like Dear Sputnik. Love it. Love 95% of the music from that era bc they do it so well. I just have such a strong preference for their Minisode 1 and TDC: Magic eras. Like even Eternity was dark but not a generic bg sound. I don’t even think 0x1 was generic tbh. If anything- Good Boy Gone Bad was the most average bg tt of all of their tts. Do I play it on repeat? Absolutely. But it’s just true-

I don’t think we will get a bright concept next considering we just got GBGB,, but I HOPE we get one next, if that makes sense.

TXT always has great quality, and I’m hoping HYBE keeps it that way or else I’m gonna break a limb
