Sometimes Thrift Store finds are a gift and a curse. 1960s Kodak Instamatic 100 with case. Pretty sure the batteries are also from the 1960s. . . . . . #kodak #kodakinstamatic100 #kodakinstamatic #film #filmphotography #camera #1960s #photography #photographer #vintage (at Nova Scotia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHy0nqhH2gD/?igshid=ztushvulrjg8

SHOOTING FILM IN VINTAGE CAMERAS
I always say, if you want it to look vintage, shoot with a 1960s plastic camera.
Top image: 126 cartridge film was discontinued in the early 2000s. With film in short supply I'm always eager to try expired Kodak 126, even if I can't predict the outcome. Here's my friend Sarina shot with the trusty 1963 Kodak Instamatic 100 camera on expired Kodak Gold 126 film.
Next image: Shot with the 1960 Kodak Flashmite 20 camera on Kodak Ektar 620 film. An additional plastic close-up lens over the camera lens tuned up the retro look. Hair and make-up by Paige Davis
