My thoughts on PDX101 EP. 8

My eyes are so dry from crying so much during this episode omg To anyone who actually reads this, thanks for reading through, I love talking about PDX101 a lot so it’s nice to let it all out on Tumblr LOL There will be spoilers, and I’m mainly just gonna write about my reactions to the new rankings + the song groupings so leggo (I LEARNED HOW TO ADD KEEP READING!!!)

1. I don’t really like how they have netizens choose the songs the trainees go into, because only the trainees with a lot of screentime end up getting songs that match them well, while all the other trainees just get grouped together and thrown into a song that netizens don’t really gravitate towards as much, which caused Monday to Sunday to only have one trainee remaining in it (my heart TT^TT) Move, Pretty Girl and U Got It are already gonna be the top 3 just because of the trainees that were chosen for it, and they’re all going to need to be changed a lot sighs

2. Move sounds like it’s going to be the next Open Up, so sexy my gawd. VVV excited that Hangyul was chosen for it, even though half of the people in this song are injured, I HOPE THEY GET WELL SOON!!! Seungyeun is a really good leader, I feel like this team will do vvv well

3. Pretty Girl is already such a cute song, next Oh Little Girl (which was prolly my fav song from Season 2 tbh) so I’m already very excited. I hope Minhee gets to stay in this group and remain main vocal!! Also here’s him smiling it was so precious and derpy but I love him

4. The trainees for Super Special Girl and Monday to Sunday seriously made my heart break, I was crying so much when Ziyue asked to dance in the center for once, and when they all were praised by the trainers one last time (Heejun especially for his rapping)

5. Rankings themselves: I don’t think I was all too shocked with who made it and who didn’t?? I’m really glad Lee Hyeop was able to move up. I’m really glad Seungwoo was able to make it into the top 10! Very proud! Also Jinhyuk’s benefit votes helped him SO MUCHH, without them I don’t think he would’ve been in the top 10?? I really hope Dongpyo and Minkyu both move up in the rankings again, especially Dongpyo, our center TT^TT

6. The X Consolation round really threw me through a loop, I’m kinda sad we only get one trainee back but at least we can bring one trainee back?? There are so many trainees who were eliminated who I wish I could bring back, like Hyunbin, Ziyue, Dongbin, Gichan AHHHH I could go on and on. We’ll all see what happens in Episode 9, very very excited!!
