this is a longish playlist because i didn’t spend too much time over-thinking. i followed ash’s style and went with vibes <3

001. porcelain — the lunar year.

My brain is porcelain. I'm a contortionist A fiend of circumstance, I break at zeal's first glance. My vice is my own mind I would die without you.

i chose this song because it represents finely fanni’s obsession with other people. she does not really exist without others and has a hard time controlling her surroundings.

002. anti-hero — taylor swift

idk if it’s me but this whole song comes off very contradictory to me. i suppose you could take it as a self-awareness anthem but i see it as a bit of a self-pity fest. from the hyperboles to the digs, it’s just hard to believe that a person who is able to handle being held accountable for their own actions, would write these lyrics. someone may want to fight me on this ! anyways, how i tie it to fanni is that she will admit being sad or clingy or having made a mistake but jesus christ never will she think she has a role in it. she’s always just a victim of the circumstances :)

heard the song and immediately connected it with fanni.

fanni really wanted to do things by the book.

maybe the song’s timeline doesn’t quite fit but the storyline itself sort of applies to fanni. it’s that dark time when apathy takes over.

this is sort of a farnauld song but i think it’s just something that works with fanni’s behavioural patterns lol

this is another tekla & fanni song. there’s a lot of growing pains at the moment and at least for fanni, there’s this desire to have what they had when they were still young. when their conversations were light and happy and tekla’s very existence did not act as an unwelcome reminder.

011. earl grey tea — griff

fanni’s priorities have shifted as of late — even if she doesn’t quite like it. but what has stayed the same is her desire to have these certain accomplishments.

this is a love song but for me it’s a fanni & olimpia song. olimpia has had to adopt some of fanni’s duties as the peace maker and ngl olimpia is starting to be the sane one out of the siblings.

this is such a fanni song that i wanted on this playlist even if it’s already on the farthur one.

The biggest benefit of this whole thing I've been going through lately is I moved on from my university crush. Something that I thought would take me another year or so has now happened and I am glad. Thinking about that non-relationship was taking up so much of time and energy and now I can put that time and energy into myself and others. I am feeling that rare optimism I get for the future once more.
