I'm not on Twitter and recently reinstalled to see if those "tomdayas" were posting about Tom on stage, and it's funny how they have turned into fangirls of those two yt bots in that Challengers movie. No shade to those actors cause I've watched the movie, but I find it funny how no one online is calling them a has-been or criticising their career output despite getting their acclaim in their early 30s but Tom at 27 going 28 next week, is a flop because his most popular role is Spider-Man?
As a fan, I just want him to have a fandom that's just for him cause tomdayas, not all, but most are biased and only care about his relationship and personal life. Some are just Z fans and emasculate him and love her costars, some are those Spiderman fanboys who are toxic and compare him to his previous predecessors, others only like his umbrella dance and don't care about anything else.
There are some tomdayas who lurk on your account, and maybe you guys are the exception, but the majority don't care for his career growth. They want him as a trophy husband as if he's not a person outside of his relationship. Some of them act like Tom is this insecure man like he didn't have a good upbringing, which isn't true. He was popular due to his time as Billy Elliot and the impossible. If Tom was 6 foot, would ppl still find ways to disrespect him??? He's way too talented to waste putting other ppl above him. Actors would kill to have his level of fame and popularity.
The "poor Tom Holland" tweets because his gf is in a scene in her new movie, is getting so tiring. It's not his gf or the actors' fault but the public perception of his relationship that ppl refuse to separate and see him as an individual. His career output needs to be of that critical acclaim because those actors that they compare Tom to from Challengers haven't had any movie so far to do well in the box office. Critical, maybe, but not commercially. I think Challengers was their first movie for that.
Jmo.
The "poor Tom" narrative is funny because he is the one making out with another woman on stage pretty much every night, while this movie was shot 3 years 💀.

The public perception of their relationship is overall positive. You are referring to the losers on the internet who dislike him for various reasons and have banded together to shit on him because the brightest stars always attract the most attention 🤌🏽. I'm a bit frustrated with the lack of news regarding his career, and I'm tired of anything related to sm because: 1) those movies take too much time to be made. 6 months is crazy when you consider TCR took 7 months to shoot only because of COVID, and it's a TV show 💀, and 2) they should never be the main priority for an actor at his prime. It's not about him not making them, but rather him prioritizing them above other projects, which is tiring for me as a fan (I'm not saying it's the case, I'm just assuming).
This multi-talented man needs to keep exploring his other options (which he is doing right now and I appreciate him for that). @ Tom: Boy, you can't give me something like *The Crowded Room* and then go back to appeasing that annoying crowd of fans while you're getting criticized by them for absolutely no reason 😔.
