This episode was actually pretty emotional for me. Probably the most emotional for me in 2 seasons.

I can't imagine being away from my family for 5 yrs with no contact much less in Kyle's case, away from his only living relative his grand daughter Gigi. But their interactions and when they hugged was just so beautiful. When Kyle also reached out his hand to Conrad, I cried 😢 it was a much needed closure for both parties.

Honestly Gigi is too precious. Just so adorable. As usual the Conrad/Gigi scenes are always just too wholesome 🥰

I also felt for Billie this episode. When she was talking to Leela in the scrub room, she said "sometimes I don't even know how I keep doing this". She also said something that struck a nerve, she said she was not ok. But that she didn't want to be the kind of doctor that was okay when things don't go as planned with patients. You could see that it was all already getting to her. And then on top of that, she was attacked at the stairs. It's just too much for one person to go through all in one day. Ngl, the scene was tough to watch. I'm interested to see how things play out with her in terms of the after effect of the incident. It seems like they are probably setting up something for her storyline with regards to this.

Finally the last scene with Padma. I can't even begin to understand what it means to go through PPD. I really do hope she's alright next episode. 😔
