New battery technology | best cheap electric car
A new battery technology that could significantly reduce the price of electric cars and home battery systems has taken a major step towards commercialization.
Next generation replacement batteries for EV’s could benefit from the cheaper zinc manganese batteries. Picture: Anthony Broese van Groenou
South Australian researchers from the University of Adelaide have secured an A$1 million research contract with a Chinese battery manufacturer to develop the new technology and bring it to market within 12 months.
The patented design uses non-toxic zinc and manganese, two metals that are abundant in Australia, and incombustible aqueous electrolyte to produce a battery with a high-energy density.
The researchers estimate the cost of this new electrolytic Zn–Mn battery to be less than US$ 10 per kWh compared with US$ 300 per kWh for current Li-ion batteries, US$ 72 per kWh for Ni–Fe batteries and US$ 48 per kWh for Lead–acid batteries.
Fuel Economy is excellent. The EPA estimates the 2021 CR-V will provide you with 40mpg city, 35mpg highway and 38 combined. The hybrid’s total range is 440 miles.
There are 4 CR-V trims: Hybrid LX (MSRP: $27,850); Hybrid EX (MSRP: $30,360); Hybrid EX-L (MSRP: $32,850); and Hybrid Touring (MSRP: $36,050).
Hybrid LX features include: Real Time AWD; Honda Sensing; an Easy Fold-Down 60/40 Split Rear Seatback; a Power Flow Monitor; ECON, Sport and EV Drive Modes; a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera; LED Headlights with Auto-On/Off; Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock; Auto High-Beam Headlights; an Automatic Climate Control System; Push Button Start; a Retractable Cargo Area Cover; a 160-Watt Audio System with 4 Speakers; Bluetooth HandsFreeLink; USB Audio Interface; Pandora Compatibility; Remote Entry System; Idle-Stop.

If a Grand Cherokee is bigger than you need, but you’re not ready to commit to the rough-and-tough of a Wrangler, the 2021 Jeep Cherokee may do the job.
It comes in eight trims, including an entry-level front-wheel-drive model, but my tester was the off-road-ready Trailhawk, and it’s far more capable than you might think. Offered in two levels, I had the upper Elite, which starts at $41,795 before fees and taxes. It was then topped up with options, bringing it to $47,285.
Styling: 8/10
The Cherokee was a bit wonky-looking when it was first introduced for 2014, with thin headlights oddly set atop the fenders. It’s been massaged since then into a design that, if not outstanding, blends well into the midsize sport-ute market. Mine was spiffed up with a no-charge coat of Spitfire Orange paint, while my 17-inch black wheels – the same size as stock, but done in a different style and shade – added $695.
The Trailhawk sits 25 mm (one inch) higher than other trims, and includes front and rear red tow hooks, along with skid plates. All front and rear lighting is LED. The Elite includes a hands-free power tailgate, but my tester’s dual-pane panoramic sunroof was part of a $1,995 Sun and Sound package that also adds a premium stereo system.
Safety: 8.5/10
The United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) differ slightly on the Cherokee. The NHTSA gives it four out of five stars overall, with five stars for side crash but only four for frontal and rollover. However, the IIHS gave it the top “Good” rating for all crashes (three frontal, side, and roof) plus head restraints and seats, and “Good+” for child-seat latch ease of use, although the LED headlights only rated “Acceptable.”
The Trailhawk comes standard with blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and the back-up camera that’s mandatory on all new vehicles. My tester was further equipped with a $1,095 Technology pack that added adaptive cruise control that works in stop-and-go traffic, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keep assist, emergency front braking, and a self-parking feature.
Features: 8/10
My tester came with a long list of features stuffed into a good-looking and well-finished cabin. The Trailhawk’s standard items include dual-zone automatic climate control, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven-inch instrument cluster display, voice command, satellite radio with one-year trial subscription, all-weather floor mats, a heated steering wheel, and a 115-volt outlet.
The Trailhawk Elite further adds heated and ventilated leather seats, a security alarm, hands-free tailgate, power driver’s seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and integrated garage door opener. My ride was also equipped with the aforementioned safety-tech package, black wheels, and sunroof/audio bundle, plus a towing package, and upgraded infotainment with navigation, traffic, and travel information, off-road pages, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
User Friendliness: 8.5/10
Even with the Trailhawk’s slight increase in ground clearance, it’s easy to get in and out of this trucklet’s front and rear seats. I appreciated my tester’s power-adjustable chair and was able to find the right position, and visibility is good all around.
Most of the controls are big dials and buttons, which is always good, including on the steering wheel and the button/dial combination for the four-wheel-drive configuration. The Uconnect infotainment system remains one of the industry’s best, with big-and-simple icons and intuitive menus. My only quibbles are that I’d prefer a temperature dial to the up-or-down toggle here; and the heated seats and steering wheel are controlled not by buttons but through the touchscreen, which requires extra steps and takes your eyes off the road.
Practicality: 8.5/10
The Cherokee is roomy inside for its footprint, including a decent amount of space for those in the rear seat. The cargo compartment offers 700 L of space with the rear seats up, and the cargo floor can be lowered for taller items. The rear seats fold, but not completely flat. The cargo liftover is a bit higher than some, but I didn’t have any issues getting my groceries into it.
There isn’t as much small-item storage in the centre console as with many other SUVs, mostly because cubby-bin space is taken up with the four-wheel-drive dial and connectivity outlets. But there is a storage spot in front of those, as well as a lidded bin atop of the dash. When equipped with the optional towing package as mine was, the Trailhawk can pull up to 2,041 kg (4,500 lb).
Comfort: 9/10
The Trailhawk Elite’s leather-faced seats are sculpted and bolstered, and they’re as comfortable and supportive as they look. The Elite also adds power adjustment to both front chairs.
That comfort follows through with the on-road ride, and for a vehicle that’s tuned for off-road, it behaves itself very well on the asphalt. It’s smooth and quiet, and it soaks up bumps very well and allows only the nastiest potholes to make their way into the cabin.
Power: 9.5/10
The Cherokee lineup offers three engines, but the Trailhawk comes exclusively with a 3.2L V6 that makes 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a nine-speed automatic, and while that multi-gear unit can sometimes hunt for gears with some other engines, it’s a good fit here. Acceleration is smooth and quick, and there’s plenty of power for highway passing. This is a very sweet little engine and extremely impressive. I also like that it’s not turbocharged. If I’m planning on keeping a vehicle for a long time, I prefer the simplicity of a naturally aspirated engine.
Three four-wheel drive systems are offered across the Cherokee range, but the Trailhawk uses the beefiest of them, called Jeep Active Drive Lock. It’s an automatic system that can be driven anywhere, but can be put into four-wheel low, which should only be used on loose or soft surfaces, and further has a mechanical locking rear differential for the toughest stuff. Hill descent control is standard, as is a low-speed cruise control for use on trails.

Driving Feel: 9/10
If the Cherokee Trailhawk surprises you with how smooth and comfortable its on-road manners are, wait until you take it off the beaten path. It may look like your average pavement-pounder, but it can off-road alongside most of the best. It wears Jeep’s “Trail-Rated” badge, and while the company – rather annoyingly – will not divulge exactly what standards a vehicle has to meet to get one, they’re obviously tough enough based on the Trailhawk’s performance.
I’ve driven the Trailhawk on some very challenging courses, including mud, snow, and rocks, and got through them all. And then, on pavement, you get responsive handling, smooth performance around curves with a minimum of body roll, and good brake feel. It’ll do most of what the Wrangler can handle, but while that model is rough and noisy on-road, and you’re always correcting the steering, the Cherokee Trailhawk is also an everyday commuter sport-ute that’s as laidback as any.
Fuel Economy: 8/10
With the largest of the Cherokee’s engines, and its full-time four-wheel drive system, the Trailhawk racks up the highest numbers in the lineup, at 12.9 L/100 in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and a combined 11.5 L/100 km overall. In my week with it, my combined driving matched the city numbers, and I got 12.9 L/100 km.
Those Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) numbers are among the highest in the segment, but it’s also difficult to compare it head-to-head in the marketplace. Most of its midsize all-wheel-drive competitors have four-cylinder engines, and they don’t have the Trailhawk’s heavier-duty – and just plain heavier – four-wheel drive system. As they say, if you wanna play, you gotta pay.
Value: 8/10
This Jeep ain’t cheap. You’re paying for that off-road goodness, and likely a few bucks tacked on for the name’s reputation. But you’re also getting far more capability in the Trailhawk than the majority of its competitors hand over.
My Trailhawk Elite started at $41,795 before its various options were added. You can certainly get into other off-road-inspired all-wheel-drive SUVs for less, such as Subaru’s Outback or Honda’s Passport, but for a real off-roader, the choices are limited and pricing is in the same general ballpark. Toyota’s RAV4 Trail TRD Off-Road is $42,910, while Ford’s Bronco Sport Badlands is $40,199.
The Verdict
The Cherokee Trailhawk impressed me for all the right reasons – its engine, its ride and performance, its comfort and practicality – and then threw in “You wanna go off-road? Well, hang on tight!” on top of it. If you want to hit the heavier trails, but you want on-road comfort and you’re not ready to commit to a Wrangler, this might well be your ride.

With 9M CR-Vs sold globally, Honda debuts its CR-V Hybrid
The Honda CR-V has an incredible record of global sales. More than 9 million CR-Vs have been sold worldwide in 150 countries since ’95. In the USA, a total of 384,168 CR-Vs were sold in 2019 alone (wheelsjoint.com). In the SUV market, it ranks second only to the Toyota RAV4.
Tumblr media
By John Coulter, CURRENT EV CMO
Launched in Japan in 1995, the CR-V became one of the pioneer models of what has become the highly popular Compact SUV segment. It quickly established itself as a favorite with customers looking for a sturdy, reliable vehicle with low maintenance costs.
The core of the vehicle’s popularity is its combination of efficiency, functionality, simple style, safety and legendary Honda quality. The average estimate for repair bills for the first and second years is $0! The average maintenance cost for the first year of driving is $190.
Depreciation is minimal as well, accounting for only 10.582% its first year and 8.88% its second year.
The 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid crossover retains the same basic design and features as its 2020 predecessor. Few changes have been implemented, as 2020 was the year when the CR-V received its 4th Generation makeover and the hybrid version debuted. The 2021 hybrid uses a 2.0L 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine mated with 2 electric motors and a small 1.4kWh battery. Together, they generate 212hp and 232 lb-ft of torque, and provide what is considered the best engine performance in its segment.
With a 0 to 60 sprint of 7.5 seconds, it is not what any reviewer would call a fast car. But what its drivers like is its linear power delivery; it has no gears to shift, making the drive incredibly smooth. And the vehicle’s torque output of 232 lb-ft with its gas engine and two electric motors working bests the Ford Escape Hybrid and the Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid, its two closest competitors. Rather than a super fast family hauler, it’s a comfy city cruiser which gets you where you want to go, smoothly, safely and inexpensively.
Fuel Economy is excellent. The EPA estimates the 2021 CR-V will provide you with 40mpg city, 35mpg highway and 38 combined. The hybrid’s total range is 440 miles.
There are 4 CR-V trims: Hybrid LX (MSRP: $27,850); Hybrid EX (MSRP: $30,360); Hybrid EX-L (MSRP: $32,850); and Hybrid Touring (MSRP: $36,050).
Hybrid LX features include: Real Time AWD; Honda Sensing; an Easy Fold-Down 60/40 Split Rear Seatback; a Power Flow Monitor; ECON, Sport and EV Drive Modes; a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera; LED Headlights with Auto-On/Off; Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock; Auto High-Beam Headlights; an Automatic Climate Control System; Push Button Start; a Retractable Cargo Area Cover; a 160-Watt Audio System with 4 Speakers; Bluetooth HandsFreeLink; USB Audio Interface; Pandora Compatibility; Remote Entry System; Idle-Stop.
Hybrid EX includes all Hybrid LX features, plus: Blind Spot Information (BSI) System with Cross Traffic Monitor; Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control System; Apple CarPlay Integration; Android Auto Integration; Heated Front Seats; a 12-Way Power-Adjustable Driver’s Seat; One-Touch Power Moonroof with Tilt Feature; 7-Inch Display Audio Touch-Screen; 180-Watt Audio System with 6 Speakers; SiriusXM® Radio; HD Radio; SMS Text Message Function; Rear Privacy Glass; HondaLink; Heated Power Side Mirrors Including Integrated Indicators; Auto High-Beam Headlights; LED Fog Lights; a Security System.
Hybrid EX-L includes all Hybrid LX and EX features, plus: a Leather-Trimmed Interior; a Power Tailgate; a Heated Steering Wheel; Automatic-Dimming Rearview Mirror; a Two-Position Memory Driver’s Seat; a Front Passenger’s Seat with 4-Way Power Adjustment; a 180-Watt Audio System with 8 Speakers; Ambient Lighting; HomeLink Remote System.
Hybrid Touring includes all Hybrid LX, EX and EX-L features, plus: a Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate; a Wireless Phone Charger; 19-Inch Alloy Wheels; Parking Sensors; Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System; Turn-By-Turn Directions; Roof Rails; 330-Watt Premium Audio System with 9 Speakers; Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers.
The CR-V offers one of the largest cargo bays in its segment, with 39.2ft3 of cargo space. Car & Driver reviewers managed to fit 10 carry-on sized suitcases behind the rear seat. With seats folded down, the Honda CR-V Hybrid offers best-in-class luggage space.
In 2020, the CR-V earned a 5-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and it was named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), The Honda also comes standard with a suite of driver assistance technology which includes: standard forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking; standard lane-keeping assist and lane-departure warning; standard adaptive cruise control.

The all-new BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 Series Sedan has epitomised the concept of sporty driving pleasure in the global premium midsize class for more than 40 years. Exuding dynamic design, agile handling, exceptional efficiency and innovative equipment features, it takes the signature characteristics of a BMW and turns the volume up several notches. The sedan represents not only the core of the BMW 3 Series range (of which over 15 million units have now been sold worldwide) but also the heartbeat of the BMW brand. This latest edition of the car sees BMW building in particular on the sporting tradition of the 3 Series, whose exploits in race competition have earned it so much extra dynamic credibility. The seventh generation of the sports sedan moves the game on once again in its segment in terms of driving dynamics, premium quality and innovation.
The world premiere of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan was hosted by the Mondial de l’Automobile show in Paris in October 2018. The market launch of the car has now commenced. The new model will be produced at BMW’s “home” plant in Munich, at the Tiexi plant in Shenyang run by the joint venture BMW Brilliance Automotive (BBA) and the newly constructed BMW Plant San Luis Potosí in Mexico.
Exterior design: a clear, precise expression of sporting prowess.
BMW’s new design language showcases the modern and dynamic character of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan with precisely drawn lines and strikingly contoured surfaces. It is 76 millimetres longer than its predecessor (at 4,709 mm), 16 millimetres wider (1,827 mm) and just 1 mm taller (1,442 millimetres). The car’s 41-millimetre longer wheelbase (2,851 mm) and increased track widths (front: + 43 mm, rear: 21 mm), meanwhile, have a direct and positive influence on its poise and agility.
The large BMW kidney grille and the headlights leading off it are dominant themes of the front end of the car. Their familiar two-way split is emphasised by an eye-catching notch in the front apron that rises up into the headlight contour. Full-LED headlights come as standard, while the LED headlights with extended features and Adaptive LED headlights with BMW Laserlight for non-dazzling high beam (with a range of around 530 metres) are available as an option. Both the optional LED front foglamps and the Air Curtains are integrated into the outer air intakes, which take the form of a horizontal T shape on cars with standard specification and Sport Line / Luxury Line models. The dynamic side view is shaped by a pair of character lines and a dynamic side skirt contour. The trailing edge of the side window graphic with its Hofmeister kink design cue is now integrated into the C-pillar. Horizontal lines and slim, stylishly darkened LED lights give the rear a wide and muscular stance.
Interior: a classy route to sporting flair.
The brand’s new design language also brings a clear arrangement of surfaces to the interior of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan. This accentuates the spaciousness of the cabin and, together with the cockpit’s focus on the driver, enhances their concentration on the road. The new screen grouping of Control Display and instrument cluster, the tall centre console and the coordinated design of the light, modern instrument panel and door panel trim create an all-round feeing of space and a sporting aura.
The controls are clustered into clearly structured function panels. In the centre of the instrument panel, the displays and buttons for the air conditioning and the air vents form a sharply designed unit, while the light functions are operated from a panel of buttons next to the steering wheel. The light functions are operated from a panel of buttons next to the standard-fitted sports leather steering wheel. The start/stop button for the engine is now positioned in the newly designed control panel in the centre console, where the gearshift lever or newly designed selector lever is joined by the iDrive Controller and the buttons for the Driving Experience Control switch unit and electromechanical parking brake.
Powerful and efficient engines available at launch.
Powerful and efficient engines will be available from the start of sales for the new BMW 3 Series Sedan. The line-up comprises a pair of four-cylinder petrol engines with 135 kW in the BMW 320i (fuel consumption combined: 6.0 – 5.7 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 137 – 129 g/km)* and 190 kW in the BMW 330i (fuel consumption combined: 6.1 – 5.8 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined 139 – 132 g/km)*, plus 140 kW/190 in the BMW 320d (fuel consumption combined: 4.7 – 4.4 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 122 – 115 g/km)*. A 195 kW six-cylinder in-line diesel engine powers the BMW 330d (fuel consumption combined: 5.2 – 4.8 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 136 – 128 g/km)*.
Innovative chassis technology for sporting performance and driving comfort.
When developing the body structure and chassis technology of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan, a number of clear priorities were set: enhanced driving dynamics, agile handling characteristics, high-precision steering and superior braking performance. Overall, the new BMW 3 Series Sedan weighs up to 55 kilograms less than the corresponding predecessor model, depending on the model variant and equipment fitted. The new BMW 3 Series Sedan also has a low centre of gravity and 50 : 50 weight distribution, while the stiffness of the body structure and suspension mountings have been significantly increased. Optimised aerodynamics reduce the car’s drag coefficient to 0.23 (BMW 320d).
The standard-fitted suspension and optional M Sport suspension both include lift-related dampers, which are making their debut in a BMW model. They make a major contribution to the balance between sportiness and comfort – unmatched by any rival – which defines the character of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan. Continuously variable control allows them to adjust the damper firmness progressively according to changing spring travel, which reduces body movement perceptibly when evening out vibrations caused by bumpy road surfaces and dynamic cornering.
M Sport suspension (with a 10-millimetre reduction in ride height) is joined on the options list by Adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers. The two optional suspension variants also bring customers the benefits of variable sport steering, the latest version of which has even more direct and precise feel. M Sport brakes with four-piston fixed callipers at the front can also be ordered. The blue-painted callipers display the M logo. An M Sport differential is available for the BMW 330i and BMW 330d in conjunction with the M Sport suspension or Adaptive M suspension. Here, the electronically controlled, full-variable locking function in the rear differential significantly enhances traction, agility, stability and cornering dynamics.
Premium ambience and high-quality optional equipment.
The premium characteristics of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan can be further enhanced with an array of high-quality and innovative options. The Sport Line and M Sport equipment lines help to provide targeted individualisation. Added to which, newly designed steering wheels and interior trim elements, optional Vernasca and BMW Individual Merino leather trim, an instrument panel in Sensatec and a leather-covered BMW Individual instrument panel, plus three-zone automatic climate control, auxiliary heating and the optional telephony with wireless charging, offer scope for increased comfort and exclusive style. The windscreen is fitted as standard with acoustic glass, which is also available as an option for the side door windows. The optional glass roof has a 100-millimetre longer transparent surface. And the optional ambient lighting results in atmospherically rich illumination, while the Harman Kardon surround sound system delivers exceptional listening pleasure.
Extended shoulder and elbow room in the front seats and additional legroom, seat comfort and ease of entry and exit all contribute to the generous feeling of space in the interior. Plus, the new BMW 3 Series Sedan’s 480-litre boot offers improved loading comfort. A 40 : 20 : 40 split-folding rear backrest is part of standard specification, while automatic boot lid operation and a trailer coupling that can be extended and retracted again electrically are both options. The optional Comfort Access, which now has a new sensor system, allows the car to be locked and unlocked automatically and also includes hands-free opening of the boot lid.
Leading the way to automated driving.
The new BMW 3 Series Sedan uses a significantly expanded selection of innovative assistance systems to likewise take a leading role on the road to automated driving. Features include Lane Departure Warning, plus Collision and Pedestrian Warning with City Braking function, the latest version of which also alerts the driver when a cyclist is detected. Other options include Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function and the Driving Assistant with Lane Change Warning, Rear Collision Prevention and Cross-Traffic Alert. Also offered is the Driving Assistant Professional, a complete comfort and safety-enhancing package. One of the features of the Driving Assistant Professional is the Steering and lane control assistant, which works together with the driver to help keep the vehicle in the detected lane through narrow channels and also includes the Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection and the evasion aid. The new-generation BMW Head-Up Display offers a larger projection surface, new graphics and additional display content.
Park Distance Control and the rear view camera assist the driver with manoeuvring and entering/exiting parking spaces. Also available is the Parking Assistant, which takes over steering, acceleration, braking and gear changes with the Steptronic transmission when driving into and out of a space. Its range of functions also includes the Reversing Assistant, which can reverse the vehicle for distances of up to 50 metres by steering it along exactly the same line it has just taken when moving forward.
Intuitive operation and flawless connectivity: BMW Operating System 7.0 and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.
The new BMW Operating System 7.0 plays a leading role in optimising the control and display system with modern, digital functions geared precisely to the needs of the driver. The optional BMW Live Cockpit Professional comprises consistently designed, situation-linked and customisable displays on the fully-digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 10.25-inch Control Display. For intuitive operation, the driver can choose from the Control Display’s touch control, the iDrive Controller, the steering wheel buttons, gesture control and voice control.
Making its debut in the new BMW 3 Series Sedan is the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, an intelligent, digital character that responds to the prompt “Hey BMW”. One unique feature over other digital assistants is that drivers can give him a name. The arrival of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant ensures there is always a genuine BMW professional on board. He is able to explain all sorts of different functions (“How does the High Beam Assistant work?”), provide current status information (“Is the oil level okay?”) and help answer questions (“What warning messages do I have?”). The Intelligent Personal Assistant is, in short, the ideal co-driver and comes in particularly useful during everyday driving by responding to natural voice commands to help the driver with numerous tasks, such as enhancing productivity and on-board entertainment. The range of functions and skills available will be constantly expanded as part of regular updates, which can be carried out seamlessly on a smartphone and in-car by Remote Software Upgrade.

  2019 Ford Transit Design
For starters, were you worried about the outside world? There will be some small changes in the appearance of this situation. The car will join the single and double wheelbase. There is also a sliding goods receipt. This new model of Ford Transit 2019 uses LED lights have given the front and rear seats. This replacement will probably make the car more pleasant to ride in the middle of the afternoon. The driving of this wagon will be the elegant and current day. There is even another set of wheels that brings a better understanding of the ancestor. The vehicle can be equipped both with the stop mechanism of the rigid plate in the front and in the rear. In the main aspect, this vehicle is very similar to a cargo van.
  2019 Ford Transit
The best segment of this most current Ford Transit can be inside. This vehicle is much more improved because it gives an incredible change inside the box. There are nice seats with open space for both legs and the leaders of their travelers. It incorporates a ventilation and cooling program and a high-end emotion. There is also a satellite reading frame that can give the same amount of advice that people need in the middle of the tour. This car can carry at least ten adults inside. The wheelbase is also improved to make it nice on the inside. When all is said, it is a beautiful car to drive.
  2019 Ford Transit Engine
The 2019 Ford Transit will use an enthusiastic engine in the engine. It uses a V8 engine that uses a point furthest from 5.0 liters. The new Transit 2019 is better than the best in the class. Within this model, the engine used can be the 3.5-liter engine with the Eco Enhance engine. The limit that can be transmitted from this engine is simply around 300 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Another engine that can be accepted as an associate is the 3.7-liter engine confined to the V8 gasoline engine.
This engine can carry up to 280 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Likewise, the affiliation now offers another engine for the 3.2-liter power engine near the 5-cylinder 185 hp engine. Each of the machines, by then, will be completed with the 6-speed gearbox. It is, no matter, small unidentified notice if the buyers can support the engine or even the affiliation chose the engine for that car.
2019 Ford Transit price and Release Date
The 2019 Ford Transit will be available soon before the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019. But that may be more than that. The stipulations of value will be approximately $ 50,000. People should pay more than $ 2,000 for the most outstanding way.
There are some varieties of value given that gender specifications choose individuals. This vehicle is very expensive because it can attract many travelers at the same time with some improvements. In addition, the car also uses an intense engine to support its huge system.

The Audi SQ5 Is Sporty, Sumptuous, and Strong
A sport-tuned crossover wearing 21-inch low-profile summer tires has no right to ride as creamily as does Audi’s second-generation high-performance SQ5. But smooth and refined the SQ5 most assuredly is—as I discovered mere minutes after climbing behind its leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel. This is a busy segment of the market, bursting with the likes of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the Porsche Macan, the BMW X3, and the Jaguar F-Pace, to name just a few. Even among such impressive competition, though, the SQ5 has a lot to show for itself.
My Matador Red test car was a 2018 model but the 2019 carries over essentially unchanged aside from a new Premium base trim level that joins the Premium Plus and Prestige models. (Specs and pricing will be for 2019 models.) My example was a sumptuously appointed Prestige, which commands a $9,700 over the Premium. For that sum you get a color head-up display, a Bang & Olufsen surround-sound audio system, Audi MMI navigation, Audi’s virtual cockpit, and much more. Among the other options on board: $500 carbon-fiber interior trim, the $595 paint, the $3,000 S Sport package (adaptive air suspension, red calipers, torque-vectoring rear differential), Nappa leather upholstery for $1,000, Dynamic Steering for $1,150, and 21-inch wheels with 255/40 summer rubber for another grand. My car also had an $1,800 Driver Assistance package that brought a bunch of active safety goodies, most of which were made standard on 2019 Premium Plus and/or Prestige models. The final tally to get a 2019 like mine? $70,340, not an insignificant amount for something this size.
But climb aboard and the SQ5 welcomes you into a stylish atmosphere full of pleasing shapes and rich materials, including fine, diamond-stitched quilted leather and crisp brushed-aluminum trim. The general feeling of quality is all but unsurpassed. This is a delicious—that’s the word—environment in which to hit the road. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features of the comprehensive infotainment system, but the real star is the Virtual Cockpit, which beams a full-color, photo-realistic Google Earth map display onto a large screen directly behind the wheel. It looks great and works beautifully, also allowing you to configure the main gauges (speedo, tach) as you like them. A large rotary knob and an accompanying touchpad on the central console make navigating the MMI multimedia interface totally painless. Audi has smartly avoided doing away with buttons and switches altogether, using a simple dials-and-tabs interface for controlling the climate-control system, plus additional buttons for operating various systems intuitively. Even seemingly unimportant details—such as, say, how smoothly the central display screen rolls through SiriusXM radio stations—combine to enhance the driving experience. The is one well-thought-out cockpit.
Space-wise, the gen-two SQ5 is roomier than its predecessor, but you wouldn’t call it “big” inside. Rear-seat leg- and shoulder room step up a notch, but you’ll trade some spaciousness to enjoy the Audi’s tidy exterior dimensions. The cargo area behind the second row is adequate for groceries or bags for a getaway, but there are roomier options in this class. I’d say most performance-minded shoppers considering the SQ5 will be fine with its interior volume and its prioritization of sportiness over size.
That Sport adaptive air suspension is a recommended option, as it drops the ride height by 1.2 inches compared with the standard suspension, lowering the center of gravity and improving agility. Its modes are chosen using the Drive Select switch on the dash and include Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Individual—allowing a personalized setup of ride height and damper stiffness—and Offroad, the last of which raises the suspension for increased ground clearance. I ran the SQ5 mostly in Dynamic, and even then the ride never got testy, at least on L.A.’s generally smooth roads. The rig has enough grip to be entertaining to hustle along when the mood strikes, the optional variable-ratio steering system becoming increasingly direct at low speeds to improve maneuvering and, on the highway, changing response to enhance stability. Overall, steering response is first-rate.
Not to be forgotten is the sublime powertrain. The turbocharged and direct-injected 3.0-liter V-6 is a stout little thing, good for 354 horsepower and serving up all 369 lb-ft of torque at just 1,370 rpm. Fed through the standard ZF eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive, the turbo engine can launch the SQ5 to 60 mph in just over five seconds. There are faster rides in rival showrooms, but the Audi feels plenty brawny. The sport rear differential that comes with the S Sport package can, if needed, divert almost all torque to one rear wheel. The entire system—engine, transmission, Quattro, diff—works with conspicuous refinement. That is, it never seems to work hard, yet you find yourself zipping right along and feeling totally secure the entire time.
The SQ5 may not biggest or the fastest or the flashiest machine in its sporty-crossover field, but there’s nothing it doesn’t do well, it’s brimming with helpful safety tech, and it exudes poise and competence in any driving situation. Add the clean-lined exterior and the gorgeous cockpit, and you have a spirited package that deserves a spot on any list of one shopping the segment. I’d raise my hand for seat time in an SQ5 any day.
2019 Audi SQ5 Specifications
