hey everyone! wanted to just reassure that i will be getting to every single esim donation art eventually, school's been kicking my ass atm... but im glad for everyone coming out for their support for palestine. continue to donate, educate yourself, protest, boycott and spread awareness for palestine, sudan, congo and other injustices happening globally

this year was pretty cool for art! definitely have a ton of hidden wips but that's just how it goes when i post art.. either right away or months later. still, i got to do lots of cool art, especially going all out for artfight!! X)

dmc1 trish... if her character was ever explored O(-< the hole is supposed to be where her heart is.. questioning her existence and what not.

sketch and colors + final rendering without the 27% overlay! but without masking layers so u can see how it spills out. i worked with the layers on so i could see what went into the circle but it's fun to see

and here are the thumbnails!! clearly i really wanted to go through with the gun barrel hole = disc hole. i was thinking of trying to include more of dante's body, and trying to figure out how to fill the empty space while keeping in mind that the logo would be somewhere. considered using his devil trigger wing to fill it in but it looked kinda awkward and maybe too busy? and then i remembered if ur stuck u can always go at an angle lol. i liked how it ended up covering one of his eyes, and i think the final being simpler is better (and gave room for the logo not to overlap much).

as for the last picture, i just wanted show a close up of the disc pattern(?), nice little texture :-]

i've posted over 100 drawings on here this year! wow! it would've been a lot more if i didn't lose a chunk but alas. this year was good for art. and next year will be better ^_^

my process for drawing that was semi trace my lines, and then edit proportions bc whenever i trace it looks weird, mess around with color, merge layers and then continue color and editing lines, laugh every 20 minutes and then have fun drawing

i hate when the final product gets stiffer from the sketch <- guy who is oftentimes fonder of the original messy sketch than the final thing, so i edited the legs from the one on the right to the middle to closer match the original sketch :-) should try to... do that from the beginning since now i can't rotate the head without redoing it smh
