Silly Game Time: Who are some of your favorite reptile characters? And what do you like about them?

They could be fully a real reptile (snakes, lizards, crocodilians--heck I'll even let you include amphibians like frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders if you want), partially reptile (like naga a partially humans and dragons are partually anything else), humanoid from fantasy or sci-fi (kobolds or silurians, etc.), or something else entirely. All that matters is that they're reptilain or reptoid.

oughuhuh uhh the problem with me is that if there's a reptile of some sort then it is probably already my favorite critter, barring any cool birds

I’ve been thinking since I’ve finished the vestroia rewatch - what do you think Mylene wanted to achieve (like, realistically)? She shows a lot of initiative when it comes to plotting against Spectra and also is definitely not pleased with the rule of Zenoheld, so I suppose it was like… waiting for an opportunity to become the ruler? But also I don’t think that by the end if it when Hydron started killing the Vexos she had a real plan of how to proceed? Idk, just been curious about your take on her because out of everyone on the Vexos team (or maybe even in general?) she seems to be the most puzzling one to me.

With the hindsight that there were probably multiple writers who very much just had to fly by the seat of their pants to make the show before the deadlines hit, it does feel more and more like Mylene was a bunch of 'evil woman' tropes put in a blender and just added wherever possible.

But. That is an assumption I am willing to ignore for the sake of mental gymnatics (my favorite hobby) so going by what hazy memories I've got of her, she doesn't look at the bakugan like they're living beings, being the one to throw out bakugan she deems as weak in the face of those who have qualms (Volt), and welcomes the advent of mechanical bakugan with enthusiasm. However, she exhibits care towards Volt (warning him that he's putting himself in danger, but ultimately not stopping him) and at least tolerating Shadow and Lync enough to prefer their company over Spectra and Gus (who. to be fair. were plotting political murder at this point.)

I think she wanted political power and I think she was getting more and more desperate to cling to what little she had left as the situation worsened around her. She knew how to play conniving viser and ruthless warlord, but she wasn't fond of weapons that talked back. And besides, they're not friends of hers, they're not even vestal citizens, why should she be worried about the consequences of harming them?

Power of friendship is why. But at least, in the end, she died with a friend by her side, I suppose.

I'd love to do an askblog type thing with this account, like, people sending questions and responses would be in-character from the cast of Far Flung Castle Knights. I think it'd be a fun way for more people to get to know these characters and how this world id similar and different from canon bakugan. But my problems are that:

• I'm not the owner of every single FFCK character

• aside from Mavros, not a lot of the ocs in this story are well-knowm

• This account doesn't see a lot of traffic overall

• I dunno if this is something users would be interested in ;<;

Silly Game Time: Who are some of your favorite avion characters, be they fully and naturally birds, transformed into birds, partially birds or bird-like (a kind of bird humanoid race in fantasy or sci-fi), or something else? And what do you like about those characters?

As much as I am a shun despiser, i always thought Ingram looked really sick. Also ingram happens to be one of those characters whose voice actors switched between evolutions and now he's somewhat canonically a transmasc bird ninja

8 - A headcanon I have about this character

If I never get around to writing it into a fic, I think that Venom being transmasc is a genuinely plausible character trait. I think as an orphaned kid he decided to pretend to be a boy as a self-defense/job tactic, and he just kept going along with it for such a long time that he suddenly realised hey wait a minute. I like myself like this! And then got magic top surgery at his earliest convenience.

(A less plausible joke-canon I have is Zato's trans-affirming homophobia. Venom i'll support your top surgery and kill anyone who uses incorrect pronouns to refer to you but you can't keep saying things like how you'll fight by my side forever or die for me in battle that's gay)

Venom is trying to prevent Millia from running away after she stabbed Zato. He's already half-dead from winning a fight with essentially an already powerful knight who got turned into a gear. He stands up and says that he's still got fight left in him, he can't just let her get away with treason.

Millia takes him up on his challenge and they're evenly matched. As they trade blows, their words change. During the rest of the audio drama, all they've ever had to say to each other are catty remarks and veiled digs at each other. But now, when they're trying to kill each other, they've got nothing but compliments. They both reveal that they see each other as Zato's no.2, not themselves, and Venom holds back to let Millia take the win. Brings me to tears.
