Landscape photography is a passion of mine, especially being out during the early hours of a morning (approx 4am for this image) There is something about the total quietness albeit the noise of distance birds and the odd movement of water noises from the lake and that sense of being alone in the darkness in the middle of nowhere creating an image to capture the landscape and night sky. The orange peaking out behind Mt Alford is the setting of the moon during a smoke hazed from recent bush fires.
