was obi’s hang up in 88 literally that shirayuki was relieved that he was okay? is that what he meant by “even for me” when he was talking about her expression looking like “relief”? ...are you kidding. and then his extremely delayed “should i have said i’m back?” (i feel like this was probably “okaeri” or “okaerinasai” and “tadaima” ... which could be “welcome back” but "welcome home” would also be accurate (and considering his expression/reaction...) i’m not sure what the original japanese was, but i’m thinking the phrasing might’ve been translator discretion -- which is fine, i’m just pointing it out) but anyway. obi. YOU HAVE NOT PROGRESSED AT ALL. my poor self-loathing son. heaven forbid shirayuki actually display even a hint of romantic feelings towards obi. he’d be like ???? ?? i’m confused?? i must be misinterpreting... is zen standing behind me? am i practice for zen? ha. ha. who put you up to this? are you drunk? did someone give you something??? maybe i’m drunk... i’m just... gonna go sit down and wallow in shame for thinking for even the briefest of seconds that you looked like you wanted me to kiss you...

UM... no... why’d you... why’d you do this. consider the moment shirayuki and zen actually disagree on a course of action (because at this point i need actual zenyuki conflict even if it’s just political or lowkey or i’m going to fall asleep;;) and both ask obi for help but each ask him to do completely opposing things...

asdfghjkl gdi. everyone said nice things, and i love you all, but you made me scream a little. thank you. especially for noting the slight adjustments in their expressions (which i think jen also mentioned). like. i’m not an artist. so i suck at trying to add accurate shading... and my attempts to redraw things can be laughable. that coloring in particular took a ton out of me.

so i’m literally dead after chapter 89 of ans. lots of obi/zen moments. it was cute. and OBI. ahhh. boy. he’s glowing. i can’t. 

also random but if anyone has any animanga recs they’d like to throw at me... please do. you can hit me with pretty much anything other than sports (i’m picky) or ecchi... i’ve been semi-disappointed with the seasonal line-ups lately... save like... 1 each round. or someone could try to pitch bnha at me. still haven’t watched that despite it always eating my dash.

if anyone is wondering why i haven’t posted an obiyuki playlist, it’s mainly because i discovered that i can no longer tell the difference between their canon relationship and my headcanon interpretation of their feelings. hahahahaha;;;  on another note, whenever i post something for that fandom... at least a handful of you end up saying “THANK YOU” in the tags and it gives me warm tingles

heyy guys. i’d like to apologize to the handful of you who have been trying to talk to me recently. i just had surgery, and i literally cannot do anything right now (I wasn’t expecting it to be quite this bad). lol. I’d message people individually but i literally do not have the energy and do not want to have extended conversations right now. it’s absolutely nothing personal. i’m just super sick and in pain.
