En début de saison, je pêche beaucoup dans des petits ruisseaux, là où les poissons dépassent rarement les 30 centimètres, c’est pour ça que j’ai fait ce petit modèle d’épuisette. J’en suis plutôt content, cela s’accorde aux poissons de petite taille. Même si d’un point de vue général je trouve que cette épuisette a beaucoup de défauts, notamment l’imperfection et l’irrégularité des courbes, des défauts de collages et vernis ect … Beaucoup de choses qui seront améliorées dans les prochaines. The Hazel branch landing net is completed. It turned out pretty decent by my standards. Far from perfect, perfectly usable. Will change out the cheap netting and add a hook on the end for lanyard installation. I have been asked, by Duncan at the Tackle Fanatics shop in Chessington, if I would like to do some testing of the Fox Warrior range of tackle.  This has been developed between Tackle Fanatics and Fox themselves.

Oddly, I had been thinking it was about time I updated my rods.  Tackle Fanatics thought it would be a great opportunity for me to do some testing.  After a few emails and a phone call, it was all was sorted and a date for the delivery was fixed.  Sure enough, bang on time, the delivery van arrived and I slowly opened up my parcels.

De retour sur le ruisseau de mon enfance, avec des poissons très foncés, une robe chargée en points et un jaune toujours aussi incroyable 🥰 Je suis très content des couleurs de ce filet, une fois mouillé, le mauve est vraiment beau je trouve 🟣. Peut-être que je ferais un filet entièrement de cette couleur un jour, qu’est-ce que vous en pensez ?🤔 . Concernant le combo, une FS55 de chez FENWICK et un petit 408 de chez MITCHELL, un ensemble que j’aime beaucoup utiliser dans les micros ruisseaux. La faible longueur de la FS55 permet de lancer (mais aussi de se déplacer) facilement dans des endroits très encombrés et cela est très souvent le cas des petits cours d’eau. Un poisson différent, mais prit avec la même technique que décrite dans la publication précédente, 3/4 aval avec un long bill et toujours le même ensemble. 😊 . Cette saison j’ai loupé plusieurs photos à cause des reflets, que ça soit sur l’eau ou les écailles des poissons, comme on peut le voir sur cette photo par exemple … Mais pour pallier à ça, on m’a offert récemment un filtre polarisant pour monter sur mon objectif.
