Photography tip:
Here's another example of why leading lines are so important. If the snow didn't have the wind blown groves in it, then the whole photo would have looked flat. If you've been following my work for awhile youll know that I bang this drum the most.

Sunset over the Keppel Bay. Photo credit: Jonathan Chua.
This was taken against the setting sun and the original capture was somewhat hazy and drab. Reds and yellows were then tweaked in post to fix that.

1. Find Inspiration

2. Research Your Subject
Once you find the inspiration, you have a subject in mind. Now, the next step is to study the subject. Suppose you are shooting an event. Then the subject is the event and the people participating. Make sure to research it well, so you know what you are capturing and that each shot is worthwhile.
3. Research Your Location
The next step is to research the location of the subject. If you are into wildlife photography, you should be acquainted with the wild. If you are planning landscape photography on a beach, understand the best time to shoot the location.
4. Understand How The Equipment Works
You can either buy or rent the equipment that will help you shoot the pictures. Once you get the equipment, go through the instructions well before you use it. You can read the manual for this purpose. Or else, you can simply look up the instructions online.
5. Practice
There’s no overstating the significance of this point. Practice is necessary for photography as is in any other skill. Make it a habit to click pictures for at least half an hour daily. Organize your pictures daily and do a daily review to understand how you can improve.
6. Understand The Role Of Lighting
Light plays a critical role in the quality of the picture. Try to shoot during the day when there is ample lighting. If you are shooting at night, ensure there is appropriate light with the help of an external setup.
7.  Click During The Golden Hour
The time at which you shoot matters greatly if you are doing a landscape shoot. The golden hour for photography is the hours of sunrise and sunset. Nature shines at its best at this time. This is one of the 10 Secrets About Yvette Heiser Photography You Can Learn From TV.
8. Click Plenty Of Pictures
You can only become a master in the photography field if you are relentless about it. When you spot a picture-worthy scene, set a particular angle and click many pictures at a go. Then experiment with the angle and go again. That’s how you refine and improve your pictures.
9. Take It Slow
Finally, don’t forget that you have a long way to go in the learning journey. So, be patient with yourself. Remember to laud yourself for small successes. Take it slow, but never lose the fire.
Conclusion

One of the most important and attractive photography tips for beginners is to just get out there and shoot. You will not get good at photography by reading articles about it or looking at sample images. While these tips will help you, your best learning will happen by putting them to use in the field, capturing that perfect image that made you want to pick up a camera in the first place. There are literally thousands of things to consider when creating a stunning image, and these tips are just scratching the surface of what you need to know. Most importantly though, when it's all said and done, follow your heart and let nothing distract you from your vision -- your photographs will be all the better for it.
