The heat is too much for me.

An Illness

Illness not only weakness the body.  It weakness the soul.

Cancer eats the body and soul. Eyes sees and remembers lifeless

bodies held by families. Their tears water their loved ones’ memorials. AIDS brings loneliness when they suffer as their body breaks down with purple and black marks on their bodies.  Dreams become broken when Lady Death invades people’s lives.

Sometime people overcome illness with willpower, hope and faith.

Happy Bucking New Year

It’s cold outside,

but sizzling inside.

We have hookers bouncing

up and down, pleasing

their customers.

Their knockers

are a knocking

letting their guests

in. Happy Bucking New Year.

 Addicts shoot drugs

into their system

as if they don’t

want or need a next year.

For those that don’t reach

next year, we shed a tear

and ask, “Why?”

Happy Bucking New Year

 We have children with no food

and freezing.  They have no home.

Some live in carboard boxes, with

no heat and expose to artic winds.

Shelters are full this time of year,

and people are afraid of their safety.

People die of the cold by living homeless.

Happy Bucking New Year

  We don’t know if we are going to be alive tomorrow.

We don’t know if Trump is going to start World War Three

by sending a nuclear missile to either North Korea or China.

Any how let’s forget all what’s wrong with the world,

and enjoy ourselves as we look forward Happy Bucking New Year.
