hi maybe i should make a psuedo intro. im nico im 21 i use he/they pronouns but as long as youre not being a dick i dont really care what you call me. i have been on tumblr since i was far too young to be on tumblr and yet i still somehow dont know how it works. i literally have been on here for over 6 years and i learned how asks worked less than half a year ago. help me. anyway im friendly feel free to message. this is 90% reblogs and then occasionally i write poetry or something. theres only really a few tags i use:

#how it feels - this tag is hard to explain. It is a religious tag to me but not in the way most people would categorize religion. its about the radio tower i call god. its about the air before it storms. its about going downhill on a rollercoaster from the drivers seat of a car. its about the sky. its about how experiencing anything is spiritual. its things that give me a certain indescribable feeling, but a very specific and powerful one. unfortunately i cannot explain better than that

yeah I definitely am still into nrb!! I've just watched like. all of the youtube and patreon content available to me a couple times over and it feels like the drip of new stuff has been kinda slow, I guess since they changed the patreon tiers? so I haven't been posting as much. but anyway yeah laurie my beloved!!!!! he's so silly with it sometimes, very babygirl-able.

There is a bird in a cage in a hole in my heart. No, abstract that, retract it, burn it away and start again. There is a cage in my heart and something that is not alive- but could be alive- is inside of it. It rolls against the bars, cracks itself open trying to squeeze out. Too abstract- there is a hole in a cage in a hole in my heart where there once was something that has never been alive. 

The little bird looks for metaphors and sings them quietly to herself while she buys a pair of shoes a half size too small. The little bird spells it out too plainly, cuts away the last line. 

The bird sets her cage on fire and it cauterizes her wound home shut. The little bird tastes freedom, wind, smoke. The little bird claws desperately at the scars. Everything she wants is at the tips of her wings and she doesn’t think about it at all. When clumps of her hair escape down the drain, she drags them back up, builds her nest on top of the organ. This time for sure, she thinks. I’ll be good this time. She thinks it every time.

Inside of a nest on top of a heart outside of a wound-home that once held a cage with a hole is a little stuffed bird. Voice box boxed in by a drained battery in a shower drain nest, the metaphors she sings to herself are garbled. She feels stuffed and stuffy, not a person or an animal but a vessel for her preprogrammed poetry. She’s not alive but could be alive and thinks very quietly to herself that if she were to leave right now, she could try again. And no one would have to know about her heart with its cage and the nest and the not-alive-not-dead-could-be-living things inside of it. She even thinks she’d be good this time.
