so my social media person thinks i should do a book giveaway, but i want to do it in a way that isn’t just gross smarmy self promotion.

an idea i had was to create some kind prompt that people could respond to in a post of their own, and then tag it with #lazinessdoesnotexist, or whatever, and then that could be considered an entry. so then it’s not just a million people being asked to share some promo image about my book, it’s an invitation to have people reflect on something and share their own experiences or views. 

what should the prompt be? like, “what is an obligation in your life you can let go of right now?” , “how can you embrace doing less this week?”; “what’s something that people tell you that you should be doing, that you want to reject?” 

or like, “what’s a sign that you are about to hit your limit?”

these are all so generic hmmmmmmm. i want something that invites people to respond in a variety of ways, and i want it to be positive/empowering or at least validating. does anyone have any ideas? it could be more narrow and specific than the stuff i’m listing here, as long as it’s semi relevant to the book.
