aika and nova's lives seem so tragic ;o; how do their stories end?

This is actually a very good question! It’s what I ask myself on daily basis

Right now I have planned this:

Nova will find a way back home but she will be unable to leave the Whitebeard pirates behind. However, in payback war she’ll suffer great losses and I’ll probably leave open whether she dies or gets home.

After losing her brother and failing at her mission, Aika will either die after re-joining the Heart Pirates or stay as a bitter, bitchy cleaner lady that will fight anyone trying to take over their ship till death. (ʘ‿ʘ)ノ✿ (Will become an avid Trafalgar Law supporter in the process.)

But as you can guess it’s all in progress so it will probably change many times. I’m a sucker for happy endings but for Whitebeard pirates that just doesn’t seem possible, so... better make it worse.

I did know I have a habit of making my characters do heroic things in tragic settings but I hadn’t realized I have a tendency to have them die in the process
