how would each of the puppets from puppet master like it if they had a master with adhd? like more on the spectrum of talking excessively, dissociating quickly, forgetting lots of things, having very impulsive reactions to things and ranting about unnecessary or unwanted topics. would they understand the master’s functions? do certain things tend to annoy them? are any of them reassuring to the master that their disorder is not a burden or a drag to them?

How the puppets interact with a master that has ADHD

Blade attempts to keep you on track, he’ll usually help you wake up in the morning and set up a schedule! with gentle reminders to get stuff done, however he never shames you if you forget.

Jester is your biggest cheerleader! he’s always there to support you and remind you that there’s nothing wrong with you, and that you’re in no way annoying.

Tunneler isn’t really sure how to help most days, it’s not that he doesn’t want to- he really really does! but the most he can do for you is be a reassurance that they all love you for you, and you’re still their master!

six shooter tries to keep you grounded, he knows that disassociating can often be triggered by something, so he does his best to avoid those triggers for you and come up with best possible methods that can help you out with these episodes.

pinhead keeps you from making extremely impulsive decisions, whether it’s an impulsive purchase or action- he sits down with you and you two will go over pros and cons, do you really need this thing, is it beneficial, etc.

torch is just easily annoyed in general, disorder or not- yet he’s been informed by the others about ADHD and that you cannot help certain things, so he does his best to understand and keep his anger issues in check.

leech woman is the queen of patience, she’ll listen to your ramblings as you bounce from topic to topic and yet she will still give you her undivided attention, even to the point where she’ll bring up the topics herself or bring you things in relation to them.
