what is a dagger going to do when i'm jumped by like 10 enemies from all directions. they're all going to hit me for all my health before i manage to make even one swing with the hammer. does the phrase live by the sword die by the sword mean nothing to you. have fun with your crit damage dagger being able to hit only one direction at a time. bitch

i need a new name for moss hawke bc i had an only child moment while naming him and forgot siblings often have names with the same vibes. i love the idea of malcolm naming him, and i kind of want to take a name from his past for moss, but moss is a mage and i think carver being the only one with a dear name from malcolm's past is something very special and i don't want to ruin it. bethany's name comes from leandra's mom's name, so i could take hawke's name from leandra's side of the family too and i think that would make sense. however him having a name leandra picked and switching it to something completely different makes me and our (hawke & me) mommy issues gnaw the bars of our enclosures. i think i need to boot up dao at some point and go around lothering looking for a name

what if i steal the idol of silvanus without doing anything about the kagha situation, resulting in the druids attacking the tieflings and killing them and turning hostile, resulting in me having to kill the druids. and then go to minthara. do i get an instant goblin party

fenris is funny but he doesn't joke around nearly as much as a purple hawke. can you imagine falling in love with someone who's often all smiles, doesn't take things too seriously (or seriously enough), and is the one to always lighten the mood and bring some whimsy into your life? they waited for you for three years, but the passing of their mother and the state of the city, and, well, everything, changed them. (purple -> red). they don't smile as much, they're far more serious and grounded (maybe a bit too serious), the whimsy they once had is all but gone. smiling and laughter and groaning at stupid jokes isn't filling your lives anymore. it's still there but there's so much less of it. the tragedy of turning into the funny one in a relationship. trying to up your game to make the one who always made you smile, cheer up, even if it's just a little. even if it won't change what happened. maybe one day, years from now, you'll be groaning at awful puns all day long again, but you wouldn't change it for the world.
