Skyrim Enjoyers I’m pleading with you to play the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod. I went into it thinking it was just a mod for displaying all your treasures but now I have like 10 new blorbos who are excellently written and voice acted. It is so much bigger than a mod has any right to be; it’s easily the size of the base game and it adds so many interesting locations and items to find. It’s all SO creative and well done I literally can’t recommend it enough and also can’t describe the sheer magnitude of detail it has. I know I sound like a video game reporter but I’m BEGGING you to do a new Skyrim run in 2023 with this mod

Gotta love how the Legacy Of The Dragonborn mod for Skyrim has a segment that's just straight up horror. Like it's cute to channel your inner dragon and collect a dragon hoard and put it in a museum that two steps shy of a self insert fanfic. But all of a sudden the game will have a priest show up and go "Museum's haunted." So you go inside where all the furniture is arranged is spoopy ways, and the mannequins are moving about partying. The priest then thinks now's a great time to take a nap in the haunted museum (I'm not kidding). Then you wake up in a hellscape with fire and blood and jumpscares. It's interesting that modding allows people to do that sort of thing, where the mod is truly whatever the modders are feeling like at the moment, but Sudden Horror Game Syndrome is not something that's fun to deal with. It's almost like Sonic.exe with how it's inconspicuous up until it goes full horror.

I guess it's nice that there's a console command to skip the quest, but it's a little weird since it does flesh out some of the background of the museum itself, and I got the warm and fuzzies afterwards, but not again.

Lucien: Guarding the outside in case anything happens.

Veda: Gods above, he's going to be pissed. Fine. *pulling the dagger away from Caryalind* You get one chance, Thallery. Any funny business and your ass is getting sent back to the dominion in a box.

Caryalind: Duly noted. I can promise it won't come to that.

Veda: Good. Let's go introduce you to everyone else. *walking away*

Caryalind: She's.. rather scary, isn't she?

Lucien: You have no idea. In any case, it's a pleasure to have you on board, Caryalind! My name is Lucien Flavius!

Caryalind: As in the researcher Flavius? And the war vetaran? Your family name carries some weight in Cryodil, as I understand.

Lucien: Ahaaa, yes, that would be my father and mother. I, erm.. I do hope the Aldmeri Dominion doesn't.. think of our name as a negative weight?

Caryalind: By all means, my father finds your family relatively harmless, at the moment. You've nothing to fear, if that's what you mean.

Lucien: Oh.. oh good. Brilliant, even! I'm sure we'll get along just fine, then!

Caryalind: I hope we do. Who exactly is this Kaidan that Veda mentioned-?

Kaidan: *from outside* WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THE THALMOR-?!

Lucien: That would be Kaidan!

Fox is about to get her butt handed to her  ^^

She managed to convince Kaidan to play, saying it would be good for her to begin learning strategy and command (the real reason is just because she likes games).  But he is absolutely going to show her no mercy.

Eventually Lucien teams up with Fox to try and help her, but to no avail.

Kaidan doesn’t stop smiling to himself for the rest of the week.  Fox and Lucien begin to spend a lot of time in the library researching military strategy to prepare for next game night  <3

Been playing Legacy of the Dragonborn. Highest of recomendations. Still cancer free. Happily married. Had to share that I'm currently experiencing a weird glitch where all the npcs move at double speed and horses come in cities.
