I don't think there's a #film I feel more for, or have rewatched more than #WongKarWai #王家卫's #HappyTogether #春光乍泄. From the first line 'Shall we start over again' on, I have been enveloped again and again in this #stasis where two individuals from #HongKong are lost and trapped between the saturated #Ekachromes and #BlackAndWhites of #ChristopherDoyle's #expired rolls of donated film. 20 years on, the spectre of #1997 haunts. It's incredible that the one poignant look at the return of Hong Kong to #China is shot almost in its entirety outside of the #continent of #Asia, inching away every moment. For me, this is always and forever the one #masterpiece of #WKW. Re-Watched the the classic from John Woo - A Better Tomorrow (1986). It’s such a great film and possibly the beat John Woo. Great action, great characters with a real emotional heart.
