Gill Button

Born in 1973, lives and works in London

/Having graduated with a BA (hons) in Illustration in 1995, London based artist Gill Button has enjoyed a successful career illustrating for clients such as varied as British Airways, Vanity Fair, The Times, Gallimard Jeunesse and The UN. Having worked to brief for many years, Gill’s primary focus is now on creating her own work, predominantly concentrating on her lifelong passion for capturing the human form. With several exhibitions under her belt, including the highly prestigious Threadneedle Prize for Figurative Art, her work is now in private collections across the world including New York, Paris, London, Milan and Shanghai.
