All my life, a prevailing purpose has ruled almost every function of my being - travel as a way of life. This is a privilege but it is also a labor of love to be able to travel for a living. Once that privilege is diminished, one must find a way to uphold the purpose. It isn't merely with physical transference from one place to the next but the immersion with nuances of culture, history, landscape, current events, and the people. We are currently bound with restrictions and are wary to travel due to the lack of ease and safety. However, our travel journey can take place even when we haven't yet left our homes. With so many online resources available, it can be overwhelming and it's only with personal on-location experience that some nuances are discovered. Since I started traveling solo almost over a decade ago, I embarked with #slowtravel and spent two to three weeks in one place before moving on. The goal was always to acquire knowledge of these nuances. Bühnenprobe im Rössli Vor einigen Wochen durften wir mit Cecile und Nathalie das erste Mal, das Rössli in Illnau besichtigen. Hier wird kommendes Wochenende unsere Dance Gallery #10frames Aufführung stattfinden. Wahnsinnig, die beiden Saale, welche zu einem werden, haben eine Kapazität für 413 Zuschauer pro Show. So viele Fragen sind durch unsere Köpfe gegangen: Wie wird die Bühne aussehen, wenn sie fertig eingerichtet ist? Wie gross ist das Bühnenbild? Werden unsere Eltern uns vom Publikum aus sehen können?

 Etc.

Als wir auf der Bühne standen, haben wir die Aufregung bereits ein wenig gespürt. Von hier aus werden wir für unsere Eltern, Grosseltern, Geschwister, Verwandte und Freunde performen. Somit müssen die Choreographien wirklich sitzen, denn vor uns steht kein Spiegel mehr. Wir blicken dann in die erwartungsvollen Augen der Zuschauer. Krass!! Wir streichen mit unsern Füssen, in Schuhen und Barfuss, über den Boden, um ein Gefühl für die Bühne zu bekommen. Können wir Drehungen machen, können wir uns auf dem Boden wälzen, wie sieht es aus mit Sprüngen? Verschiedenste Bewegungen haben wir ausprobiert. Es ist ein total anderes Gefühl als in der Dance Gallery. Es wundert uns schon, wie dann alles aussieht, wenn die Requisiten und das Licht vor Ort sind. Wir schliessen alle unsere Augen und stellen uns vor, dass wir mit unseren Kostümen und einer beleuchteten und ausgestatteten Bühne die Aufführung eröffnen. Was für ein magisches Gefühl das wohl sein wird?! 
Hoffentlich vergessen wir vor Lampenfieber die Choreographien nicht oder fallen von der Bühne. In weiser Voraussicht begutachteten Cecile und Nathalie alle möglichen Stolperfallen. Auf den Seiten hat es Treppen, da sollen wir Acht geben und nicht herunterspringen. Ach, let’s stay positive, wird schon alles schief gehen. Wir freuen uns auf jeden Zuschauer und werden definitiv unser bestes geben. Bis dahin setze ich mir den Kopfhörer mit der Musik zu den Choreographien über die Ohren und gehe die Tanzschritte in meinen Gedanken durch. Es soll ja alles klappen am Wochenende.
