It's October, my Witches!

Hope you've all had a fabulous week! I must admit September for my family has been a big adjustment with my eldest starting Secondary School and the new routine after all the months off with the Lockdowns.

5 things positive things that happened for us in September:

1. Oscar and Trix are back at their Clubs - Beavers, Scouts, Football and Swimming.

2. I had my second Coronavirus jab - of course there's mixed opinions on that and I accept everyone's various thoughts and choices on the matter.

3. Winnie and I have started baby groups again - now I can enjoy a hot cuppa and a biscuit and chat to people above the age of 11.

4. Been enjoying local activities at the weekend as a family.

5. This weekend the kids and I have had a lay in - perfection.

Whose actually in denial it's October again? Because I 100% am. The older I get I swear I blink and a years gone! Don't even get me started on Christmas - blink and it's here.

The hot days of summer frolicking is now behind us with the new season 🍂 Whose more than ready to trade out those flipflops for boots & go for a brisk walk among the changing leaves? You've maybe got all kinds of fun activities to cross off your Autumn bucket list that can be enjoyed in the cooler temps of October - for me I enjoy all the Halloween movies and hot chocolate. It's also practically a law that you take that annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Also Halloween soon - spooky films, the sweets, Halloween costumes and (hopefully this year) discos and Trick or Treating... I'm all about the 'hygge' vibes - so the only thing getting lit this weekend is the wood burner while I listen to the crackle of wood.
