The little girl and the sun
Once upon a time there was a little girl who became friends with the sun. The sun was vibrant, and full of life, and the two were fast friends.
The little girl admired the sun a lot, as the sun was always happy, as well as outgoing, cheerful, able to make friends easily, and everyone loved the sun. The little girl on the other hand, was quiet and shy. Even so, they were best friends. Sometimes the little girl the thought herself as the moon, only slightly reflecting the sun’s light.
The two seemed to get into many adventures that the sun started. And as the years went on, the little girl hoped and wished she was more the sun instead of herself, but even so, was fiercely loyal to the sun. She would never let anyone say any bad word about her best friend, the sun. The little girl never complained when the sun never asked about the little girl’s problems and the little girl was thankful of that, as she would rather deal with the sun’s problems instead, as that made her happy. And the little girl grew more and more depressed, the sun was her only happiness. For as much as the little girl was loyal to the sun, the sun was loyal to the little girl.
But sooner or later, the sun started to not understand her wonderful light as the little girl could, and started to seclude herself from the rest of the world. The little girl, on the other hand, started to find her own light. The little girl decided to help the sun shine and let her new friends become friends with her sun.
The little girl made a promise to herself that she would always protect and help the sun in any way she could, and so she did. Though soon, the little girl wanted to follow her dream that would take her away from her best friend, the sun. And even though she followed that dream, she never forgot the sun, and keeps hoping the sun is doing well, as nothing will make the little girl happier than knowing that the sun she admired for so many years was okay.
And the little girl knows in her heart that a life without her best friend, the sun, would be meaningless, and hopes that until they live nearby once again, that the sun will be her wonderful self.
Because the little girl talks about and thinks about the sun a lot, though she does not contact the sun. But she wants the sun to know that the sun can find her own light once more, and that the little girl still thinks of her.
Okay, now you've gone and made me cry
