am i tripping or am i seeing more youtubers change their thumbnails and video titles a few hours after uploading?

like it's not uncommon to see ppl use more clickbaity fake-drama video titles for algorithmic reasons, but lately and more specifically i've been seeing these L.A. youtubers upload videos with titles that are more... abrasive and somewhat problematic lol? and then some hours later it'll be updated to have more PC language. like either these major channels are suddenly forgetting how to not offend people or they're employing the "get clicks by being a certain acceptable amount of incorrect and reasonably mistaken" and it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth

#when i mean problematic vs pc i mean it's usual racial #like brad mondo had a video where WHITE HAIRDRESSER REACTS TO BLACK GIRL SILK PRESSES or smthn to that effect #which isn't like. horrible i guess #but after some time it changed to HAIRDRESSER REACTS TO CURLY HAIR TRANSFORMATIONS or smthn like that w zero acknowledgement #try guys released smthn like Asian Soup Taste Test Battle #then it switched to Keith Eats Japanese Ramen and Vietnamese Pho #and it's like. yes it's small but i would say the distinction is somewhat important #especially when nowadays i sort of roll my eyes at white content creators who keep making themselves judges/experts of ethnic dishes #like this wasn't a trend before but i'm seeing it now #and i'm starting to wonder if these 'vetted' channels are chasing the algo in fucked up ways #woohoojazelyn thoughts
