I don’t think I’ll ever know peace until we get an official sb remaster. I need to play the intended game SO badly it’s unreal.

Most people want a remaster already, and I think they should seriously consider it. I want to see a glow up so bad. I don’t want Vanny Vanessa to return in a new game, I think that would undo what little of an arc she has, but I just really want her done well in sb. I want the other characters to be given better treatment too, as tired as people are with the setting and characters, they don’t feel finished and I don’t feel satisfied. Besides, a very strong criticism I have with sb is that it lacks outside characters and world-building, so to go back and give mentions to book characters/events would completely revitalize the game and keep Tales relevant. I get they’re working on other projects atm and don’t even want to look in sb’s direction but man, they’re gonna have to address the game’s issues eventually

man I wish it was possible for them to remaster SB but it just isnt. scott calls the shots at the end of the day, and because SB wasnt how he envisioned it (because he didnt tell them any fucking thing) is why it ended up like this. the version of SB we saw in trailers and promotional material was STEEL WOOLS version, their ideas and campaign. and because they thought afton was the villain, they designed the story around afton. lines from trailers like "you will do as I say, both of you will burn" were 100% him, and would have been majorly story relevant. the whole reason SB got canned was because they had to course correct to mimic, and they can salvage nothing but they couldnt salvage the completely wrong villain

and weve been in this 'mimic course correction and history lesson' era for soo long. I'm just as ready as you to finally get justice for the SB plots and characters, but I dont think it'll be in the form of a remaster. a remaster would mean remaking the game either with mimic as a villain, greatly changing it, or restoring SWs afton plot, and I just can't see it happening

but the good news is that theres no way in hell they arent building up vanny to be important again, with the entire nature of Vannys face being spread around for employees to use and her tagging still existing and cassie in ruin wearing her face. especially with lines like "that mask suits you" I cant see a world where she doesnt make a comeback inside cassie and has another chance to shine

also with ggy hints and just. the end of the mimics reign of terror being marked with sotm, theres gonna finally be room after the mimic shit for steel wool to actually cook with writing again, and theyll be collabing with Scott so theyll hopefully have the same level of great writing as ruin did, and also the tapes in SB

it sucks that it ended up this way but were on track to at least seeing their potential realized in a different kind of campaign, which is all I've wanted for 3 years lmaoo. steel wool just truly has not had room to talk about them with all this focus on mimic and prequels and the past and shit, where they wouldnt be relevant. after the mimic is finally just. IN the stupid story already, theyll be progressing it finally and ggy vanny vanny!cassie vanessa Gregory freddy etc will all finally at least be on track to appearing again. I'll take any Ws I can get. SW is genuinely good at writing the human characters if how they wrote cassie is any indication, so once they actually SHOW UP again, which has been the problem this whole time, then we'll be talking

GREY'S ANATOMY 16X15 REVIEW

Wow, is the first thing that comes to mind with that episode, it's the first one I enjoyed so much in years. It wasn't like the old Grey's good, but I certainly enjoyed it. Now with that being said, onto the reviews.

The craziest ones first.

Deluca

Oh boy, where do I start?........ Deluca ran out in a blizzard to have collect a liver WITHOUT GLOVES and ended up with frostbite. He is currently clearly having some mental issues and I hope that they're able to treat that soon before he's fired. Sure, he saved a kid's life and before that he saved Suzanne's life but what happens when his luck runs out? His hands are going to be out of commission for a while and I hope that he gets some help by then because something is definitely up with him and the way he's acting with the people around him is becoming harsh, which means the problem is getting worse.

Meredith/Dr Haynes

Lumping them into one section seeing that were together for most of the night. Haynes is definitely enjoying having conversations with Meredith. In a way if they were to get together this would be the best way to do it. Too many relationships in Grey's start with sex first talk later and it worked for Meredith with Derek but it didn't for pretty much everyone else in the show, not everything is like the Mc Dreamy situation.

Must admit I enjoy the interactions but, I'm still not at shipper level yet. The bonding over their past spouses and raising kids ......☺☺☺. He had me going at first when he said Christina never mentioned Meredith, but turns out she just calls her the twisted sister, fair enough, I wouldn't be surprised if Christina had planned to set him up with Mer since the first time they spoke. On another note his passion for his patients is very admirable, hes not Alex Karev level yet. But I like him.

Meredith is trying with Deluca more than she did for Maggie when she was in her slump🤔🤨. She really has no plot right now, the show at this point might as well be called anatomy. She's trying to help Deluca, but only gets abuse in return, I really am praying that he is sick if not........😡🤬.

Then theres her and Haynes budding friendship. But that's pretty much all for Meredith.

Jo and Alex

WTF, Alex better be dead or I'm going to be disappointed, he never even went to his mother's house and has been ghosting everyone......... excuse me what? I'm not seeing any proper valid excuse for the nonsense that is this plot. Why are they doing this? All of his progress is regressing. Next week is his final episode and it better have a valid explanation.

Jo is understandably a reck, I kind of enjoyed her sass though. I'm honestly confused. (Did he go after Izzie cause that would really be insane.) I understand they wanted to make it as painless as possible for Jo, but how is this better? She's heartbroken, they would have been better off if he'd died instead. I'm curious to know where the hell he is though.

But at least we got to see her have some support even if Link is a wreck as well.

Teddy/Owen/Koracick

This story line definitely was the biggest WTF moment I was not expecting that from Teddy and more importantly the stupid Owen, Teddy, Koracick triangle starts again, but this time with a side of Amelia like OMG please stop🙄. Props to Teddy for being able to add up dates or having intuition or whatever her reason was for knowing. Although she could have discussed first instead of having pent up feelings that have now been released in the form of a huge mistake.

Poor Koracick at the end of the day Teddy and Owen will probably patch up the relationship and he'll be left once again heartbroken. I wish he had, had the strength to reject her. He's always the scape goat when her and Owen are having issues.

Owen, actually was being a good spouse and got cheated on but I guess Karma comes back around. He, just saved a baby and mom and asked Teddy If she wanted to ski for this episode. But I'm sure he's going to have a major storyline soon along with the others in this mess.

This love triangle just got even more complicated, especially if Amelia and Owen starts to catch feelings again.

Richard

I'm actually perturbed by him tonight. Is he retiring? Better not be if he wants to stop preforming surgery, fair enough but he needs to be the intern director or something I can't have him leaving too after Karev, he can't give up too.

He found inspiration from a new intern. I thought she was going to be the new Dr Bailey for him. But nope she's not even a doctor. Her story was touching, but was she really going to cut into a patient with only barely having been in med school. How did she think that was going to work out? And poor Richard he was finally starting to get that teaching spark in his eyes again, only to find out she wasn't even a registered doctor. At the end he talked to her about never giving up, gives her his sethescop and says he no longer need it, like I said before they better not get rid of Richard as well, and where is Catherine? For someone who fought hard enough to buy a whole hospital for him to have to be around her, she sure is absent.

Miranda Bailey

She spent the whole time helping Joey study for his GED and then took him on a tour of the hospital to see job options and it was just adorable, their banter is hilarious and is it me or is he going to be a surgeon. He was so interested in them saving the baby and the mom.

And as expected she has decided to adopt Joey however it happened like I didn't want it to..... really fast. So fast that she didn't even bother to inform her husband and I know Joey and Tuck were playing video games and getting along but does he understand that he's about to have a new brother?

I knew a Ben and Bailey fight was coming and I guess now it has (they've been too happy and no couple in Grey's stays happy for long. Luckily it seems like an easy fix.)

Link is ultimately depressed and it's sad because that means that he really did truly love Amelia,he should have taken some personal days as well because being depressed at work is never a good idea. I really hope that they aren't trying to set him up to be with Jo, I like their brother sister support system.

Nico and Levi

Now I love my boy Levi, but sometimes I feel like being a surgeon is not for him. He fainted in the OR twice, cried when he had to give the patient bad news and then lost a patient, I hope he gets it together soon before he kills someone.

Now as for his love life Idk what the hell happened. Nico took a 360 turn. Maybe he's bipolar as well, because I am lost. He's being such a douche, sure Levi's almost child like innocence and need to over share can be annoying at times but he deserves an explanation, he ditched his family for you because he pretended to be a fully open gay. The least he could do is give an explanation. Can't believe the way they're relationship is turning. I think this may be the beginning of the end for them. I hope not, they were good together.

Barely raised his head up from carrying on the work of Mark Sloan to fight with his new girlfriend Vic. Which I'm sure is not over they apologized but, that 2nd fight is coming soon.

No plot really besides being salty about no longer being chief, saving 2 lives, then confirming to Teddy that she's not crazy for thinking that Amelia's baby is Owen's and apparently giving her the courage she needed to cheat on Owen with Tom.

• Will they finally give Maggie's character something to do besides supporting people. She had like one or two 5 minute plot for like the past few seasons.

Its kind of sad and delves into a certain the past from a loong time ago. A young Calliope who was lonely.

Even though Calliope wasn’t known as Calliope then, she will be referred to as Death/Life in different situations through this. So i apologize if it gets confusing. This also may get long.

Warning as there is a death in it

Little Death

She did it, she created another like her. There was a word for who they were, she heard it over and over again. She made a sister, somewhat different in appearance but exactly the same in ability.

The girl in front of her stared up her in awe, “Who are you?” “I am Life, I am your big sister.” she stated holding out a hand for the little sister to grab. She reached up and grabbed Life’s hand. She was pulled up and took a look at her surroundings, “Where am I?” “You are home.” replied Life, “You can make your own space if you wish. You have the means too.” The girl looked at Life with a smile, “I’d like that very much.” Life gave a small smile in return. Now she wasn’t so lonely. She had a family

Things went well in the realm of Life, her new sister adjusting to it well. She created her own space, a small area full of vibrant plants. Of any colors she could think of. Life watched as her little sister explored the realm in which they lived and gained inspiration from the living things she made. It was something that caused a feeling of pride to well up in Life’s chest. Life thought for a moment, “Little sister, would you like to join me outside?” She looked up excitedly, “Theres more?” Life nodded, “Of course, this is home yes but there is more out there. So much more to see, hear, smell, and touch.”

She looked up smiling and hurried over, “I wish to see it all.” She reached out her hand to Life who took hold of it. Life led her out into the multiverse, a new feeling stirring in Life’s chest. Excitement.

Life brought her little sister to a planet teeming with living things. Creatures of all sorts moved about, open fields full of plant life and pools of clear water.

Her hand slipped from Lifes as she took steps forward. Her eyes seeming to twinkle as she stared in awe at everything.“What...what is all of this? Its so...amazing!”

Life watched her little sister with a warmth and nodded, “It is isn’t it. Want to explore a bit?” Her sister nodded excitedly and started to run about. Life followed after her. Her sister adored all that the planet had to give.

A while later she was sitting near a pool, little animals surrounding her. Life came over to her, the animals seemed to panic and leave. Leaving her wondering why till she turned to Life and gasped. Life was no longer smiling and took a seat next to her sister. “What happened to the grass around you.”

“It died.” responded Life.

She looked down, “Why did it die?”

“Things die around me.” explained Life.“But don’t you bring things to life?” her sister asked“Yes, but...I am also Death.”Her sister laughed causing Life to look at her. “Do you mind if I call you Death instead, it sounds so much cooler.” she asked. Death looked surprised but nodded, “If that is what you’d like then it is perfectly alright.”

“So can I do that?” she asked. Death nodded, “Yes, you can. I don’t do it on purpose all the time though. this was an accident...again.” “An accident? Am I going to have a hard time with it?” she thought aloud. Death turned to her and placed a hand upon hers, “No, I wont let that happen. We will learn together.” Her sister smiled brightly, “Sounds like fun!”

They sat together keeping hold of one anothers hand.

The two sister started to get a handle on their abilities. Though taking life and sudden creation of it still happened, it was less often than before. Death was quiet satisfied. Her sister though had seemed to be in some thought. It was apparent what it was when she approached her. “Death, can I ask you something.”

“Of course, what is it little sister?”  she replied.

“Can you call me Little Death?” She asked with a tilt of her head and a smile.

Death stared  at her curiously before nodding, “Yes I suppose that would be alright. Little Death it is then.” Little Deaths smile grew wide, “perfect~” And she skipped off to do her own thing. Death couldn’t help but feel something in the pit of her stomach, she ignored it though thinking perhaps it was nothing.

Death heard something and looked up, a visitor was here and at such an odd time. A limb appeared, then another and another till finally the visitor was in full view.

She stood up to greet the other Elder, “Omen what brings you here.” Omen seemed to just stare at her for a moment, many would have been uncomfortable in the silence that followed but Death was not. They had many moments like this before. “You saying such a thing I find Ironic, when you know well why I come in such....odd times”“Are you saying you bring an Omen”

“Yes”“To me? I don’t think that possible for me to suffer anything. I am Death.”

“You are Death yes, but an Omen I bring none the less. What it is I can not say precisely, but I can give you a hint.” Death tilted her head in thought, “Like a game almost, a guessing game.” “precisely, a guessing game. The Doom is close to you I fear.”Death still did not seem to comprehend what they meant. “I’m sorry, I do not understand.”Omen seemed to crouch as they got closed, their masked face just a foot away from her own, “The Doom is close to you dear, you brought it upon yourself.”

Death thought some more, that could mean anything. Did she anger some living beings with her abilities. Could it perhaps be Little Death. It couldn’t be, Little Death was her little sister. She clearly cared for Death. “Well I know what it couldn’t be.” she replied. Omen continnued staring at her, “oh? and what is it not then?”“It can not be Little Death, she cares for me as I care for her.” explained Death. Omen just stood up, and repeated, “The Doom is close to you.” Before vanishing into thin air.

The pit in Deaths stomach seemed to worsen and she wondered if perhaps something was wrong with Little Death.

After that the two sisters seemed to grow closer, or Little Death seemed to grow closer to Death. Clinging to her when she could, but when she wanted to be alone she would start to get aggressive.

This of course made Death think back to what Omen said a long while back. It was only four years ago and nothing bad had happened. So she wondered if perhaps the Doom had passed her by. Death wondered if something was the matter, perhaps something was bothering Little Death.

Still she would check on her sister Little Death.

Death looked everywhere in their realm for Little Death. But could not find her, except there was one more area. A special place she showed Little Death. She would have to check there.

When she entered the area, she was appalled by what she saw. There stood Little Death surrounded by an image of one of the billions of universes. She was destroying it. Planets were being burned, The death of stars, and more. Little Death was killing off so many living beings and the worst of it was, she seemed to be enjoying it.

Death yelled, “What do you think you are doing!”

Catching Little Death offguard, who recovered quickly and smiled, “Doing our job.” “That is not your job, it is mine. I did not give you permission to kill off an entire universe!”  shouted Death.

Little Death seemed to roll her eyes, “and I never asked.” She continued what she was going, “Besides I have a better idea. I think I should be Death, you can be Life or whatever. But this part of the job is way more fun.” she laughed. Death  clenched her fists, “I think you have the wrong idea about what I do.”

Little Death smirked, “It’s a real shame nobody asked for your opinion” She found another planet until she was lept upon by Death. Little Death hissed and scratched at her. They wrestled each other upon the ground. The image of the dying universe vanished from the air as they fought.  “I created you! I can unmake you!” Shouted Death who deep down really didn’t want to. Little Death was family, it was the most happy she had ever felt.

Little Death hissed, “You made me equal to you, and I’m going to kill you First, and then I’ll kill everything else!” she kicked Death in the stomach knocking her back.

Death hurried out of the way as Little Death jumped at her claws raised. Little Death landed on the ground instead so Death took her chance. She would have to do the one thing she didn’t wish. She climbed on top of Little Death placed a hand upon her head. “No get off me! What are you doing!” She struggled but less and less the longer Death held her hand upon her. Death looked away biting her lip.

Little Death struggled less, her breathing becoming raggid. Her eyes seemed to grow heavy and her entire being seemed to flicker in and out of existence until she was completely gone.

Death took her hand away and held it, sitting on the floor quietly.

She wasn’t sure how long she stayed there, but it was clear she was not alone in that room. “I know you are there Omen.”

“You used your hand of death trick. I can not say if the choice you made was the most rash, or good choice but you made a choice.” Death peeked at him from the corner of her eye.

“I am a neutral party, but I think it was one of the better options. I know you must be...upset.”

Death said nothing and only sighed.

“I will leave you be for now.”

Death sat there now alone, in the quiet room. Contemplating her choices up to that point and wondered what if.

That’s the plan. I do definitely need to sort out a website though sometime. If this experience has shown me anything it’s that relying on a single resource is a baaaad idea.

That’s been on the books for awhile where certain slaves will be very dangerous to have as a bedwarmer. For a start those mantras coming in the next update just might end up being used on you in future updates.

That other one is a temporary bodge of their thoughts to overwhelm their resistance. In future though there will be more permanent alterations possible like with slaves in the next update.

Previous anon here who was asking for the fourth-wall purge. Yes, I am aware that there's a quest to remove unwanted slavers. However, since you can't reliably force it to pop, its usefulness is inconsistent at best. Also, it gives a payout and only works on slavers - the purge I'm asking for would be more universal and give nothing. Just a convenient deletion to improve gameplay. The accompanying picture could be a screaming stickman being sucked into a black hole.

I’d prefer to fix bugs rather than do workarounds if possible. Been down that path before and it only complicate things badly. 

The reason why there’s no outright dismiss a slaver is that from the beginning on of the challenges I wanted was some of your own slavers so just booting them would lose a lot of fun possibilities. 

Saying that I do want to do more with morale/reputation so that slavers have a chance to get fed up enough that you can drive them away. I’m also planning a new assignment which will be a risk free depending on choices way to dump unwanted slaves without need for chancing the Whore Makers.

Maybe not near, near future, but certainly sooner rather than later as both I want to have as encampment roles. Next update also has some of the groundwork for enchanting. 

Yes absolutely more training is coming including bimbo training in the next update.

So just had an interesting bug. I took a slave to auction, my camp leader going along on the assignment, got a critical result, and while the assignment said that the slave was sold, she ended up coming back with me. Some factors that may have had an effect: Had gotten word that bimbo slaves were in demand, and the slave was indeed a bimbo and my leader has Inquisitor, which activated giving me an assignment.

First one I’ve sorted for the update. 

Other was that slave bimboborn? Cause I think that might be causing issues with selling.

My current plan is to use hypnotic to tackle those unwanted mental traits. Certainly not a bad idea though. 

Decided that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pull in questions from other sources to give as much info as possible out in one place at one time. So going forward I’m also going to be including some of the questions asked elsewhere along with including the answers I made. 

From TFGames: I'm a little confused as to biomancy and hypnotism and changing other characters. The odds seem to really not like being "in the field" but I can't figure out where else to be? Also, I can't seem to figure out what hypnotic triggers actually do when you put them on a slaver. Is there a way to alter someone's personality via hypnotism or domination? In terms of customization and exporting... is it just the char-gen where you can export a character? Is there a way to say, see a slave get captured, manipulate or change them via training and influence, turn them into a slaver and then export that character and see what happens on their career? Alternatively, is there a way to change the names of the slaves you capture and slavers you recruit? For say, immersion purposes >.> Or generate and specify your own "number two" ?

Hypnotic triggers on slavers currently are used for respect checks which are when a slaver doesn't want to do something like go whore themselves out, where a slutty outfit, or be corrupted and you need to persuade them. Using the triggers is a lot more effective than some of the other options. In the next update triggers will also be used on slaves to help with their training and unlock new bonuses. In future those slave mantras will be able to be used on anyone including yourself, and I'm also planning extra usage to deal with annoying traits like reserved and unhinged. Currently it's just the main character. I'd like to do more, but given I also want to move away from rags I'm not planning to do anything with it for now. There is an option to nickname under help and options. I don't think it's ideal though in the current implementation and it needs another look sometime.

Being possessed is the main one which is a rare outcome from corruption which then has a bunch of follow up text at end of day, during respect checks, and leadership challenges. The Quick as You Like mini-adventure if you go on it assignment has MC content, especially if you 'win' the race. There's the hidden cults when you go into town where you can lose control. There also might be some assignments that have a bit of MC action if you go on them. If you're submissive there's also mind control content in the story line assignment to unlock the hidden area and slave auctions.

From the Patreon: A suggestion to add more interplay with your slavers in NH - in the "Talk" menu add a topic called "ask for rumours" where you can ask your slavers if they have any leads/tips. Depending on certain factors they could offer you a tip-off for a mission (type & quality determined by slavers type and your relation with them), to be added to your list, in exchange for gold/supplies/days off/sexual favours. Could also lead into leadership challenges if you rely too much on a slaver. Slavers could also have an x% chance of approaching you for a chat each day and ask you for things and you could choose what to charge them (no charge leads to a relation increase, refusing outright leads to a decrease). Would be a way of getting slavers to wear things/do things that they otherwise wouldn't and vice-versa. Looking forward to the update.

i mean my issue is SHOULD the docs daughter get a unique design? like.... shes not a character. she exists, in the world, you can fight her in the big city and post game you can go to the little town where she and rhia live with Doc and you can interact with her about the stuff that happened (as she has returned home following the Chaos thing) but like.... shes not a haracter??? unless the ~post game~ involves her in some way, which it could, id be down for her being relevant in the post game, though idk how. esp considering i dunno what the post game would be. like... theres a couple of ideas. Hunting CEO, hunting Rhia, and finding the e4 member that fucked off. because like, the WHOLE reason you can have Rhia/Elliot as an e4 member is because someone left and on short notice they called elliot to fill in (and he could pass that duty to rhia in reconcile ending)

so like. what. docs daughter is only relevant to a Rhia hunt, which also wouldnt work in a reconcile end because Rhia’s in the e4 and shes fine. in an end where she and elliot dont make up, she COULD vanish, but i feel like itd be way more fun to have her whereabout be unknown in that case. besides, where’d she go? probably Unova to stay with the man whose legally her father but bear in mind theres fake paperwork involved. or shes out hunting CEO, which she can easily do anyway (though branching cutscenes in a Hunt CEO route based on whether shes there or not might be fun)

one idea is, Hunt CEO, and the docs daughter is in charge. why? her dear dads request. because now she knows he was in team whatsit (because of his ENTIRE FAMILY shes the only one who didnt know, poor thing) and she wants to get rid of all thats left of it so her dad can live a normal life, or something. she calls you to her home town, and she talks you through it, you go on a couple of lil trips around the region to fight team whatsit members. and you might encounter Rhia doing the same thing. like on one occasion, she saves your hide. her outfits change based on the end (which would be demonstrated in the Reconcile/Split cutscene with Elliot) so you’d have a visual signifier to tell them apart. but her purpose is different, too. sorta. in reconcile, her hunting down Team Whatsit is part of The Deal she’s made, like she’s doing this for the police. in split, shes doing it for herself. fun lil split. shed probably show up when you finally confront CEO at the end of the post game. the docs daughter would be there too. the doc is nowhere to be seen.

maybe CEO even kidnaps the docs daughter. that’d be fun. itd convince the Doc to join her in reforming team whatsit after its shattering at your hands, and it could also convince Rhia to come back. of course, it does the opposite. DOC is MIA for the postgame (in that hes in Extensive Talks with the Police) and Rhia is fucking livid at the daughters kidnapping, no matter what. she’d contact you for the final bit. you find her where you’d normally find the daughter. no matter what ‘end’ you got, shes dressed for a Fucking Fight. like, the outfits would be different to reflect the reconcile/split, but shes out for blood.

oh dude. i also wanna play up the ‘pokemon can hurt ya’ thing here. like, you and rhia approach CEO. you can see the daughter in a cell nearby. Rhia tells you to free her while she deals with CEO. heres the thing - ceo KNOWS rhia is probably better than her in a fight. she also knows you’re better than her in a fight, youve beaten her before. so what she does is she tries to take you BOTH out before you can summon pokemon. uses like, a carnivine to whack yall around. sends Rhia flying off screen to the daughters absolute wails. wraps you up and holds you high. shes not going to let you two ruin her plans. if you wont join her, you will be Removed. then. idk. legendary saves your ass. your bff appears. thatd be fun. idk i just like the idea of rhia, regardless of route, just getting fucking wasted for Drama. not something where Lance goes ‘move’ and is implied to have hyper beamed a guy whose totally fine, like you see a woman standing tall and proud and then shes vanished for like..... 5 minutes and all you can tell of her condition is the only other person in the room wailing while youre focused on the Big Bad.

then you beat Ceo with the power of your Divine Purity Of Heart and you knock her out, so that you can call the police. but they arrive very shortly after, before you can. Rhia, over in a corner, near curled into a ball, sent out a message to them while you fought CEO before she passed out. the Doc is there. you free the daughter and she and him run to Rhia’s side while the police take you aside and thank you while carrying CEO away.

no matter what end she got, you will go home and be called by the docs daughter back to her place. when you arrive, Rhia is there, with a few bandages but otherwise alright, and wearing her regular (per end) outfit. and then some gushy shit.

though i also like the idea of you directly saving her life too.  not just in the ‘oh i stopped CEO and she wouldve killed you if i hadnt’ im talking like ‘took a bullet for you babe’. though maybe Elliot should fill that role. ooh, that makes sense. means regardless of the ending they got (Reconcile/split) he comes to save her. like, rhia gets knocked away and you get a nice visceral thud off screen that sounds pretty brutal. daughter screams. youre frozen in place (or held in place, haha, there you go), and CEO taunts you and the aughter over it. the camera pans over to Rhia struggling to get up, and you see CEO prepare to deal Rhia a (probably) fatal blow. and then, BAM. its elliot. hes here. he’s in the way. he’s on the ground. Rhia screams. daughter screams. CEO screams. you scream too, probably, but less because of elliot and more because the carnivine was so surprised it just dropped you. not far, mind you, like half a metre, but you fall on your ass in surprise. Rhia freaks out immediately, like shes losing her shit, because even if this is split ending where she hates elliot, elliot just ‘took a bullet’ for her, holy shit, holy shit, oh my god, oh fuck, oh fuck, is he ok, oh my fucking god.

and then she makes eye contact with you. you nod. you charge CEO while shes distracted. a pokemon battle ensues. you cant see whats happening while youre battling, of course, because thatd be Ridiculously Unfeasible (beyond how unfeasible this shit is already). you fight CEO. she totters backward and recalls her carnivine (her last pokemon, like itd be programmed in that the pokemon that wrapped you up is the last pokemon she sends out). and shes furious. and she actually reaches for one of the doc’s daughters pokemon, which she’d comandeered when she kidnapped her. and she summons it. its the pokemon that Rhia gave to the daughter. it takes one look around. it fucks up the CEO’s day. just. whap. there she goes. seeya darl. immediate karma. it roars loud, nigh shakes the building.

you run forward and grab the cell key from CEO. you free the daughter. she sprints to Rhia and Elliots side, and you join them.

is elliot ok? probably not. not like, dead, but like, Fucked Up. in fact, itd be cool if this affected split route, because it means he cant perform e4 duties, and rhia’d take charge. meaning theres a change in the e4 in the post game if you do it. fuck. fuck imagine that. only in split ending though. him being out of action in reconcile doesnt affect the e4 because Rhia already took that role on his behalf. but like. hes fucked up. the daugher is a doctor, shes working on him, you grabbed her pokeballs while you grabbed the key and she summons like a chansey and shit.  everyones frantic. theres closure to the rhia/elliot thing, esp for split route, because now rhia has to accept that elliot has changed. on some level. hence she then takes his e4 spot like she does in reconcile. that’d be sweet. dunno how itd really impact a reconcile route though. idk thats dumb.

then the police come and they take elliot and CEO away. they came with some docs because they expected this wouldnt be pretty. maybe DOC is there. he and his daughter/s can have a brief reunion. you all leave, Rhia leaning on doc and daughter.

then the daughter calls you to somewhere else. like, the city pokemon center. you meet her there, and she takes you to the hospital. you get to go further in. elliots there. hes smiling. depending on rhia end, shes either at his side (reconcile) or standing outside the door (split)

theres not much to it after that but i do like the idea of the rhia/elliot thing progressing. involve the daughter as a supporting character. though again, it is weird to continue rhia/elliot past a reconcile route. split route is fun, because it forces rhia to acknowledge she was wrong about him on some level. but with reconcile, she already DID that, when elliot refused to run away in the skyscraper. so theres no point in having the revelation again. hmmmm. maybe it completes the thing for her. because even in reconcile, shes hesitant about elliot, shes not sure if him being ‘good’ was temporary or not. and him taking the shot for her just proves it to her that yea, elliot is a good guy, he did bad shit but hes a good guy, he’s changed, hes a better person. like, no matter what happened in the main story or back story, elliot IS a better person by the end of the game as a whole. at least by Rhia’s metric, though i imagine the player would agree that him fleeing from a person in need to saving that same persons life is a positive change, regardless of the fact that him saving rhia gets his ass so thoroughly whooped hes out of commission for the rest of the game (which is admittedly just post game sandbox but STILL you know)

so i should probably give the daughter a name and a unique design, huh. based on the other doctors (which is a trainer class, no doubt), but with a unique hairstyle and way of presenting herself. maybe she even has some similarities to Rhia. yknow. cause theyre a cute couple no matter what end you get.
