Hey, something I thought about in relation to SOTM and confirmation of the ruin elevator ending...

Dispatch, early on in the game, clearly has static for a long time before speaking; then starts acting less comedic, more upfront and playing things more professionally than before

This seems like Steel Wool really trying to push the fact in our heads, and make it far more obvious, that the Mimic can take over intercoms– just like in ruin.

Wanted to know your thoughts because I don't think anyone picked up on this yet :]

I definitely did notice that glitch in the intercom and Andy performing dispatch as more robotic but I was so focused on other things I didn't linger on it too much at first lol. but yeah I definitely think you could be right. the intercom is the real decider here and not the elevator anyway because if Gregory said his line in the files of "make sure it doesn't follow you" and then the elevator crashed it would clearly be an accident since he told Cassie she was clear to come up 😭

so the intercom is def the right thing to target if they wanted to push it one way or another and they definitely did here. the evidence for Gregory not doing it keeps piling up lol

I do want some explanation about Gregory’s family, because ever human character that was playable (aside from Arnold he’s irrelevant..) has some sort of relative, Vanessa has some confusing lore w her abusive father, Cassie has some lore about her father as well it’s debatable if he was a good father or not I lowkey feel like he was neglectful, now we have a whole Murray family lore, even aftons have lore. The only time his “family” got mentioned is in the tapes and that’s when we barely knew he was patient 46 and it could be unreliable narrative since the therapists don’t know the full story.

yeah for sure, I feel like the best option for revealing what the deal is with his parents is that they're dead bc of ggy. it just makes perfect sense and is simple but effective. Gregory is a tragic character because he's only 12 and his parents were murdered and so were his friends and he lost EVERYTHING to the mimic. that's why an amnesia plotline being used in a game where he goes down memory lane is such a good idea because he'd be finding out about his past and that everyone who ever loved him his dead now. that tragedy works so well for him and it's perfectly possible nowadays because of sotm raising the bar for mature content

he's in his late 20s he has brown skin and kind of darkish dirty blond frizzy not cared for properly curly short hair not straight teeth humongous eye bags and freckles in my head

The way they fleshed out Fiona who was barely in the story of “The Mimic”, maybe they would also flesh out Ellis who was also barley in the story of “GGY”. I would like to see how both his and Tony’s friendship is complicated and a bit toxic.

Yeah Gregory’s life is pretty much ruined and no one’s trusting his ass after this. I’ve never seen a fnaf character so fucked before LMAO. Well, him being a character with found family narratives was nice while it lasted but it IS fnaf after all. Brotha goes beyond being doomed by the narrative I don’t know what you’d call his character

this is so funny like his backstory used to be "homeless orphan" which was already bad enough but it's just spiraled downwards every new piece of information its possession ON TOP of being a homeless orphan and his parents were probably murdered with his own body and so much bad was caused by ggy being in his body and then he gets freed and doesnt even remember anything and will probably have to find out eventually. and then his best friend gets dropped down an elevator and he gets framed for murder after he thought he was safe finally. like jesus
