I really like your blog and writing that's why I would like to make a request :) Could you please write little scenario with Gojo and his fem s/o going for groceries together? Like searching and choosing necessary stuff, buying pastries than carrying bags at home together (with him carrying the heavy ones) and so on :)

↳ barista’s notes : another thing i learnt about from UK english to american english is that they call trolleys ‘shopping carts’ which is understandable but really weird to me, i can’t lie ʕ ᵒ ᴥ ᵒʔ other than that, i hope you enjoy your cup of classic black coffee (jujutsu kaisen request!) and come again soon ʕ •ᴥ•ʔゝ☆

When you go grocery shopping with Gojo, just keep in mind that no matter how many times you put a budget or have a list on what you are going to buy, you will go over the price budget and buy items you didn’t need at all.

When you get to the store, best know it is either one of you in the trolley before you start shopping - it will most likely be Gojo since he has long limbs to stretch out for stuff on the shelves.

However, if he knows you are going to be persistent on not buying any sweets and cakes, he will place you into the trolley so you can’t control where you both are going.

Sometimes Gojo will ride the trolley like he is riding it,  so you know when you push the trolley and stand on the edge of it to make it seem like you are just riding a ski jet….yeah that.

If none of you is in the trolley, he will spin/push the cart to you every now and then, sometimes leading it to hit your back/side.

Of course, you both are serious at the start and buy different vegetables and fruits to keep healthy and any fish/meats if you are not vegetarian/vegan - and you both would talk about how nice it would be to cook together for once.

Sometimes you buy some snacks and food for the students since you know some can’t cook and you are basically their caretaker - you weren’t surprised when Fushiguro asked if he could cook the hotpot with you since he does offer to help from time to time but you were surprised when he was making the meatballs.

However, once you both pass the sweets sections, Gojo already has you pulling back and then processing to stack up the trolley for his sugary cabinet back at your shared home.

And every time you remind him that you both agreed to stay on the budget that you both set for today, he will always remind you that it’s okay and he’ll pay for everything.

He will say that he ‘needs’ them when he really does not.

Sometimes Gojo slips in a few things that he knows you will like - maybe a tiny teddy bear or maybe your favourite chocolates.

You wouldn’t know because your trolley is extremely filled up and other customers would look at you guys with such confusion since they wonder what the hell you need 12 bags of sugar cubs for.

If there are samples around the store, you both have no resistance to them and will try whatever the thing is, Gojo will 100% feed you.

When you are pushing the trolley, Gojo loves to stand behind you and place his hands on top of your because when you come to a stop for something, he would always rest his head on your shoulder to have a peek at what you picked up.

Once you get to the cashier, you both fight over who gets to pay because you feel guilty if you didn’t and Gojo just wanted to pay because he wants to treat you - treat you to what? His 5 packets of cupcakes and 20 packets of sweets?

Of course, in the end, Gojo will pay because he has somehow got you trapped in his arms while he swipes his credit card in the machine - don’t be shocked when the price comes to 3 whole digits.

Just know that you bought everything you needed, but 99.9% of the shopping you guys did was not part of the shopping list at all.

When it comes to going back home, Gojo will take the heavier bags away from you before you could even reach them.

“Baby, are they not heavy? Do you need help?”

“Honey~ I wouldn’t be a gentleman if I didn’t carry the heavy one and don’t worry, I got this~”

Overall, grocery shopping with Gojo is extremely funny, unprepared and chaotic, even though you know you both are going to add more things into the cart, you and him act like you are going to stick to the plan and buy things you only need.
