the wedding I went to recently did make me understand the whole “get a second dress for the reception” thing, the dramatic beautiful dress was great for the ceremony but the bride was having really impeded by it even when it was all bustled up. People kept stepping on it, I’m sure she was overheating. I would want to be able to dance freely if that was me
#do I still believe that it's a conspiracy from the wedding industry to make people spend more money? yes#do I now think that it can be a practical move? yes#like get a cheaper lighter/shorter dress for dancing#I have other Opinions that developed there but I don't think other people care#so maybe it'll just be a diary entry
