my boss just made me feel like shit for isolating while waiting for my pcr test because fridays are busy or whatever and what the hell??
#she told me to do another rapid test and if its negative i have to come in#all this only a few hours before my shift was supposed to be#meanwhile i heard no communication from her since i called off the rest of the week all the way back on wednesday#like if her policy was a negative on a rapid test she could've told me so much sooner??#anyways i dont have a ride because i have no license and my dad needed to know ahead of time so i got out of it#but now my day is pretty much ruined because i feel bad for no good reason#because i literally did nothing wrong here and i was so communicative#and im trying not to make our staffing shortage worse thank you very much#and now if my pcr also comes back negative im going to feel bad#even though IM DOING THE RIGHT THING#im just really annoyed ok#its not like i WANTED to lose the hours#and last summer i never missed a day not even once#i dont call off for fun#anyways im just really annoyed#that was super uncool of her#the work environment at my job is usually pretty friendly and chill so it was totally out of left field#really hoping for that positive test result now#vindication#cloudy rambles
