sometimes its like should i even minor in CS bc 1. its so hard to get into the program at my school and 2. i dont even particularly care abt like, the actual theory of it, i just find programming fun and it’ll be useful for my career in astrophysics, but thats just the ACT of programming, i dont care rlly abt the actual theory of it........

and the more i think abt it the more i do kinda wanna at least minor in physics.......... lowkey wanna double major as well like Every Other Astro Major but idk lol, at the very least i’d like to minor in physics.. but there’s literally no fuckin way i can minor in BOTH physics and CS..........

#physics in high school was TERRIBLEEE #and even physics last semester bc i had a shit prof who didnt care abt actually teaching LMAO #BUT NOW ITS LIKE WAAAAAIT I ACTUALLY LIKE PHYSICS...#even when its disconnected from astronomy LOL.......#the main thing holding me back is that there is a heavy focus on like. electricity + circuits for the general physics stuff #which is the one part of general physics that i actively dislike so like EHHHHHH #but like i definitely wanna take these classes on EM radiation in my junior or senior year like SCREAMS..........#brot posts #my plan is to just take the required CS classes that i need to take before being able to apply for the minor #see if i get into the minor #if i dont then well i am minoring in physics LOL...#and since i wanna minor in physics anyway its like i dont even think i'd be upset if i got rejected from CS LMAO #but my main worry is that my mom is SO fixated on comp sci for some reason #like shes so so excited abt comp sci like even more than my actual astronomy degree...............
