#totk salt#im sorry#but the malice inflicting his body having no impacf#beyond just justifying why we start back at lv.1 stats#is a BIG missed opportunity#we actively see it disperse from his body for every heart/stamina upgrade#so its still in thefe#just image a mechanic where Link can build up Malice from killing enemies#like these little malice particles drop from dead enemies and fly into Link#and pressing a button allows you to activate some Malice Mode#shit it can even be simple. just make him faster and stronger but it drains his health or something until depleated idk
