#guys sometimes I think about the amount of pain I experience on a daily basis and wonder#would somebody without chronic pain feel this and go to the hospital#like this is TECHNICALLY chest pain but I know it’s muscular and it’s not interfering with my breathing per se#it just hurts to breathe#but I know it’s not my lungs that hurt I know it’s all of the muscles covering my rib cage#in the most painful three day spasm I have ever experienced#like I think the only time I’ve been in more pain was after my car accident#but this is pretty damn well comparable#but I know that if I were to go to the doctor or to urgent care#they would just tell me to take ibuprofen and a hot shower#so instead here I am using prescription strength lidocaine patches left over from a colleague who didn’t use them after a surgery#alternating between an ice pack and a heating pad and laying on an acupressure mat#wincing every time I move because it feels like I’m being stabbed#trying to massage out the muscle knots that are so tight they actually feel like bone#straight up not having a good time physically#but I have read three books in the past 48 hours#medical adventures
