On their first day of school in bllb, Ronan and Adam are first in the Latin classroom—why would Ronan want to show up early to school which he notoriously hates more than anything? The answer is that he knew Adam was going to be there early. And later, when Gansey shows up at Adam’s apartment, Adam is surprised it’s not Ronan, implying that Ronan was a frequent visitor all summer. Ronan saw Adam pulling away and made it his business to stick around him.
