Charlotte is all "it's a horrible LIE that I was Fouché's mistress before and after Thermidor!!!" Gurl why would anyone associate you with him? Were you... seen meeting with him or something?

Claiming to love Robespierre and wanting so ardently to defend his memory is a noble cause that deserves respect and praise, but it soon becomes a rather shallow and empty statement the moment you consciously decide to create "black legends" and spreading infamous lies about whoever you don't agree with or you don't like. This doesn't make you any different from the Thermidorians you loathe so much. You have no idea how many times a similar thing happens every day in many different contexts both in real life and online.
Do you really want to defend the ideals of the French Revolution? Start by thinking about the way you interract with people. Yes, it's something that seems to have no direct link with it or immediate impact on the world we all live in, but I assure you that big changes start from little things.
One last note: For as much as I personally consider a waste to engage in historical content from purely a fandom perspective, do it, I won't stop you, nobody will and nobody should dare to: Everyone should feel free and safe to do what they want in their leisure time. But at least try a little to reflect on what you read about the historical events and characters you claim to adore so much. If history keeps repeating itself over and over is because of how superficial the past is studied and analyzed, even by those who work in the field.
