every time my mom and i have to spend an extended amount of time together i am more and more tempted to weaponize coming out to shock her into dropping an argument but i Know it would just cause more tension in the long run so i actively have to talk myself out of it like twice a day. anyways happy holidays lmao

#yesterday i was telling her abt how insane and touching the recent defunctland doc was despite being disney adult hostile #and she was like 'disney isn't doing too well these days.... but if i tell you why you'll get mad 🙄'#and then blamed it on the whole like. desantis vs disney thing and saying 'people care about family values'#and it became this whole thing #she tried to tell me that christian radio is unbiased and then told me that lgbt indoctrination of children is real and dangerous #she hadn't even heard abt the club q massacre bc SURPRISE !! the christian radio didn't say shit about it !!!#like. i am undeniably lucky to have the ability to pass as cishet to the uninitiated (my parents) but living with people like this.....#it's tiring
