Ooooooooh wow we did it again and this happiness can't stop seriously because seeing young children raising the Uganda 🇺🇬 flag to the world, it's really so amazing. @lindyhopchamps thanks so much for giving up that opportunity of showcasing and competing at the same time which is a great experience for these lovely children always. My hope is one day to perform and compete live on that ground so that people can experience and energy of the children well. I need to thank everyone who worked with me to make this dream come true from China to USA 🇺🇸 building connection around the world. Happiness of Swing Dance with @smilingheartafricafoundation children in one of the slums called Naguru that's found in Kampala city. It's there first time ever to practice Swing Dance and they were so happy for it even to continue always with me going there. The choreography was from @jeanlouis1120 who shared with me because he had been following my work for awhile and he also wanted to share the love with children of Uganda 🇺🇬 through dance that's why he shared that choreo with us. This same choreography has been done by different dance communities in Uganda 🇺🇬 and I will be sharing them as others, it's their first time ever but others no and you see the difference of happiness among them. Am so happy that #Lindyhop and #Swing dance is growing up slowly. Swing Dance and Lindyhop in Uganda 🇺🇬. Has different communities in Uganda 🇺🇬 have started to welcome swing dance and Lindyhop in their communities like the way Mbale dancers in Bugema town did and now we shall keep following up on how they are continuing with the training always. Teaching Shimsham to these young girls and boys was lovely even though they were saying that it's really so hard for them but the first time that's what happens in every new dance learning, it's the same thing to us, because music 🎵🎵 was so tricky. We need to thank everyone who is always mentoring, motivating and encouraging us to keep sharing the love of Swing Dance and Lindyhop in Uganda 🇺🇬 because together we can make it big. If children can teach each other why not us also adults to do so now and make swing dance more popular in Uganda 🇺🇬 and Africa wide. We are so happy for #Jane Nakayiza who was one of the solo dancer participated at @lindyhopchamps with #Natanvia Maria sharing Shimsham dance to fellow children at @danceadventurestudios before they perform together for the parents in Najjera slum during the Christmas party of #Dance Adventure Studio and we need to thank @atite_prisca with the team of the studio for arranging everything. We shall be sharing out the Christmas video, just for fun because we need to celebrate all over together. Long live #FrankieManning and the queen of Swing #Norma Miller. This year has been so hard to everyone but again it didn't stopped us to keep sharing the love of swing in Uganda 🇺🇬. We really tried to put a lot of time and inviting different communities of swing to work with us because Swing Dance is still something new in Uganda. Our participation at @lindyhopchamps Has helped us to be recognized worldwide and we really appreciate so much @time2swing for working with us always and all other communities which accepted with those who supported us in all means to make it in the world map of swingers. Here is another opportunity for us to perform at @capcapeventiswing in Italy January 2 - 3, 2021. This is really a great move after #ILHC which we were 2nd under Children Team Showcase categories. Now follow #Your Swing to see our children representing again, it's really a great start of 2021 in advance now. We hope to do more and collaboration with international Lindyhoppers around the world because we need to promote togetherness has its what we want in the culture of Uganda 🇺🇬.
