so im doing art for lu and was looking at the fd mask and idk

The expression that Time wears has always bothered me? Like, you can see in the text below that he KNOWS that its a dangerous thing, and if he were to put it on, he would be a goner. But this look isnt one of distain or distance, its a bittersweet look at -to me- almost looks fond.

also also, i feel like a lot of people forget that TWILIGHT KNOWS ABOUT THAT MASK-- ((Or at least he did at one point unless Jojo did a retcon on that info))

ALSO ALSO ALSO!!! The word 'demonic' that Jojo uses to describe the mask makes me feel like, yes this entity is called the 'Fierce DEITY' but it is something that isnt aligned with Hyila or the Golden three.

He gasped as blinding pain shot through his chest, falling to his knees and staring up at his brother in shock. How could he do this? To him of all people? How could he turn on his own brother? Those weren't his eyes, the Time he knew would never hurt one of his own. The cloudy silver that smothered the bright blue of the hero’s made it clear enough that he wasn't responsible for the horror that had befallen him. At least he had the comfort of knowing that he hadn't truly fallen from grace in the eyes of his ancestor, even if the mighty war god that had possessed him thought otherwise.

Maybe this time, Ledge would let the darkness take him. No more adventures sounded nice, even if he would miss Ravio. Surely he'd earned this much with all that he'd been forced to go through?

He forced a grin to his face, refusing to be weak in front of the monster that had replaced Time. Even bleeding out and dying he would not show how he was hurting. The vile thing before him didn't seem to appreciate his defiance, how nice of it to let the darkness have him at last.

A concept for fierce deity in lu because i like being contrarian; when time puts on the mask and effortlessly cleaves in half whatever awfully difficult beast the chain was dealing with, the chain cheer and holler like Time has pulled off an extremely cool trick. Because he HAS.

Fierce Deity only wants to fight the Biggest monsters and will be disappointed if its anything less than castle sized.

The after effects is like an adrenaline rush. Like Time just drank a whole pot of coffee. No more magic for a while but boyyyyyy is he hyper. He WILL crash. But later. Now he is speed.

Fierce Deity has adopted Aspect Wild from @tashacee 's hero's aspect and is now showing him off to Hylia. Wild has no idea what is going on. His brain is white noise as he tries to figure it out. Wild has done the boneless thing cats do out of sheer surprise

Headcannon, he can see Mipha revive Wild

Headcannon, he can see lil Time, who died, watch over Legend and Hyrule

(ie worry over when they look sad or curl up and sleep w/ them)

Headcannon, he can see Fierce Deity float around Time, Wars, and the others

(ie poking Wars in the ribs and muttering about his eating habits, trying to push Time back to his bedroll, attempting to tuck Wild in, fretting over whenever Twilight gets injured, sitting by a homesick Sky, curled up around Legde and Rulie w/ lil dead Time's ghost, making funny faces at Wind once discovering he can actually see him)

Headcannon that whenever it seems Four's eyes look purple-ish, he sees Shadow flicker over him with a very fond look in his eyes

Headcannon that Wind can see the first one flash to life above them full of fury when one gets badly injured or angry, he's the most corporal, so much so that Wind thought he was alive the first time, he particularly likes Sky

Headcannon that none of them know until Wind tells them or something happens

He stood tall over them, keeping watch as they patched up their wounds. Watching them take care of one another as family was…. An interesting experience considering the foul looks they kept shooting in his direction. He would release his charge into their care once they had taken care of the rest of their little gang of hooligans. Link may not appreciate it but he would have to suffer through it regardless.

When Fierce finally let Time have his body back the first sound that came out of him was a sharp grunt before he fell to the ground, exhaustion’s a bitch. Wars’ careful hands made sure that his broken bones were set where they needed to be, even if he threatened to rip his fingers off for it. Luckily for him Wars is more than used to being threatened by his Sprite.
