hey hey i am natasha and i am so pumped to be here. this is my pretentious little bitch, valencia. first and foremost, her bark is way more vicious than her bite and there is an 8/10 chance she will try to pick a fight with your character - it's just what she does. she's harmless though, i promise.

so here are her basic stats:

she is very close with her mother, probably because she is the only girl out of four kids. when she was growing up the two of them spent every sunday afternoon watching classic films, making movies her first love, with literature a close second

her mother stayed at home and her father was a big time editor of a news conglomerate, so it was a must to be knowledgeable of current events in her household. though she is closer with her mother, she yearns for the respect of her father, which has always seemed much more attainable for her brothers than for her. she gets her hardness and determination from him and wants nothing more than to make him proud

even though she talks about miami a lot, she has always wanted to get out and see the world. her father is always traveling, but she hasn’t exactly had the same opportunity. she would never admit to how excited she is to see the country, but she really really is

the best way to describe her is probably girl boss and definitely a proud feminist. val is determined, ambitious, and ruthless. but it definitely comes with its downfalls, because she suffers from extreme anxiety exacerbated by her drive for perfectionism. this is something she hides fairly well 

just because she has a superiority complex does not mean she is not a good friend. in fact, she is very loyal to the people close to her, and despite outward appearances, she can make for a good listener and advice giver. except she is 100% the "dump him" girl

yes, she has a reputation for arguing with people and never backing down, but she honestly really enjoys intellectual banter. although she would never concede an argument, she prefers people who can actually keep up with her quips and wit. those who can’t will suffer worse

val studies english lit and she has a deep appreciation and love for all things art. poetry, theatre, novels, paintings, sculptures, photography, classical music - she is an eager connoisseur of it all. she also speaks three languages and will make snide comments in a different language just because she can 

the girl is a type A like you wouldn't believe, and i can see her being the person on the trip who has an agenda for every single day and will fight with someone who wants to go off schedule. planning is a necessity for her, and she struggles very badly with change

her secret is something that could have huge academic repercussions for her, so i would love for someone to know it who would want to use it against her honestly. blackmail would make her feel so helpless, a feeling she is not used to at all 

i could say a whole lot more, but i will save it for an about section on her page

okay honestly i CANNOT wait to rp with you all! i love small group atmospheres where we can all develop these fantastic characters together. if our characters already have an established connection, i would love to elaborate on it! and if they don't, we definitely need to come up with something :) i will be at work for most the day tomorrow, but like this or message me and we will start plotting stat

howdy, friends ! i'm blake and i'm honestly? just a lame bean. don't hesitate to IM me or kik me @stcrdvst if you ever wanna talk about things! i plan on plotting and becoming friends with each and every one of you, but before that, i've included a little bit about my quixotic little winnie under the cut. i do wanna let y'all know that there is mention of death in winnie's bullet points ! i'm not looking to make anyone uncomfy.

first and foremost — winnie hates very few things (she's honestly just a little lovebug), but on the list of things that she can't stand is being called winifred. so like, just stick with winnie/win/literally anything else.

winnie's mother had her when she was pretty young, so baby winnie lived with her grandmother until her mother had the means to move out — which was when winnie was around six or seven.

her father was never in the picture. he was long gone before she was born, but more on that later! it's kinda been winnie and her mom against the world, and while they don't always get along, she'll always assert that her mother is her best friend.

but as i was saying! winnie moved out of her grandmother's house at six or seven when her mother got remarried. soon after, her mother was pregnant and the three of them were living in white picket fence, domesticated bliss for a while.

a little bit on winnie as a child? she honestly wasn't very different from how she is now? she's always been oozing with optimism — has always had big plans and a big imagination. she was a mess of wild hair with a longing for adventure and an affinity for affection

shit hit the fan when she turned seventeen. her brother — ten years old at the time — passed away in a car accident. it was devastating and winnie still isn't quite over it. in fact, since the incident, she can't bring herself to drive under any circumstances. so my guess is she'll be a passenger for most of the road trip.

i think that's it for her history ? right now, she's majoring in creative writing with a minor in dance — or as her mother so gracefully puts it: unemployment. it'd please winnie's mom if she was studying something more practical/something that could pay the bills, but her mother doesn't really harp on it because winnie's honestly so set in her ways so?? what's the point??

she's lacking severe direction, though. i imagine she's changed her major, like, seven times. but she's definitely a fan of the arts — writing, music, art, dance, acting — you name it, she's tried it and probably wholeheartedly adores it.

her youtube channel! is her baby. she really digs creating content and vlogging and editing and she'll for sure be filming anything and everything during the trip despite everyone's constant pleas for her to fucking stop.

speaking of this trip ! winnie's bound and determined to find her father in los angeles. from a young age, she's convinced herself that her father's a famous rock musician (i still haven't chosen one that fits in with her timeline... judge me). she's done her research with what little information her mother's given her about her birth father, and she's ready to get some closure on that this summer — which, knowing winnie, will probably turn out to be a complete and total disaster.

i think my favorite part about winnie is her vulnerability? she's just so intrigued by possibility and so raring to put herself out there it's ? almost admirable. she's not afraid to tell people how she feels (even when no one's asked) or embrace unpleasant feelings. she's just a very sensitive, emotionally-in-tune human and i hope y'all grow to love her as much as i have.
