I just realized that in both LitM and DitL Noah's the only one to have a good relationship with both his parents.

LitM: Richelle: does not live with her parents and only sees them when she has to Jacquie: her parents are divorced and her mom lives in a different city (I'm not sure if I ever officially stated that, but yeah). She loves her mom, but there's some resentment because she moved away. Noah: lives with his parents and brothers, no major conflicts

DitL: Richelle: has not heard from her parents in over 20 years Jacquie: her parents are divorced here too, and she has a strained relationship with her mom, only sees her when she has to Noah: again, good relationship, supported him through his transition (which is like bare minimum, but still) they also get bonus points for helping out Natalie and Richelle

(Technically Elliot has a good relationship with his parents in DitL, but I haven't actually thought of anything to do with his background [beyond the fact that he was in a touring production of Matilda as a child and that is what he was referencing during Musicals Week]. But yeah, he also has good familial relationships)

I think one of my favorite things about having the chaos polycules living together is later LitM is the fact that those kids have so many safe adults. Like need to talk to an adult about this but not sure you want to talk to your parents, cool, there are 5-6 other adults that you live with, who may tell your parents what's going on, depending on the situation, but also if you're struggling to figure out a way to tell your parents something you know that one (or more) of those other adults can help you.

Anyway, I love communal living, especially as it pertains to raising children. It's probably going to be a little bit before I write/post more from that point in the timeline, but it's very good

I wrote a Halloween one-shot for Day After Day all the way back in like March and I am so excited I finally get to share it on Tuesday. I'm gonna schedule it on Wattpad to publish at 7:00 AM PDT and hopefully it'll be up on AO3 around the same time.

So the setup of DanceMania makes absolutely no sense for a reality show, and of course I decided for Even When You’re Gone to completely restructure it. And I’m realizing how extremely difficult it is to structure a reality show, at this point I’ve pretty much decided that it doesn’t air live, except for the last three weeks (kinda like Idol I guess, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it), and also that it airs weekly. (I think, tbh I’m still trying to figure it out)

tldr; I’m struggling, and DanceMania made no sense

I'm writing the last chapter of Even When You're Gone at the moment and I'm severely tempted to leave the results of DanceMania ambiguous. Like just not reveal who the winner is after ten chapters of build-up.

I don’t know how many of you have read my fanfic, but I’m trying to work out the timeline for Season 6 and it makes no sense, so Regionals is now in late July/early August because canon timeline is beyond complicated

Originally Richelle was supposed to room with Jacquie and Kenzie. Emily made them promise to behave themselves if they go to room together (they probably would’ve been fine since Kenzie was also there). When Richelle she kept one of the TNS rooms and Cleo and Lily got shuffled into the other two “Girls Rooms”.
