[피아노 포르테] - 윤현상

'피아노를 통한 자신 본연의 음악을 찾아가는 첫번째 여정'

아날로그 감성을 지닌 윤현상.  KPOP스타 오디션 프로그램으로 얼굴을 알린 윤현상이 로엔트리에 합류하여 첫번째 데뷔 앨범을 발표하였다.

오디션프로그램에서 부터 아날로그적인 감성으로 피아노치는 윤현상. 작곡하는 싱어송라이터로 제 2의 유재하라는 수식어가 잘 어울리는 윤현상은 데뷔 앨범에서도 피아노를 통한 자작곡으로 경험에서 우러나온 자신만의 감성을 가진 곡들을 발표했다.

윤현상의 감성이 로엔에 의해서 만들어진 것은 아니다. 윤현상의 감성과 로엔트리의 감성이 어느정도 맞아떨어졌기에 이번앨범은 로엔의 개입이 거의 보이지 않는다. 온전히 윤현상만의 곡과 감성으로 만들어진 앨범이다.

어찌보면, 윤현상은 로엔에서의 제 2의 남자 아이유같다. 싱어송라이터임과 동시에 아날로그적인 감성을 풍기는 가수로써 독보적인 아이유의 색깔과 꽃갈피 같은 감성앨범을 제작하며 많은 어시스트를 한 로엔트리는 이번 윤현상앨범을 발표하면서 아이유와 비슷한 노선을 밟지 않을까 생각한다.

아이유와 같은 감성을 자극하는 보컬과 음원이 돋보이는 윤현상은 멜로디보다 가사를 우선적으로 생각하고 중요시한다고 한다. 짧은 타이틀의 노래들이 흥행하는 요즘에 '나 평생 그대 곁을 지킬게' 와 같은 긴 제목의 트랙들이 그 이유다. 

2개의 곡이 타이틀로 선정된 이번앨범은 아이유와 함께한 듀엣곡 '언제쯤이면'으로 음악 방송에서 활동하고 있다. '흥행보증수표' 아이유와 함께한 곡이어서 그런지 음원공개 전 부터 많은 기대를 받았다.

'언제쯤이면'은 이별한 남녀의 감정을 감성적인 멜로디와 가사로 잘 풀어낸 곡이지만 어쩐지 곡의 주도권을 아이유에게 빼앗겨버린 느낌이다. 곡의 후반으로 갈수록 고조되는 멜로디는 아이유의 보컬과 함께 절정을 맞는다. 윤현상의 역할은 마치 고조되는 아이유의 파트에 도달하게 해주는 다리의 역할만 하는 듯한 느낌이다. 기승전결의 전결을 아이유가 해결해버린다.

아무래도 첫 데뷔이기 때문에 아이유를 내세워 프로모션하는것은 당연하기도 하고 또 나쁜방향은 아닌 것 같다. 아이유를 통해 윤현상의 앨범을 한번 더 청취하고, 윤현상이라는 아티스트의 데뷔를 각인할 수 있기 때문이다.

첫번째 데뷔앨범은 아이유를 등에 업고 인지도와 가능성을 보여줬다면, 이 다음 앨범에서는 윤현상만의 감성을 담은 앨범으로 기획하고 오롯이 윤현상이라는 아티스트가 싱어송라이터로써 자리를 잡아갈수 있는 방향으로 나가야한다고 생각한다.

요즘 흔치않은 감성을 가진 윤현상인 만큼, 또 제 2의 유재하라는 수식어처럼 윤현상만의 음악적 행보를 이어가길 바라며 다음 앨범에서의 모습을 기대해본다.

# 개인적인 주절주절

감성적인 멜로디, 가사가 돋보이는 윤현상의 자작곡들은 처음 앨범트랙을 재생했을때, 확실히 요즘 쏟아져나오는 곡들과는 달랐다. 가을저녁에 조용하고 또 편하게 즐길 수 있는, 듣는 사람의 감성을 움직이는 음악을 하고 있는 윤현상의 곡들은 칭찬할만 하다.

하지만 아쉬웠던 부분을 꼽자면 윤현상의 경험과 감정을 표현한 가사들의 조금은 더 다듬어졌으면 한다. 오디션프로그램에서 먼저 선보였던  '내 방 어디에나'라는 트랙도 데뷔앨범에 수록되었는데, 가사적인 부분이 변화된게 없어 멜로디와 함께 듣기에 다른 어휘나 단어를 써주었음했던 부분들이 있었다.

물론 데뷔전 작사한 곡이라는 점을 감안하지만 데뷔앨범에 수록될때 가사를 조금 더 업그레이드 했다면 더 매끄럽게 감상하기 좋을 것 같다. 이 부분이 마지막트랙은 약간 아마추어 같다 라는 느낌을 받은 이유인 것 같다.

UNGRATEFUL!!!!!!!

Im sorry I just saw a tweet from a history fan/storia saying "IU should go die". and Im really upset!!! You dont need to be her fan or support her, you can even ignore her but to say or wish that on her is really really UNGRATEFUL/ DESPICABLE/DISGUSTING in my book!!! Do you even know that IU did so many things for HISTORY?

-She narrated for their debut song.

- She narrated live for their debut on inkigayo hence they got #1 search on search engines.

- When HISTORY guested on Yoo inna's radio for the first time. IU dropped off Cakes earlier in the day for staffs and asked them to take care of HISTORY. she also left a box of chocolate for history. She doesnt need to do all that but she did it anyway so that radio staffs will take good care of History. She was looking out for them!

- She visited them on their debut day just to cheer on them even though she was/is busy with her drama.

- They get to perform at inkigayo every week instead of every other week like in other stations is because of IU.

- Oh and their song D-day and their music video for dreamer was played in the bg in IU's drama. A rookie's song that used in a weekend drama is a big deal because weekend dramas cover a wide range of viewing demographics.

- and I read a storia hate her because kyungil danced with her on beautiful dancer? WTF? Im sure he was thankful that he got to be in her mv because it was an opportunity for him to show ppl his skills.--more ex-poser!

I am a storia  and I am ashamed that there are this kind of ppl in our fandom. People i hate the most are brainless ppl who dont bother to use their head to think LOGICALLY!!!!!

oh btw, Im sure HISTORY dont need these kind of fans cause they're good and nice guys who are grateful that IU did so many things for them when she didnt even have to!!!!
