That is a scary ending, having Nghia obviously having heart issues similiar to his mother's and Thien running a fever but also Nghia's coughing when he picked him up... That's the kind of ending that screams how many disasters are coming.
O2 hasn't done a sad ending yet but I never trust anyone entirely.
My prediction, right now, is that Nghia will power through to take care of Thien then collapse as he gets better, end up in a hospital with his family and that'll be the final drama since we have two episodes left.
But I might be wrong. O2 might be gentler on us... but I'm worried.

The weight of Thien's experience with homophobia and Nghia's innocence weighs on both of them, pushing them apart. Neither of them knows how to communicate around the past or the future or the expectations that surround them.
Nghia realizing that his father can accept him but his mother can't; Thuen watching him tell the same lies that his ex always spoke and the same space between them growing.
The weight of loneliness and the weight of responsibility resting on them that love cannot lift because their love only makes the weights heavier.
Nghia loving so much but unable to speak the words or express himself because he loves him mother too much and cannot bear the thought of making her sick. Thien loving so much but certain that nothing can last and knowing that he will break for his family.
The love hurts so much, it really does, and they had better give me a happy ending to this.
